I had several conversations with the estimator regarding the work I wanted on my home. I need three repairs: (1) A shingle was coming off the roof where the roof meets the gutter; (2) some other shingles on the top of the house appeared to be sliding off of my sloped roof; and, (3) replace the soffit under a gutter that was rotting. When I originally received the contract, only #3 was listed. I emailed and called the estimator and requested that he add the other repairs to the contract. He did so. However, when the crew came to my house, they only fixed the rotting soffit (yet, they were here for five hours. I'm wondering what they did). The crew left without any of the shingles being repaired. I called Ponds and spoke with Minh. I told him the work was not performed as promised. I also emailed him pictures. Minh was fantastic. Within a few hours, he came to my house and fixed my roof himself. He was professional, courteous and had excellent follow through (he called to make sure I was happy with the job). He apologized for the miscommunication. Overall, I am happy with the work performed and the services received. I would use Ponds again. My only advice is to be very clear regarding the work you want done, and make sure what you want is in the contract.

They were great - they arrived and finished on time. The work has held up through many storms. I am very pleased. The only thing that is not so good is the wait to get the work done (see above). If you have an emergeny leaking roof, you really cannot wait for weeks to get the repair done.

I did interview / shopped around and received 3 bids. While Pond Roofing was not the cheapest (nor were they the most $$) I totally feel I received a great value with them. Shanti Smith did come out to my house and delivered an on the spot estimate of a new roof (with removal of the old roof) along with a new gutter system with their recommended gutter guard. I could not be happier. Shanti reviewed with me, in appropriate detail. what and how their roofing system works along with their gutter guards. The other companies I received bids from, were either far to arrogant or simply did not have the time to answer what I would consider basic questions. Spending $10K in this day in age is nothing to be sneezed at. An estimator needs more then 10 min to discuss the options and answer any questions. Shanti / Pond Roofing was the only company that actually climbed onto the roof. Wow! what a concept! In addition, I did go out on vacation while the roof was installed. My neighbors all kept a look out on what was going on. Pond Roofing did keep one of my friends up to date on the progress as i was going to be hard to reach. The clean up was excellent. Shanti did come out after everything was done to ensure there were no issues - which there were none. At this pt, the roof and the gutter systems has been installed for over a month. There are no issues and all seems to be working well. I will be needing to replace my windows and an exterior door in the next few years, and Pond Roofing will be at the top of the list to request a quote. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to any of my friends.... which I have already done.

The folks were very professional and what I really appreciated was it was low pressure. I knew what I needed and there was no pressure to upgrade to another type of shingle. The estimator climbed on the roof, answered my questions and left me with a solid estimate. Again I appreciated getting a price instead of gibberish about how they could reduce this price today if a committed. Unlike some they did not ask for any money up front. They came and did what they said they were going to do. They also let me know about a chimney issue and directed me to someone who could fix the chimney. A positive experience. I felt like a got good value for money expended and you don't always walk away from home repairs with that experience. A good group to work with.

Pond's bid was competitive -- not the lowest nor the highest. Work was slightly delayed for extremely hot weather, for which I certainly had no problem. The work was excellent; follow-up was timely, pleasant, and thoughtful.

They were neat, polite and responsive to my needs.

The estimate, work, and follow up were excellent. The estimate was very thoughtful. They noticed several issues in how the attic was venting and corrected them with properly sized exhaust fans and by reconfiguring some of of the bathroom exhaust fans. The work was done on-time, properly, and carefully. Tarps were laid out around the entire house and the cleanup was great. I didn't find any debris or nails anywhere around the house. During the follow-up, they double-checked all of the items that we discussed during the estimate. The roof looks great and there aren't any issues. Working with Pond was a very good experience.

We had a specific list of repairs to our roof provided by our home inspector, who happened to be a contractor himself. Our roof is not terribly old, and none of the repairs we needed were serious. The estimator, however, recommended replacing the roof. I asked for an additional estimate that covered only the needed repairs, and the estimate was triple what our home inspector had estimated -- and also triple what we paid to have it done by another qualified contractor. Pond has estimated work for us before, which we couldn't afford to have done at the time -- but that estimate I do believe was fair. I think there may be some inconsistency between estimates given by the company; or maybe we just had rotten luck this time.

Repair a leak in the roof that was showing up on the ceiling of our sun room. The leak was hard to find but the inspector found a few possible areas that should be corrected. He showed me where he suspected and we agreed on what should be done. the work was done on time and we have had no leaks since. They were very prompt in scheduling the appt and coming out to do the work. When they were done they cleaned up everything.

The came quickly when we called. They were good.

Very good job identifying cause of problem and providing explanation of how to repair. They explained that the shingles would be a slightly different color due to the existing shingles no longer being produced. Appreciated the company managing my expectations. As it was, the location of the repairs did not make it obvious. They were on time for the estimate and for the work. We had some questions and the office was able to answer to our satisfaction. This is a family owned business and they all pitch into work with the customer and ensure a favorable outcome. Very satisfied with the work and communication with the company.

It went so well - they showed up on time; did the work with no disturbance to me; they were outside and completed the work fast; on time and very well.

Pond Roofing did an excellent job - from start to finish - in replacing our roof and gutters. The arrived at the scheduled time and began working immediately. I was very concerned about the roofing work damaging the heating and cooling equipment in our attic. When the Pond team arrived, this equipment was the first thing they addressed. They quickly moved the duct work to safety. Within a short time, a supervisor came by the house to double-check that the heating/cooling equipment would not be harmed. My landscaping was carefully covered and my deck furniture and items were placed back from the house. The Pond team worked tirelessly, from 7AM until dark. Each evening they carefully cleaned up and removed all their equipment from our property. They worked quickly, confidently, and efficiently. It was evident that they were experienced professionals. The job was completed in 3 days (I had expected it would take 4 days). The yard and around the house was completely clean. I was amazed. Until now, I never thought about roofs, or how they looked, or how efficient they were. Our new Pond roof is beautiful! The job Pond Roofing did for us is "off the charts" in every category.

Pond came out, conducted an estimate, and completed the work within 4-6 weeks. I went on my roof before the estimate to determine what I thought was wrong and to see if there were any visible needed repairs. During the comprehensive estimate, the estimator spent a significant amount of time on the roof and recommended a few minor repairs. The work seems great and there were no issues. Additionally we had chimney caps installed and some minor repairs to the top of the roof. We recommend to everyone!

Ponds was very quick to respond to my request for an estimate. They completed the estimate when they said they would and were very polite. The only reason they were not selected was because we received a lower price from another company.

The service was really good, they did what they said they would do and they were on time. They had the best quote and the quality was good.

All work done by Pond for us was excellent. They gave us good technical advice about various options available but did not pressure us to buy additional features. They arrived on time, completed work promptly, and left our property neat and undamaged. We were very pleased with the results of their recommendation to install larger gutters and re-route the drain pipes from the second story -- the new gutters did a much better job of handling the water from the roof.

The crew came on time. They worked efficiently and quietly and left a very tidy work site.

Pond was professional from start to finish. They came out promptly for an estimate and provided one promptly. They were reasonably priced (two other estimates were higher for identical skylights, and companies were not as professional in getting the estimates completed). They showed up on time (actually early), workers were courteous and responsive to my questions). The work was done very well. I would use them again and highly recommend them to others.

Very professional company to work with. The estimate was higher than some other companies, though only by about 10% or so. The estimator seemed very knowledgeable and very low pressure. The actual installation for the roof took one long day, the gutters another half day or so. The crew was very professional and worked hard. They were careful to cover plantings - no damage at all to the plants. They were very good about cleaning up afterwards - saw them going around at least three times picking up small pieces of the old roof. Overall a good experience. The roof looks great, we have had no issues with it at all. Highly recommend the company.

The salespeople are very professional and don't pressure you in any way. They are very honest, straightforward and are very good at their jobs. I was really impressed with how much they helped me work with my insurance company, who was being hard to deal with. They are very professional and very punctual.

Estimate seemed complete and reasonable. Chose another contractor.

They did a great job and were professional and on time and got the job done in one day. They answered all of my questions and gave me a full disclosure on their timeframe.
