The work was done on time and clean up afterwards was complete. A year later we had ceiling isues. Black marks that appeared to be leaks appeared on the celing. We called Pond and they responded very quickly. They checked the roof and found no leaks. After careful inspection, however, they did correctly diagnose the problem. The issue was condensation between the cathedral ceiling and the roof. This occurred during an especially cold winter season. The marks had appeared directly over the dishwasher which was releasing steam during the cycle. The steam hitting the cold uninsulated roof was the problem. The rep from Pond, recommended an additional vent in the roof which was done at a very reasonable price. The problem was resolved and has never reoccured. Overall, I found Pond Roofing to be extremely professional and responsive. Our roof is well done and we have had no problems.

We had hail damage from a storm in May. Probably 80% of the neighborhood needed new roofs including the next-door neighbors on both sides. USAA sent an estimator and they denied the claim saying there was no damage other than cosmetic damage to the gutter covers and ridge vents. We thought is was a little odd that ours was the only one without damage. Called Pond and Shanti Smith came out. Very professional, very nice and very knowledgeable. He agreed that, for whatever reason, the roof did not need to be replaced. It may have been that the previous owner had replaced the original roof at some point. He spotted some other wear and tear items (flashing and vent collars) that needed to be replaced, but nothing urgent. It was entirely against their own interest to find no damage (we would have given them the job had it needed to be done) but he played it straight. We will hire them for the maintenance items and for the roof replacement when it needs it.

Installation went very well and felt the price was very good. My only complaint was the cleanup of the nails on my property was not very good. Pond roofing came out again to do a clean up but by that time I had to do the cleanup myself to prevent any flat tires or my kids stepping on a nail in the yard.

They were really great. They were excellent. They were very experienced. They knew exactly what they were doing. When they got up on the roof, they took pictures of stuff so they could explain the estimate. They showed me everything they were talking about. They actually had pictures of what they were talking about to explain the process. They showed me exactly what it was that needed to be repaired. They showed me some things that they suggested. They put things in order. They prioritized what I really needed to get done and the things that they recommended me having done while they were in the process of doing some other things. They were very good. They were very professional. They showed up on time when they said they were going to be there. They had all the materials. They did all the clean-up like they were supposed to do. They were very, very good.

I think they are extremely good. I have not been up on my roof because it is too steep and too high for me, but from all indications they did a good job. They were very timely and they fell within the insurance estimate. They did a good job. There were four men and it was a six day job. It was a big roof and a big job. They were just out here again to sort of do a walk-through. One of their people came out, checked the roof and said it looked good to him. They were very, very good. The president of the company came out the first day that his people showed up and introduced himself. He handed me his card and said if there was anything that does not seem right, troubles me or that I was concerned about not to hesitate to call. I would certainly recommend them to anybody. There are lots of companies that will undercut other companies, but they did not undercut anybody. They were right at what the estimate was going to be to do the roof the right way. You get what you pay for, I don't care what anybody says. We have actually used them once before years ago for a minor repair and they were likewise very good. They were not a penny lower or a penny higher than the insurance company estimate for the same roof, same shingles, etc. They were right in there. I think I got what I paid for which was a roof of the same quality based on the cost of materials and excellent workmanship on their part. It was not cheap. I am sure somebody could have done it cheaper, but I would not have gotten the same quality stuff and the same quality workmanship. They were very good. They gave me what I wanted and what I paid for. They spent a lot of time cleaning up, too, because that is a messy job. They did a good job cleaning up and collecting all the nails. We have already used them twice and we have owned this house for 16 years. They are not cheap. They were punctual.

From inspection and estimate, though roof replacement and clean up, extremely pleased with quality of work, honesty and friendliness of all the employees (from estimator to office to work site -- Lonnie, Quincy and the entire team working at our home). The owner was especially easy to work with. Patrick stopped by the work site a couple of times to check on job progress, answer our questions, and even provided his personal cell phone number if we had more questions.

Anthony and the Pond team were great! I received a confirmation email and photo of Anthony, the estimator so I'd know who to look for. Anthony showed up on time and performed a quick assessment identifying a nail that had worked loose from a shingle. Anthony quickly repaired the nail and pointed out other important information regarding the upkeep and lifespan of our roof. Overall, Pond and Anthony were very easy to work with and extremely professional. We'll keep them in mind for any future roofing needs and highly recommend Pond Roofing and Exteriors.

Not great. Someone came out promptly, and was very nice, but diagnosed the problem without a ladder. I told him every neighbor's gutter was fine, I go outside in storms to watch my neighbors' houses, but someone else a few years ago told me all my drip pans were wrong. He said he didn't know what a drip pan was, and told me all my gutters needed to be replaced with larger gutters. I called someone else, they came out the same day, actually went up on the roof and said all the drip edges were installed incorrectly, and showed me photos. I should have called them drip edges instead of drip pans, but I am not a roofing expert. I called Pond because of their Angie's rating. And they are probably fine for what they want to do. But my caution is not to follow their advice if they come without a ladder and can't go look at the roof. ...

It truly could not have gone better. The crew did a superlative job. Their attention to detail was excellent. When they took off the vinyl they discovered areas without plywood or wrapping, which they immediately showed us and got authorization to improve. They even noted the lack of insulation in one place and fixed that as well. They were able to follow a somewhat detailed design plan and their installation appears to be perfect. They were neat in the yard, timely every day, thorough, friendly, and efficient. The finished product is amazing-looking (don't get me started on the excellent caulking job, including the color match!). I think our house is safer, more protected, and certainly more beautiful. The neighbors have very pressing house envy! I can't say enough good things about Pond Roofing. They also did our roof a few years ago, which is why we went back to them for siding. We were even more pleased this time because we get to see and enjoy the results at eye level, every day.

The estimator came to the house and inspected the work to be done. He explained the work to be done, provided us with the best price and help get the scope of work approved by the HOA. Their work force came out as scheduled, did a very professional job and excellent work and clean up.

A +++ I called for an estimate and they showed up as scheduled, The price was reasonable and competitive. We schedule the work, the four man crew showed on time, had all the equipment needed. They were all skilled workers and did a great job. I highly recommend them. Just a nice, friendly, customer orientated company.

I called several companies on Angie's List. Pond Roofing was the only company to follow through on their appointment to meet me; assess the situation and provide an estimate. Steve Juntilla met me at our house on June 1, 2016, a week after our initial call. He arrived on time; assessed the situation; walked me through the repairs that were needed and provided an estimate the following day by email. At the time, they indicated that it would be about 3 weeks before they could make the repair. The repair was accomplished on June 20 by Thang--exactly as promised. Pond Roofing called to let me know Thang had time that afternoon to make the repair if it was convenient. I met him an hour later; and Thang was already set up; with the brake to fabricate the siding piece; ladder and other equipment necessary to get it installed. I was very impressed with Thang's knowledge and ability workign with the brake and working on a roof (by himself) He has 20 years of experience doing this type of work--and it showed. He completed the job in about an hour; reinforced the aluminum on the adjacent rake board and let me know of some issues with the brick chimney that should be addressed (at no additional charge) Very professional! My experience with Pond to date has been exceptional. I've contracted with them to do some additional work on my house in Reston and am looking forward to working with them.

I solicited 3 bids. Pond's representative was the only one who actually looked in the attic--although all 3 reps. were invited to do so. Pond installed my new roof promptly. They were not the least expensive, but were most professional & reliable. The roofers arrived when promised (as had the estimator), worked steadily for 12 hours, & did a thorough clean-up of all debris. The estimator/sales rep. returned after a few weeks--and heavy rains--to inspect the job & present the final invoice. My roof is clearly the best roof in my development now.

I cannot say enough good things about the guys from Pond. From the professionalism of the sales guy to the last guy there, cleaning up and making sure we were satisfied, this company gets an A plus from me. We got some lower bids, but I feel the product and service we got from Pond was exceptional, and well worth the small increase in expense. You don't replace your roof often and when you do, you should do it right. Pond did it right and fast! one day for the roof, one day for gutters which included a lot of woodwork (replacing some rotted boards). My lawn and my driveway were clean, all scrap was removed and my roof looks great.

The response to my request through Angie's list was immediate and professional. The estimator (Lonnie) arrived punctually, and delivered a clear estimate. The lead time to actual work was about four weeks--as indicated by Pond from the start. The workmen (Felipe and one colleague) arrived on time and conducted themselves in a professional manner. Felipe communicated well (including with pictures taken from the roof) and it was obvious that this crew was out to do a good job, not just a hasty one. I will not hesitate to contact this firm again for any future work.
