Great! The office manager was incredibly helpful, the estimate was accurate, and the individual conducting the work was professional!

The work was performed to my satisfaction, the old gutters removed and all done in a timely manner.. At my request, they also made some adjustments to the down spouting so that it was no longer right beside a carriage light by my garage. Also a year and a half later I had water overflowing the spouting. They came out and checked it out for me. It turned out to be roofing material clogging the down spout, which the nice workman cleaned out for me, and although the issue was not Riba's fault they did not charge me for the visit.

It went very well. Highly recommend.

The work was outstanding, the were very responsive, top notch. the owner was easy to work with, and listens to your decisions. very very easy to work with. the company was very helpful in navigating an insurance claim, in scheduling and answering questions that my insurance adjusters would ask.

The work was very good, very quick. they were very professional and responsive to calls, and they were the lowest bid, so the price was reasonable. Already recommended them to other people.

Very responsive and pleasant to deal with - came out and diagnosed problem and fixed it at the same time - needed new flashing at the roof chimney boundary. Very pleasant foreman who even cleaned my gutter out for no charge. I Appreciated that give the rains that were coming. Flashing looks great from the street. Hopefully leak is fixed. Have hired a mold removal company to fix smell. Also , I’m considering RIBA for a picture window replacement.

As a realtor in Northern Virginia who was trying to help facilitate an appointment for an estimate, on behalf of a very busy seller, this company's policy of not even discussing an appointment unless it's with the seller is very short sighted and could possibly lead to losing quite a bit of potential business. Realtors are in front of home owners every single day and we are asked constantly for referrals on all things house. We are also asked, by buyers/sellers to make things, such as this, easier for the working homeowner. So sorry but instead of adding the name of this company to a valued list of contractors I will be leaving them out.

Setting up appointment was fast and flawless. My scheduled (2 hour window) date came and gone. No One Showed and No One Called. Nothing!

RIBA construction was recommended by one of my neighbors. I initially started with them by replacing my old cedar shake roof with new architectural asphalt shingle (32 squares) with three new skylights. From the very start, the sales and contract process with Ryan was open and honest. They genuinely wanted to get the right roof solution versus just making another sale. The communication through the process from the back-office with Jerry and Yolanda was also superb. The roof and skylights were ultimately installed and the RIBA Construction diligently followed through until all work was completed. As a result of this great experience, shortly thereafter I selected RIBA Construction to complete a number of other projects (all completed concurrently with diligent coordination): - Windows and Sliding Doors --> replaced forty (40) old wood windows with new vinyl casement windows - Siding --> replaced (20 squares) of engineered wood with new vinyl siding - Capping --> All windows, doors, and trim capped with aluminum and vinyl soffit vents - Gutters --> installed 300+ feet of new gutters and downspouts While no project goes perfectly, everyone at RIBA Construction really cares about doing the right thing and made everything the way it should be without hesitation. In the end, the exterior of my home has been completely renovated and I now have a virtually maintenance-free exterior. I'm very happy with the appearance and functionality as well as the value of all services. If you are looking for a company you can trust to provide an honest assessment, strong communication, and skilled installers, RIBA Construction is a great option. I highly recommend and will certainly hire them again for future projects.

About as bad as a job can go. Gutters were installed wrong and my house flooded and caused $6000+in damage. Contacted RIBA and they offered no assistance. Horrible company.

Gutters were installed during a torrential rain storm. At the time, I was glad they finished however I was worried about the install. This year, with all the rain, water is leaking out on the side of the house wall and water is filling windows and pouring inside my living room. Either the gutters were sized incorrectly or installed incorrectly in the front. Contacted RIBA; they said they were too busy to come out and make it right. Even after I offered to cover it knowing that my warranty had run out. Now I am stuck finding someone else to correct the problem. They did suggest that I check to see if there is a tennis ball in the gutter...sorry, I'm not Serena.

Other than intermittent communications between the office receptionist and myself everything went as planned. Good work, just need to be a bit more efficient in scheduling.

I called them and they responded immediately . They sent someone to see what is needed called me back that they ordered the sheet and when they get it they will do the work. Once they got the part they called me the night before that someone will be there to fix it and when I came home in the afternoon it was already done and a very good job. I was very pleased with their work and I will hire them again if needed.

Can not say enough good things on how professional the entire process was. From the owner to each craftsman that worked on the project, the results were the same - outstanding. First of all they were on time and let us know exactly what was going on every step of the process. At the end of the day, everything was cleaned up. When we had questions or decisions to make, there was never any rushing us. They always brought in an expert on the subject matter and offered us several options (sometimes several times). Even when changes were made to the original plans, things went very smoothly. My wife and I are exceptionally pleased with everything. If you take a look at pictures of the portico ( should be on their website) you will see the quality of the workmanship. I can not say enough good things about Richard and his entire crew. Any additional work I have done on our house will be with RIBA Construction.

The team showed up quickly to assess the situation, and took the time to show me exactly what needed to be repaired (my gutter was not hung properly). Once I signed off on the work, RIBA Construction finished rehanging my gutter within the next few days. I was really appreciative of this since I know the team was busy fixing storm damage on numerous other houses in the area. Richard and his team provided quality service for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend RIBA Construction to anyone and would use them for any future projects I need help with.

Things went by quickly and on schedule. I called for a free estimate. Gene came by and was very friendly and professional. He provided the estimate, walked us through the process and answered our questions immediately. Appointment booked, materials delivered and roof replaced. It was that quick and it looks great. We love our new roof! Thank you!

Wrote an earlier review of exterior trim work completed in Feb-Mar 2018. Decided to have the remainder of the house wood trimmed and exterior doors and sunlights painted. Satisfied with the work overall. A couple of things I would've had done differently but nothing to note or lower my rating. I will definitely refer to others and use them again when needed. A big thanks to Gene Crawford (sales manager) for his responsiveness.

I contacted this provider after the February windstorm blew aluminum cladding off the soffit on the south side of my Arlington home, seeking 2 things: repair/replacement of the aluminum soffit cladding and installation of a gutter leaf guard. Made an appointment to come by for an estimate: No call, no show. I called a few days later and received an apology and rescheduled for a morning visit. Rep came by in late afternoon, looked at the project, and promised an estimate for gutter guards via email the following day. Thereafter, nothing. I would say, strike one, strike two, strike three.

I was happy with the service and work provided.

Started on agreed upon start date plus one day due to rain first thing in a.m. Worked all day (lunch) worked until project was done. Jerry, office manager answered our calls & made sure we were taken care of. Ryan, estimated & sold us the right roof for our needs & budget. Jose was the crew chief on site. They identified some problems fixed them & came in on budget. Excellent workmanship. Jose great crew chief.

I contacted the company and spoke with Jerry about what we needed work on after a branch came down during a windstorm. Two plywood sheets and shingling needed for the shed and two 20 foot gutters replaced. He asked for pictures which were sent a couple minutes I got off the phone with him. He contacted me back to send out his estimator and scheduled it for a week later. The estimator came out at the scheduled time, noted to me that he saw the pictures and told them he could quote from them but they wanted him to come regardless. He gave me a verbal quote and I asked for it to be emailed which he agreed he would do. I followed up the next day asking for the quote but did not hear back. Called a couple days afterwards where they indicated they did not have the quote and would have to research why. I received a call back indicating that the quote was given to the project manager who decided it was too small of a job for them to accept. What a waste of time. Hope they run their projects better than they run their estimating for those who ignore this.

One of our gable vents blew out during the intense windstorm our area suffered in early March. I called several contractors for help, and RIBA Construction responded promptly and professionally, and had the gable vent fixed within 24 hours. RIBA is the only one that seemed to understand the urgency of getting the hole in my attic closed up to keep out birds and animals, as well as the weather. RIBA is the one I'll call when I need roofing, siding, or window work in the future. Kudos!

ryan baxter gave us the estimate and jose flores led a crew of 5 who did the work. everything start to finish could not have been done better. riba may be only 2 years old, but the entire crew performed like a well-organized, professional team -- we are going to hire them again for another project soon.
