Reyes did a great job. We got eight quotes in two days (yes, more than needed, but glad we did). Quotes went from 11k to 24K (hard to believe a spread of 100%), particularly with all but two using the same products (one only quoted felt paper vice synthetic underlayment; the other quoted an equivalent shingle). We combined the quotes with info from the sales presentations on materials, warranty, crew (employees, subs, indepents, etc.), apparent knowledge, on-line ratings/complaints, etc. Reyes is a smaller, family run contractor, had been used by another home in our area that looked good and had impressed the owner, was friendly with no high pressure, seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. Their quote wasn't the lowest, but was on the lower end of the spectrum and we were impressed by him. Reyes provided a wider installation of "Winterguard" material on the eaves and rakes than other contractors to ensure it extended over the heated wall as required by code). Reyes price for any replacement sheathing was in line with expectations, lower than several others and he owned up to one piece that they didn't charge us for because Reyes said the damage was caused by their shingle delivery person (I like a contractor that owns up to their mistake, particularly when I hadn't noticed). We ended up needing 3 total sheets: the broken one, one spongy with lite water infiltration, one with significant water infiltration. The owner went up on the roof during the process and took pictures of several areas for me. The crew were friendly and the installation went as advertised in two days. We had replaced the siding to roof rubber waterproofing the builder used with aluminum some years ago, and Reyes included replacement product on the side hip roof and two bump outs, as well as 6" color matched step flashing where needed. They included high quality replacements for the DWV pipe boots, used high heat paint on the furnace exhaust, and one bathroom vent "turtle" cover, all color matched to the shingles. They picked up after themselves pretty well (we've found only about 7 nails they missed in our mulch and grass, it's inevitable). We hope not to have to do it again, but wouldn't hesitate to call Reyes back and have recommended them to others.

We are extremely happy with our new roof and gutters! Reyes Roofing Contractors completed the work on time and for the amount estimated. The quality of work is excellent - They paid attention to the details, including installing an ice shield and replacing rotten wood. They even fixed an area around the chimney that the managernoticed was on a downward slope. The gutters look great too! Even with all of the extra details and with the high quality materials, their estimate was the best out of the 3 estimates we got for our roof replacement. We are very happy we chose them to replace our roof. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for roofing or gutter work.

Reyes Roofing replaced our roof about 2 years ago. Recently, we had a large tree limb fall on the roof, damaging it and the gutter. We called Reyes; they came out the next day to survey the damage and provide an estimate, which our insurance company found very reasonable. We scheduled a repair date for the following week. Prior to the repair occurring, we experienced a large rain storm and discovered that, due to the damage to the gutter, water was getting inside our bay window. We called Reyes to let them know what had happened; the very next day (which was several days before the roof repair was scheduled to take place) they showed up and replaced the gutter in order to prevent further water intrusion. The roof repair took place a few days later. Reyes's crew finished the job expeditiously, and we were very happy with their work. We will continue to use Reyes Roofing for all our roofing needs.

Reyes came recommended by our GC. We received estimates from two other top-rated Angie's List roofers; Reyes was the least expensive. They did a great job, finished in a timely manner, and thoroughly cleaned up our property before leaving. Additionally, they used less material than they originally estimated and adjusted our final bill accordingly.
