Description of Work: We had 22 windows installed of which 16 were stain grade windows. Our home is approximately 100 years old and We were very particular about the windows installed. The old saying "you get what you pay for" is very true. We absolutely are so happy with the look and quality of our new windows. The windows, combined with the new HVAC systems we installed last fall have decreased our electric bill over 50% which is huge! Once again, we cannot say enough how much we love our windows! And the salesman and installers were the best!

Member, thank you for sharing this review despite the poor score. Unfortunately, your message got cut short so it is difficult to understand what your full message is. It appears we were at your home 11/8/13 rather than 12/2 but we are glad to hear the consultant was on time for your meeting. As far as the price goes, we understand everyone has different budgets and while we do our best to provide diverse pricing options for homeowners, we do offer a high quality product and much pricing you may be comparing to is not necessarily apples to apples. Our notes from the meeting also indicate you wanted to match some vinyl windows you already had. Since we do not sell vinyl windows and you did not like our pricing it doesn't seem we would have done anything but waste your time had we stayed any longer. That said, if you feel the consultant became rude there is no excuse for that and we are more than glad to look into it so for that feedback, thank you. All the best to you in your search for the right company to fit your needs.

Description of Work: Replaced all the windows (6) and the patio doors and transom windows above the doors. They installed stainable wood trim inside which was why I contacted them. The company was expensive but they were very professional and did everything quickly and exactly right!

Description of Work: In September 2011 they installed a sliding glass door w/screen panel in the kitchen eat-in space of my late sisters home. In addition, they had to replace the framework that goes around the door due to years of water damage. The day that I went to order the door I took a screen to one of the windows with me for repair because someone had punched a small hole in it. They replaced the screen mesh at no charge. In 2003 we used them to replace all of the windows in my late sister's home and also all of the windows and two sliding glass doors in my own home. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Description of Work: I believe I have filed a report on this company before. Anderson windows/doors aren't cheap; but they're top quality as were the salesman and the installation team. Installation of a front door and its two door-sized windows as well as new kitchen & dining room windows were accomplished in about five hours with an absolute minimum of disruption to the rest of the house. The age of the house (30+years) didn't make this an easy job, but the results were beyond every expectation. Beautiful, functional, insulating door and windows. Installers even managed to place the kitchen window into wall-tiles, perfectly.
