Description of Work: They came out, were very professional and on time. Looked at the work I needed to be done and recommended another way of dealing with the problem. I was almost sorry that I could not use them since they were pleasant and honest about what I should be doing next. A great experience. Worth talking to them for amyn reasons.

Description of Work: i received quotes from several roofing companies and all were about the same range. i chose pond roofing because of other recommendations within my townhouse cluster in reston and their responsiveness. when the day came for the work to be done, the pond roofing team arrived 7am. before i knew it, tarps were laid in all directions and care was taken to cover all plants and plantings. i went to work. returned 5:30 to find the workers finishing on the roof and others hauling away debri to a dump truck. everything was picked up, hauled away and cleaned before it got dark. the workers swept my patio and raked the garden area after the tarp was removed and they went around with flash lights in the dark using a magnet to pick up any stray nails. i was very impressed with the hard work before, during and after the job. thank you for a job well done and my roof looks great.

 + -1 moreThe man who came out to give us an estimate was very professional and helpful. Since our roof is 17 years old, I asked him, for his best judgment of whether repair the bad section or replace the whole roof. While not offering any guarantee on our aging roof, he suggested that a repair of the buckled sections would be a reasonable path to take. Having just paid for a weeding and with one child still in college I trusted his advice and the repair was made on time at a fair price. The contractor returned all phone calls on a timely basis and even returned to paint the wood under our rusted chimney cap., as a courtesy, even though the contract only called for painting the metal only. We received a follow-up letter two weeks later thanking us for our business.
Description of Work: Our roof buckled near the gutter of the second story due to the heavy snow last year and ice dams forcing water up into our roof.

 + -1 moreThe workers arrived on time early in the morning and worked the whole day. I appreciated that because rain was forecast for the next day. They were extremely polite, professional, and addressed all my concerns. I'd certainly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable and reliable service. During the project, the senior managers were on hand which was also appreciated. They also called my attention to some defective mortar at the top of my chimney, and recommended an excellent mason who repaired it. I was extremely pleased with him also.
Description of Work: Pond Roofing removed my old shingles, some weathered wood, installed a new fan, and installed new wood and shingles in one day.

 + 0 moreWe've used Pond before - they are excellent. Way above other roofers (no pun) in our experience - and we've used three on this home. Their re-roofing of the garage was perfect and there have been no issues at all with the work. Regarding the various repairs we needed, Pond located the 'spots' and took care of the problems. When one area started to leak again, they honored their warranty without question and came out within 2 to 3 days and solved the issue. We'll always call Pond for any roofing or roof related task. They're great - courteous employees, excellent workmanship.
Description of Work: Most recently, they re-roofed the garage, also corrected faulty drip edges and incorrect flashing around a automatic fan opening. We had used them previously to repair 3 leaks - flat and sloped roofs- that other companies hadn't been able to find/repair.

The workers were very polite and eager to please. They worked diligently and cleaned up after the job. I couldn't tell they had ever been here except that I had a new roof. Overall a very positve experience.
Description of Work: Old shingles removed and replaced with new ones. Gutter screens installed. New skylight installed.

 + -1 moreThey were absolutely excellent and I think they are one of the highly rated roofers. They replaced the gutters and the rake board. They were good in scheduling it and they were punctual. I did have them to come back as it seemed there was a little bit of water leaking behind the gutter. They were very prompt and they promptly came back to address the problem I had. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them.

 + 0 moreI asked for an estimate for new roofing and gutters on my single family house. The company rep showed up on time and was very professional. After climbing on the roof and taking measurements, he willingly answered all my questions without appearing rushed and then wrote up the proposal on the spot (using his laptop) and discussed it with me. Price was competitive with other estimates I received. Only negative was that the company rep did not go into attic to check roof and soffits from inside and, as a result, did not offer an opinion on condition of sheathing or on adequacy of airflow through soffits. If he had done that, I probably would have used this company instead of a competitor.
