Pond was professional from start to finish.  They came out promptly for an estimate and provided one promptly.  They were reasonably priced (two other estimates were higher for identical skylights, and companies were not as professional in getting the estimates completed).  They showed up on time (actually early), workers were courteous and responsive to my questions).  The work was done very well.  I would use them again and highly recommend them to others.

Very professional company to work with.  The estimate was higher than some other companies, though only by about 10% or so.  The estimator seemed very knowledgeable and very low pressure.  The actual installation for the roof took one long day, the gutters another half day or so.  The crew was very professional and worked hard.  They were careful to cover plantings - no damage at all to the plants.  They were very good about cleaning up afterwards - saw them going around at least three times picking up small pieces of the old roof.  

Overall a good experience.  The roof looks great, we have had no issues with it at all.  Highly recommend the company.

The salespeople are very professional and don't pressure you in any way. They are very honest, straightforward and are very good at their jobs. I was really impressed with how much they helped me work with my insurance company, who was being hard to deal with. They are very professional and very punctual.

They did a great job and were professional and on time and got the job done in one day. They answered all of my questions and gave me a full disclosure on their timeframe.

Although we were not experiencing any problems, we wanted to get an assessment of our 17 year-old roof.  We called Ponds Roofing and set up an appointment in January 2012.  An estimator came out and did a visual survey of the roof.  He said it was in good condition, but recommended some maintenance repair work around several vents.  We agreed that should be done and signed a contract and gave a deposit.  Ponds put us on their schedule and came out several weeks later and did the work.  We were very pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend them for roofing work.

The job went very well. The only glitch was when I came outside to look at the almost completed work and discovered my husband had told to them use white flashing around the outside of our brick chimney next to a charcoal colored roof. Ponds was virtually finished with the flashing and I was very upset with my husband about how it looked. The job foreman overheard me and immediately asked me if I wanted it changed to black. I did want it changed so they promptly ripped out the white flashing and replaced it with the black flashing at no additional cost. When I thanked him he replied that what was important was for us to be happy with their work. Also, their cleanup was impeccable. On a prior roofing job with another company, about 15 years ago, we were left with small pieces of shingle and multiple roofing nails all over the yard. I checked carefully after Ponds left and found absolutely no debris. Wonderful work!

He straightened out the gutter than had a dent in it. They fixed it on the spot and didn't charge me.

Several heavy rain storms created/revealed some trouble areas on my roof, leading to leaks inside the house.  I called several companies, Pond was responsive and gave a timely estimate and response time.  When the showed up to do the work, it started to rain so they had to reschedule.  They came back about one week later and completed the job.  The one complaint is I did not know exactly when they were coming back and I was not home when they did the work.  Anyway, I have not had any issues from my roof since.

This was a major job at Arlington Presbyterian Church. Three estimates were obtained. Ponds expertise, ability to find the problem wee outstanding. When the estimator was not sure about a leak he was able to bring in a team chief who was able to locate the problem.

Estimates were much lower the competitors. Work was done which was delayed because of rains. The flat roof was complicated since six I had to contract with AC people to deinstall and then reinstall six air handlers in coordination with Ponds. 

I would highly recommend them.

First phone call was professional and friendly.  Took approx. 2 weeks for rep to come to give us an estimate.  The rep, Shanti Smith, was personable, professional, thorough and answered all questions we had.  The only drawback to this review was that we had to wait 7 weeks before the job was done.  The 2-man crew came on time and did the job in one day.  Good job in cleaning up and much less noise than anticipated.  Initially the job was to be done on a Friday, but was cancelled because of weather.  However, they went out of their way and came on Saturday.  That was much appreciated.  Other than having to wait the 7 weeks, I was extremely satisfied with everything.

.Pond was a great company. They did a great job cleaning up and seemed to know what they were doing. Their price was competitive compared to other services.

Very well.  They are good and therefore busy, so it took them a while to get to the job.  Worth the wait.

From the first phone call everybody was extremely friendly and professional. It took 2 or 3 weeks till the estimator could come and look at the roof - the quote followed swiftly and was clearly itemized. Once deposit was paid it took long to get an appointment (thus the B in responsiveness) but with good quality work comes a waiting list I guess. Minh (spelling) the supervisor/manager came out to have a look at the sunroom roof since it was leaking heavier and heavier with each downpour. He applied a temporary fix to ensure that within the 6 or so weeks to the appointment the damage would be limited - a very nice touch! 
The workers arrived on time the day the work was scheduled and worked clean and fast. Minh their supervisor came out for final inspection. A couple of days later we had heavy rain and the sunroom roof was still leaking - less than initially but a leak is a leak. I called Minh back and he came out personally and worked several hours to ensure that all the joints and the skylight are tightly sealed. They told us that the gutters come with life time warranty and that they are a phone call away should dirt get into the system. Normally one would be skeptical with such statements but after the flexibility and quality drivenness Pond has displayed I have no doubts that they will deliver on the promise. It was a very smooth day for the installation.  There was minamal disruption of our daily routines.  The clean up was excellent and guarantee of future inspecitons and service was good as well.

I had several estimates done prior to contacting Pond Roofing
Ourl estimate was given by Mr. Patrick Readyhough in mid October.
Mr. Readyhough took the time to explain what would be done and why. what my options were for materials.
His inspection was very thorough and he found the cause of several on going leakage problems we had been having with the roof.and gutters.
I had quite a few questions about roofing in general and shingle types etc. all were answered promptly by Mr. Readyhough either by phone or email.
I was left with the impression that I was dealing with a professional operation.

Apparently there was quite a backlog of work for Pond roofing and the replacement sky lights had to be reordered so the roof replacement was not begun until just before Christmas.
Pond Roofing called, told me when the work would start and they were there at 7:30 the next morning.
Once the work started (they brought in a large crew) no time was wasted, they even worked until dark Christmas eve. then came back and finished on the 26th.
Every one that I had any contact with from Pond Roofing was approachable and polite.
They did a great job, left no mess and were very professional.
I would recommend them without hesitation both for price and workmanship.

Responded for estimate within 2 days of call.  Gave me onsite estimate with optuions for third solar tube. Time between acceptance and down payment on job was approximately 2 months, but I was forewarned.  Once job scheduled, everything went very smoothly and on time.

One cannot judge a roofer on what is most relevant - does the roof leak - until one has lived with it for a period of time, and my roof was just installed - finished this morning.  But based on my experience so far, Pond gets an A.  The estimator was thorough and at no cost to me and my wife and at a time before he knew whether I would choose his firm he caulked some areas that he thought might be giving us trouble.    The estimate was in line with other estimates we had gotten from well regarded users (We called those who had top ratings on both Angie's List and Washington Checkbook) and below the figure I have given above (because I am anticipating some additional charges for rotten wood that had to be replaced.)    The roof  replacement was scheduled sooner than I expected which given the time of year was most welcome, and people were prompt in showing up.  The foreman's English was not as good as I would have liked it, but we communicated without much difficulty, and he and the workers were pleasant to have around.   Seemed like a good crew.  So far as I could tell they did a thorough job (again it will take some years.)  What I could tell and what makes me feel good about the company apart from their promptness was that they did a meticulous job cleaning up, not just at the end but after each day they were here.  They even made sure to get down some debris that had landed in trees and although they did not pile up the lawn furniture in the back of the house (I did in preparation) they unpiled it without being asked.  In short to this point my entire experience with Pond is consistent with the high ratings others have given them.

Pond's was one of three estimates I got for a new roof. Their representative was the only one who took materials onto the roof during the estimate to try and make a temporary repair, free of charge, so there would be no more leakage until a new roof could be installed. Their price was mid-range, but their estimate was the most clear and their representative (a company vice president) the most professional  in his presentation, with no hard sell. Completely professional and courteous in every way as was the installation. I am totally satisfied with all aspects of this job, start to finish.

The estimator, Lonnie Mullins was superb!  He spent nearly one hour examining every option including the possibility that the leak could have come from condensation from an the a/c unit in an attic that drains on to that roof in the same area.  He appeared to be cautious and very experienced. 
The work went fine. The two repair men came out on a very cold and windy day in the middle of the day - essemingly a more difficult job than they anticipated.  As best as I could tell, they did an excellent job.  I had one previous estimate from a well-regarded company and I was pleased with that estimator at that time.  Even so, Mr. Mullis was far more exhaustive in his work than the other estimator. 

The things I appreciated were that every aspect went well. The person who took the call in the front end was responsive and helpful. They person who came out the review the project and give you an estimate, it was a person named Shanti, and he was excellent. He was very professional but was not trying to hard sell. He said what they could do and how much it would be. They did what they said they were going to do, which is what some of the people don’t do. They came, did the project and did it well, cleaned up and left. Their price was fair. I got other estimates and theirs wasn’t the cheapest, but I didn’t feel like I was being ripped off.

They showed up on time as scheduled, and it took them about an hour to do the work. They were fine and we had no problems at all. We will use them again if we need to.

Work was excellent in every respect.  Don't really have any do's and don'ts to suggest.
