+ -1 moreJim remained in contact with me, as well as our landlord (who does not reside locally), provided a competitive estimate, and followed up to answer all questions and concerns. The tree that was removed was old and big and riddled with carpenter ants. It was fast becoming a safety issue and we had contacted another tree company prior to Jim, that promised several times to come by for an estimate but never did. When I was told about Quality Landscaping, I called Jim, and he came over that afternoon to assess the work. He provided an estimate to our landlord in a timely manner and the work was done within a week. The yard looks great and I highly recommend Jim McLain and Quality Tree Service & Landscaping.
Description of Work: Remove a 60' maple (due to carpenter ant infestation that could not be treated), including grinding out roots, filling with soil, sodding, hauling away (diseased) wood, chopping and stacking remaining (good) wood. Jim and his crew also came back to lay additional sod without being asked, and made sure that it was well watered. They also hauled away a large stand of old firewood that was riddled with termites, and treated two additional trees in our yard for carpenter ants.
