Nu Look Roofing, Siding, and Windows

I think the installation process was fine. I asked the salesman to pick the roof color to match adjoining condos and the subidivision. Turns out that was a bust and now I have a roof that doesn't match. Since that point, I can't recommend Nu Look.

We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Nu Look. Patrick & Mike were hands down the most professional and friendly folks we had out to our home to discuss our roofing needs. After multiple estimates and frankly subpar service we were pleased at how detailed they were. Even Andrew was helpful in securing us a great price! Pat Fingles should give them all a raise!

The process was easy and straight forward. Michael, the sales agent, was knowledgeable, courtesy and helpful, and they gave a military discount!

Patrick and Sam were phenomenal. Both knew their product intimately and are great guys.

After entertaining 5 bids from a wide selection of vendors - small to large - NULook was clearly the best value, not the cheapest - but clearly competitive. The time they spent explaining the materials and process, as well as the warranty - fully backed by Owens Corning was essential to our selection of NU Look. Quite honestly you don’t know what you don’t know. Their execution was perfect, leading edge top of the line materials installed with precision and professional workmanship. Clean up of the massive tear off? I’m still hunting for the first nail or scrape from this total roof take off. I can not give a higher recommendation to the reader to select this company for your roofing needs. EXCELLENT experience, sales briefing to clean up! Most highly recommended- we have ZERO complaints start to finish!

We scheduled an estimate with them again to see if their "1/2 off..." promotion was any better than their first estimate, which seemed pretty high. We planned our day to be available to meet the estimator on Friday at 3:00 PM. We get a call from them at 7:00 AM saying they were cancelling the appointment because "they needed to go over the estimate...." the day before. I thought that this was why we scheduled an appointment with them in the first place. I guess they expect us to be at there beck and call, when it's convenient for them. They may think it's ok to cancel appointments, but I don't think that's how you win over someone's business.

Work was done well, on time, by a professional group. Project coordination between managers, workers and customer was excellent. One minor area of the installation may require a revisit after further inspection. All in all, a good job done well.

Great job! roof was replaced in one day with clean-up. Our neighbors had their roof replaced by another company. Took 2 days and they had to come back to do some rework. We had no problems. Would do business with Nu Look Home Design again.

Best Advice - Do not sign anything until you get other estimates and inspections.

Besides the slightly pressure-filled house call, I thoroughly enjoyed the quality work and customer service they provided. Once contract was signed, work was done within three weeks. The new roof looks amazing and we are worry-free about future leaks.

Work was done quickly in spite of several rainy days. The finished work is beautiful and Nu Look Home Design thoroughly cleaned up after completion.

Their two salesmen were polite and knowledgeable. All preliminary details were handled professionally. Actual roof replacement went smoothly with our being informed every step of the way. A crew of 7-8 roofers completed the job in one day. Every bit of debris was carefully removed leaving the site exactly as they found it. The price was high but they delivered what we agreed upon and we are well satisfied.

Nu Look Home did a great job of re roofing and installing peak vents for us. The job went rapidly and the roof and yard were left in wonderful shape. We later discovered a portion of the roof that was weak and they back and made it right at no charge.

My out building needs repairs due to age. Nu Look came out. gave an estimate for repairs on the out building and the house, which had a few issue spots. Habib came out and made a thorough presentation- he was never pushy. I agreed to the estimate given and signed a contract. Two days later I got a call from the lovely Selema stating that they had had a cancellation and would I like my roof installed on Monday, The call came on Thursday. Justin called to confirm and the crew arrived at 7 on Monday morning. They were polite, courteous and quite efficient. Due to a bit of rain , they were unable to complete all the work on Monday and returned on Tuesday to finish. They did a marvelous job of cleaning up and removing all debris. Both roofs look wonderful and I would most highly recommend Nu Look to anyone looking for home services. I anticipate using them for window and siding replacement in the near future.

I think they did a good job and their materials are good quality. The negotiations were a little stressful and their clean-up was good. They got it done in a day. I would use them again.

I have had both windows and siding done by NU Look. Their pricing, quality and installation are excellent. Once you get past the hard sales tactic. But I must say their installation is superb.

They put a new roof on my home. It is a large home & a very slanted roof, in multiple locations. They had to replace several pieces of rotted wood. This was the first new roof for a 28 year old home. They also replaced one skylight with a really nice one, took out and covered over the other one, per our request and took out and covered over our attic exhaust that never worked. People don't like the door to door approach and their marketing gimmicks, but I spent my life in marketing and looked past that bull. I knew what a roof would cost me and the salesman did a good job of getting it to what we expected to pay, without us ever mentioning price. Roofing is no different than buying a car, they try to sell high...but you negotiate down. The salesman was not high pressure at all, in fact he never even asked us to buy, we prompted closure. The project manager was very nice, the other office staff worked with our stupid HOA, and the roofers were very nice, professional and cleaned up each day, as this was a 2 day job - 2 long days. Given I got a quality product and 20 hours of labor to install it, I'd say I got my moneys worth and will be able to sell the house in 10 years with a nearly new roof. Get past the sales tactics and you will like Nu Look. It is a tough market with lots of roofers out there, so they do what they think works. And...I just happened to be in the market for a new roof when the young boy came to my door with the flyer. Normally, I'd blow him off without a second glance. Guess that is why they do this.

Very good job, only a few extra sheets of plywood needed to be replaced at 60$ a sheet. The workers were very prompt and hard workers. Freq updates with management. The look of the roof is great. It is one of the better looking roofs around. My only minor complaint is the sales tactics are way to pushy. I felt like i was buying a new car. I am sure they lose people with those kind of tactics

I asked this contractor to send me a quote. Instead, they insisted that I be there, and now I know why. I got the hard sell and unfortunately, did not have the other estimates I had asked for yet. Like a fool, I fell for this hard sell instead of waiting for my other estimates to come in. I didnt know about the 3 day rescission period until it was too late. I threw 3200$ down the drain, as I could have gotten the same job done by a top rated roofer (Signature, as rated in Washington Consumer Checkbook) for 3200 less. I was told, and quot;if you dont take this deal now (friday), this price will not be available on Monday. But both before and after, I kept hearing their commercials on radio... and quot;we have dropped our prices 40%, yes, even 50% to meet our competitorsand quot;. This was the worst and most costly financial decision I have ever made in my life. Buyer beware - beware of slick commercials, beware of the hard sell. Have other estimates in your hand before asking NuLook to come out and give theirs.

It was fine but I would rate them low on sale tactics. I found some comments related to the comments I gave. There were issues with their price but they use quality materials and workmanship. The price is really questionable.

Excellent home improvement transaction. We got exactly what we ordered and paid for. The salesman was friendly and not pushy and provided us a solid education on the products before we finalized what we wanted. The company walks you through the whole process from start to finish and follows up after install to make sure you are completely satisfied.
