RON'S PAINTING

He provided an estimate of $409.50. I specifically explained how I wanted the flooring to be different from before so I would not run into the problems again. He came and performed the repairs but then told me that the material cost more then he expected (first mistake) and I had to pay an additional $214.98. When he finished with the work, the work was not up to what I asked and the corners were not flush with each other and could cause problems so I asked that he come back and fix it (second mistake). He did. Within 8 months, the glued corners or whatever he did did not last and I called him and asked for him to fix it given the fact his work did not last 1 year. It took over 4 months to get him to come back and fix it. Finally a date was schedule to get the job done but his worker NEVER showed up and I was paying an assistant to be at my house all day. Ron had no clue where the guy was and why he did not show up (third mistake) ... plus Ron NEVER took it upon his self to get the job done. About a month later, Ron called and finally scheduled an appointment on a weekend to get the job done correctly. He said he needed to wait until his ONLY guy who does this work was available and that he was good. His guy was at my place another 8 hours to get the job done correctly. Once the guy left ... Ron NEVER inspected his work or came to look at what his guy did ... within 1 hour stepping on the foyer, the wooden foyer started to CRACK! I immediately called Ron to tell him and his response was "nothing can be done until after the Holidays." I called someone else to come and take a look at the work. He immediately said that Ron's guy (who according top Ron is the best at what he does with flooring) NEVER installed reinforcement under the lip of the floor which was why it was cracking. This new person installed reinforcement right away and took care of what Ron's Painting could NOT do. Ron's Painting's work was not up to par and he obviously he does not back his work. BEWARE!

RECOMMENDED BY MANY, THE GENTLEMAN DOES INDOOR AND OUTDOOR PAINTING. I HAVE USED HIM SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. I WILL CONTINUE PASS THE WORD ALONG ON WHAT A GREAT JOB HE DOES.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS POOR. RON'S CREW DID NOT SHOW UP ON TIME AND WHEN THEY DID THEY WERE NOT VERY RESPONSIVE. WE HAD TO COMPLAIN TO GET THE QUALITY OF WORK WE WANTED. TO MAKE THINGS WORSE THE COMPANY WANTED TO CHARGE US MORE THAN THEY QUOTED.
