Remington Mulch

I have been ordering mulch through them for a few years now. Good service, price and good quality mulch.

Just great! I went there because my landscaper recommended them - said they treated him right. For the mower tuneup, I loved the fact that they had a thorough checklist of items that they acutally used and applied and made comments to. Before this overhaul, I'd hated the mower because it ran and moved poorly even fresh out of the box. Now, it runs like a champ. I also like how they fixed the hedge trimmer, but I haven't used it yet, but tthe price was right.

Mulch delivered promptly and exactly where requested. The quality of the mulch left much to be desired as it was full of pieces of plastic, rubber and cloth, not to mention chunks of painted wood half the size of one's hand. I inquired about the contamination and was told not to order double shredded wood mulch in the future, but the more expensive hardwood bark mulch. Let this be a lesson to anyone looking for inexpensive mulch from Remington.

I ordered enriched garden soil for my raised beds last year from Remington. Ordering was fine, delivery was on time, but I noticed a few months into the summer that there were several white grubs in the soil. Now this year, it's chock full (we hadn't noticed any before this soil was delivered - and we'd dug in the yard several times). We also started to notice a lot of grass varieties coming up and hundreds of invasive chives. This year is even worse. So most of this spring we've been trying to eradicate the chives and the grubs. It's been a lot of time and money spent on this.

This is my third year buting from Remington. Their mulch prices are fair and the delivery price is about what I would expect to pay if I had to rent a truck to go get it myself. I always have a great service experience with them - Online ordering (even with PayPal), prompt communications, and on-time delivery.

I've used Remington for delivery twice before. I would order a truckload of loose mulch, but there is no place I can have it dumped in my yard or driveway, so have to pay a higher price for bags. On all occasions, they came one or two days after the order and at the time they estimated they would be here. Their delivery men are very neat in their stacking of the mulch. They always send the right amount of bags. The mulch is of wonderful quality. I highly recommend them.

Since we purchased our home in Falls Church, I've had Remington deliver bagged mulch and topsoil. I get next day turnaround on delivery, and it's stacked just where I need it. I prefer bagged since I am breaking up clay and mix both with sand and compost. And you can't beat Remington's prices on delivered products. I spent three times as much on a contractor to lay mulch. While it was nice, the mulch was full of mold. Never had a problem with either from Remington.

This is where the co. shined! They arrived on time and worked very hard to place the mulch where I needed it dumped. The delivery man worked very hard to make my experience the top quality. They succeeded in all the factors I consider important: quality, cost and SERVICE.

Mulch and compost was delivered on the day promised. Driver was professional. The quality was good. I have no complaints.

I spent about $280 on that work. They were good, responsive and reasonably priced. The quality of the mulch we received was really great and I think they actually gave us more than what we were paying for.

Called up Remington Mulch and scheduled a topsoil delivery. Person on the phone was very courteous and was was able to take payment over the phone. They delivered the soil the same week. I marked an area on the driveway with some cardboard signs on the location to unload and they dropped off the soil exactly where I wanted. Invoice was left at the door. The whole process was very smooth.

They provided good mulch. They delivered the bags and stacked them well. They arrived when they said they would. Everything went nice, and I had a good experience with them.

They delivered the mulch on time to the right location. There were no problems with the billing or anything. I did all of the ordering online.

Everything went just perfectly. This is the second year we've used Remington. Their price is among the best; if you buy 50 bags of more there is no delivery charge. They stack the mulch (in the past other companies have just dumped it in a huge pile that spills over to the grass). I ordered online, got a phone call the next day to schedule delivery and delivery was 2 days after that. The only small "complaint" I have is that they could not give me a two or four-hour "window" for delivery and so had to make sure I was home. I was out and left a check, they would have delivered but I wanted to me there. For the 50 bag minimum, they have a lot of flexibility: you can mix and match products to make the 50 bags, you can pool with your neighbors for it, etc. I think their service is just excellent.

Ordering was a bit of a hassle, because their website didn't work, so I had to call my order in. The website delivery cost to my location showed as $30, but over the phone I was charged $40. I referenced the website, but the rep said that their website isn't accurate. Other than that, it was a good experience. The driver was on time (one hour window), unloaded the mulch where I asked him to.

I ordered online, their website had a few quirks but worked well. They called me after I placed the order to confirm it, we then agreed on a time of delivery. The driver arrived on time and was very helpful. He did the best he could placing the products where I wanted them. To summarize, they were prompt, reasonably priced, and their product was of good quality.

They were exactly what they promised. They were professional, courteous, and fast. They gave me same day service and were actually really good to deal with.

The mulch was delivered as promised. It was very high quality; it contained almost no debris.

This is the second time we have used Remington due to the quality of the product and the convenience. We didn't have to be home, and they placed the mulch on time exactly as requested. Our next door neighbor was so impressed with the quality of our order that she placed her own order which was delivered the very next day- important when you want to spread it before bad weather hits! There may be cheaper mulch out there, but we find it worth the price to get this product and have the peace of mind that it has never yet contained weed seed or other undesirable ingredients- which cost you more in the long run!

We ordered on line 30 bags of topsoil. They called us on Monday to arrange a time to drop off the topsoil. I didn't call them back until Thursday morning. They delivered the topsoil on Friday morning. They were able to back the truck up our driveway and put it where we wanted it next to our fence. We were only going to order about 25 bags but there was a delivery charge so we ordered 30 and got free delivery.

Delivery was one day late, due to a shortage of drivers. This order was shared with our neighbor, and they were kind enough to reposition the truck and drop 20 in one driveway and 20 in the other.
