I've managed multiple projects with Power Link over the last 10 years but this was by far the largest - both in scope and money. As I've moved between employers over the last decade I've always brought in PowerLink to assist me with new build outs, changes to existing installations or corrections to poor work performed by other contractors. Working with company owner, and master electrician Paul Thompson and his talented team of electricians was an absolute pleasure. Despite multiple hurdles to over come - un-permittable, in-correct mechanical drawings from another local company which required multiple changes (this was my fault, as I hired the ME/PE/EE firm) - difficult building management and building engineers - Paul and his Power Link team handled the install like well seasoned professionals. I've had more than a few compliments on the quality of the installation, specifically the conduit, which is an art form in itself, to dress-out neatly. In the 18 months since the generator was installed, we've had no issues with the work Power Link performed and as final confirmation of their work we recently had a multi-hour power outage which resulted in 0 downtime. I've used PowerLink many, many times over the years - primarily for low-voltage for new office suites; installation of projectors and the associated electrical etc. From Virginia to Maryland, the PowerLink team continues to delivery consistent and high quality results. I especially like dealing with the same group of low-voltage techs and electricians year after year after year. It makes it easy as I train them on the way I want things done once (ie. circuit labeling, patch panel layout etc), and it is always done that way from that point forward. These guys may not be the cheapest in town but they are highly skilled and well trained techs and electricians. On the LV side, they use quality Cat6 cabling and provide a LIFETIME warranty on the wiring plant. In addition, they fully certify (with a very expensive Fluke device), the entire wiring plant prior to completion. In summary, I highly recommend PowerLink.
