Description of Work: We have used Pond for many years (disclaimer: we knew Betsy Pond, the former owner, on a personal basis). The estimator is always on time, if not early, and often makes small repairs on the spot. If the problem is not the roof but, for example, caulking around an upstairs window, Pond will say so and not make unnecessary repairs. The repairs they have made, none of which were major, have been good. We had a rather significant issue recently. The new owner came and inspected thoroughly. Our roof is complicated and has unusual features. He referred us to a much large company that works on commercial as well as residential structures, saying that the work was beyond Pond's capability. We accepted the referral.

I went with Pond, though the cost was higher than the other estimates, they thoroughly explained what was involved and what was to be done, especially the flat roof replacement. I only thought the cost of 5ft of fascia was high though as this was an added expense once the issue was found. Overall-very recommended.

Description of Work: Pond's gave me an estimate to replace the gutters on my house. They were very prompt and courteous. Their estimate was the best of the three estimates I received. I have not yet had the work done but expect to do so in the future. Pond's also replace my roof a number of years ago and did an excellent job.

Description of Work: I called Pond Roofing because I had a leak coming from a vaulted ceiling. I had an idea that the "boots" and/or vent exhaust may be unsealed and leaking. My roof is 17 years old but had been told by a handyman that it still looked in good shape. Pond Roofing, Mr. Smith came out to look at my roof, inspect and evaluate. He personally replaced both of the "boots" on the roof PVC piping and sealed them for me. He also sealed around the vent and also told me that my roof had about two to three years life left. He did not charge me at all for doing this and was extremely polite and professional. I will call Pond's if I ever have a roofing issue again and will recommend them to all of my neighbors and friends. Mr. Smith made my day becuase my roof leak was getting worse, with minor water damage now that could get worse quickly with all of the rain this season. Instead of making me get on the schedule and wait for 8 weeks, he fixed my problems for me today - a really class company!

Description of Work: We requested an estimate to have a ridge vent reinstalled. We were given a quick and accurate estimate. Two other leading vendors failed to give us a timely and/or accurate estimate. Ponds Roofing came on time, completed the requested work, and answered all of our questions. They were a little more expansive than then the others, but they did a really good job and I trust them. We will use them again to do our roof when we need to have it replaced.

Description of Work: after the February wind storm had damaged my neighbors roofs, i used angies list to select a roofer to come check my roof. these guys showed up on time and inspected my roof free of charge. in contrast another roofer I had talked to not from angies list would only come inspect the roof for $475.
