I was impressed with the detail of the inspection of the roof and attic before an estimate was given. They actually went up on the roof which mattered because some underlayment had to be replaced. There was a problem with the size of my skylights, which they were eager to work through. I had a continuing leak, which turned out to be from the siding installation and some missed caulking ( a different company) which they found for me and fixed anyway. I am very please with the end product!

Excellent company, good service quality. Post job completion, there were some small issues that I informed the company. They came out immediately and fixed the problem. Very responsive and prompt.

Took several months to start work, but like all roofing companies at the time they had a large backlog and informed of that fact before producing a contract.

Team Pond was very decent in price and putting a proposal together for us however we decided to go with another product and install that their firm did not offer. Would hire again for standard roofing job anytime.

I think (hope) I ended up with a good job but it wasn't without frustration. First off, they quoted me 8-10 weeks before they could start to work. I called around to several other roofers to see if they could start sooner, and I didn't get much better lead time. It was nearly 3 months before they started work. The roof repairs were pretty straightforward other than they forgot a couple of things on the "to do" list, and needed to be reminded. Gutters and downspouts were replaced all around the house. I had some issues with how they handled the downspouts on the ground end and discovered several high spots in the gutters where water puddled up and didn't reach the downspouts. They eventually came back with some additional parts and adjusted the pitch of the gutters (this time they tested them with buckets of water) and although I wasn't thrilled with the final job, it was probably the best I was going to get. One of the problems was that the original downspouts weren't really in the right place and they just put the new ones where the old ones were. I wish the estimator had recognized that and suggested that they re-position the new ones. That would have helped with the gutter pitch problem, among other things. He told me that it's their practice to put new downspouts where the old ones were so as not to leave unused holes in the siding or leave paint that didn't age to the same color as the rest of the house as a result of being in the shadow of the downspouts. Also, he told me that there might be additional wood that needed to be replaced when they started hanging the new gutters. This is standard roofing language, but generally the unplanned wood replacements are hidden under shingles. He could have done a better job of estimating the amount of wood that needed replacement - it was nearly $1000 above the estimate/contract. I might have been able to head off a couple of the problems if I could have discussed them with the work crew, but there wasn't anyone on the work crew who had a good command of English, so communication was difficult. I ended up with a couple of kludges for connecting the new downspouts with existing (and formerly connected to the old downspouts) buried drain pipes. I hope I don't need this sort of work done again, but now I know more about what might not go right so I might be able to avoid frustration and rework next time around. However, I think I'll look for another company rather than go with Pond again - for better or worse.

we got quotes from 3 companies. All prices were within a few hundred dollars of one another. Pond had great reviews here and on the Certainteed website. We scheduled the work with Pond due to the volume of excellent reviews and their responsiveness in the process. The project was bumped back several times due to weather (roofers can't work in the rain or high wind) and was completed about 3 months after the original target date. Communication on the schedule slippage could have been better, but the reasons for it were completely understandable. The crew that did the work was excellent. Every day they cleaned up the ample mess that roofing causes, and were always courteous and professional. Once the job was completed they did some minor fixes we requested (mainly removing bits of plastic that stuck to a shingle here and there. We have a medium sized house, but a very complicated roof with an octagonal turret. The finished roof looks great and we were delighted. If we needed this type of work done again we would not hesitate to go back to Pond and would recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof.

On August 8th, I set an appointment with Pond for August 29th. That was a long time to wait but I thought it was worth it based on the stellar reviews. I received a detailed quote for the repairs as well as a quote for a total replacement (which is not needed). I had concerns that the quote didn’t address my actual issue so I sought clarification. The quote went into detail about repairs to the garage roof around my chimney but the leak stains were on the ceiling under the main (which is several feet higher). Despite multiple calls and emails they have never responded to my question. Nearly a month has passed and we dodged one hurricane threat so I need to get this fixed. I guess I’ll be starting over with another company.

I was under the impression that I needed a new roof and requested a quote from Pond Roofing Co Inc. They were quick with responses and we easily scheduled an appointment. They came and went on top of the roof to inspect it - the first thing he told me was that my roof was still good for another 10 or so years and that I didn't need to replace it anytime soon. I appreciated his professionalism and integrity with providing me information I needed about my roof. Other contractors I sought quotes from didn't even go on the roof to check! Awesome. Pond had repaired parts of my roofing system after a tree fell on during a windstorm in 2012. After this winter's storms had me questioning whether a now thirteen-year-old roof was failing earlier than it should be, I arranged to have them inspect it for a quote. Their inspector arrived on time, inspected the roof thoroughly, and gave it a clean bill of health. He also told me signs of early roof failure, made recommendations on wind-resilient systems, and gave me an idea of the differences in costs.

We had 4 really old skylights that needed to be replaced. Everything went very smoothly and we were very happy with the service and the fact that the estimator didn't try to upsell us on anything. He even gave us a lower cost option to just replace the window and not the flashing. We'd definitely use them again.

They did a great job! Shanti Smith was the consultant we worked with on this project, and I cannot recommend him and the Pond Roofing team highly enough. I am actually writing this review nine years after we had the roof put on. One thing I'd like to highlight is the responsiveness of the Pond roofing people. Last fall, I saw a small trace of a water mark on our upstairs bathroom ceiling and called Pond to check for a leak. The expert who came out checked our attic as well as the roof area above the leak and pinpointed a nail that was letting drops of water in around it. He fixed the problem quickly and at no charge (as the roof is still under warranty.) There have been many storms over these past nine years, and our roof has held up extremely well, despite the messy oak trees that routinely batter it with fallen branches and acorns. We are in the middle of a week of heavy rain, and I just called Pond because I noticed a downspout that was draining improperly... probably got knocked out of alignment over the years by one of those branches. Shanti took my call and came out himself when he had a minute to check out the problem. He was able to fix the problem in a matter of minutes, which gives us great peace of mind as heavy rain continues to be predicted for tomorrow. Simply put, Pond Roofing does a great job putting on your roof, but an even more impressive job helping you maintain it.

Contacted Pond Roofing via messaging here on April 7th requesting an estimate and they respond April 8th or 9th saying they can come May 7th. I told them it is way too far and ended it there. However, I called a week later via phone and left a voice mail to see if they can come anytime since I figured I'm no rush to replace the roof, but they did not respond at all. Maybe they're busy which I understand, but at least return NEW customers call as a basic courtesy of business communications.

I got a referral to this company by someone I know. There was damage to my home after a bad wind storm. The phone number for this company said that an online service request needed to be filled out. I filled it out, waited a couple weeks, then filled it out again, and waited another week. Nobody got in contact with me. I don't care if they're busy - they could at least give a call.

Vendor on time, work satisfactory. Absolutely no problems. Would absolutely consider them when roof needs replacement.

Pond Roofing re-shingled our roof, replaced any rotten boards, replaced the skylight, added a new attic fan, and added baffles. I had three roofing companies provide estimates and Pond Roofing was the only company to go in the attic and on the roof to determine what was needed. This professionalism carried through to the day the roof was replaced. They were on-time, got done on-time, and cleaned everything up. I had no issues with any aspect of the installation. Two weeks later someone stopped by to walk through all that was done and to see if I had any questions. I could not have been more impressed with Pong Roofing. Then the wind storm at the beginning of March happened. The shingles did not have time to tack down and started to blow off on Friday morning. I sent an email with video to Pong Roofing and the owner called me within 30 minutes. He promised to have someone over there by Monday to fix the roof, no charge. But later that afternoon there were two guys on the roof replacing the missing shingles and manually pasted down the others. I could not be more impressed with the customer service. I would highly, highly recommend Pond Roofing.

Pond did an excellent job on with the roof on our home. When an emergency occurred with our rental home Pond responded to the emergency to prevent more damage. We feel the company went over and beyond under tough weather conditions and many other demands because we are a loyal customer. We found this company easy to use and communicate with. We don't write reviews, but felt this type of service needed to be acknowledged.

Everything went extremely well, from the initial inspection and estimate to the installation. I had used Pond previously for some roof repairs in the early 2000's and was so impressed with them then that I decided to use them for the new roof install. No high pressure sales tactics at all. When Shanti came out to inspect my roof back in 2016, I was told I had a few more years left on the roof. At that time he gave me an estimate and then honored that price a year later (including the discount Pond offered at that time) when I decided to go ahead with a new roof this year. They also provide you with a 15-year workmanship warranty above and beyond the warranty on the shingles. Everyone involved in the installation was great, and the cleanup process was amazing - the outside area looked perfect when the crew left. I highly recommend using this company.
