NM Seal Bros LLC

I used the Angie's List coupon to get my driveway sealed and cracks filled in early October 2017. The coupon is incorrect in one area. It states: "$60 would be the maximum total charge for crack filling in this offer, however smaller and lessor cracks could be less than $60 total". But upon arrival, one of the brothers said that $60 is the *minimum* it would cost to seal cracks. I read the coupon again, showed it to them, and after a somewhat heated discussion, they realized that the coupon stated their services incorrectly and apologized to me. They then proceeded to seal the driveway and fill the cracks. They did not charge me for filling the cracks because of their mistake and I appreciate that. A week later and the Angie's List still reads the same, but I assume it will be changed soon. Leading up to the job, NM Seal Bros corresponded through text and e-mail and scheduling was not really a problem - about 1-2 weeks from first contact. As the name indicates, the company is owned and run by two brothers. They are the ones that came to my house to do the work. Because they specialize in driveway sealing and do their own work, I feel they do a better job than the other company I used a few years ago. Large companies might hire less experienced guys to drive a truck around and spread some seal coat. I feel NM seal bros takes a little more time and care to do the job right. Because of my experience and these factors, I highly recommend NM Seal Bros.

The brothers came out and did the work and themselves. Every one is very pleased with the pipe stem and I a very pleased with my driveway. They are very particular about the weather and want a dry day or to to seal the drive correctly. They are going to come back and fix a part at the end of the driveway that does not look right, but they will come back out later and fix it.

I responded to a coupon on Angie's list which offered seal coating with a small additional charge to fill cracks in the driveway. It took some time to settle on a date, but when the brothers arrived, they did a very thorough and professional job. Most often in the past, I had hired people who had come by soliciting business to do the job, and they were often sloppy with some smearing of the coating on the adjoining sidewalk and garage floor. In this case, the brothers did a thorough job of filling the cracks and were very careful to spread the coating evenly with close attention to the edges. In fact, I would say that this was this was the most professional sealing job that has been done on my driveway. The only complication was arranging the date. Having paid for the coupon, I hoped to pin down a date quickly so I could plan around it. I would suggest that they monitor their e-mail more closely and respond promptly to suggestions for dates. I would also suggest that they make sure the answering machine message for their cellphone actually works. For customers, I would suggest waiting for the answering machine beep and leave a message even if the answering phone message sound terribly garbled.

Looked great when he was finished and was done quickly as well.

They did a good job, but I couldn't give an A because they made a only a cursory attempt to put any extra effort into areas that could have used additional sealant.

I got an email confirming the order. Then a call confirming the work and the date. Angie's list gives you the option of three days. We agreed on one. They didn't show up or call. I called and asked where they were. They told me we had confirmed one of two days but not specifically one day. I told the I had confirmed the one day and the person on the phone just started talking over me. When I tried to respond they told me not to yell at them. I had raised my voice but just to explain that the email and phone call made me believe it was in fact the first day and when would they have told me it was the next day? The person on the phone asked me for my address and told me he would be contacting Angie's List to tell them to never let me order a service again. He was angry and would not confirm I could cancel and have my money back. It was quite intimidating. I was shocked.

Guys did awesome job. The guys seemed to be very busy around this time, although it took bit of time setting up sechedule for them to come in. they did superb job on the driveway. compare to my last guys who came, these guys took time to ensure driveway is evenly coated and sealed. Highly recommend these guys for your next job. I would definitely call these guys again in future. Guys were very responsive on email and the message. best if you give enough time for them to schedule your service. for the money paid, it is well worth the job.

Decided to try NM Seal Bros for my Driveway sealing this year. Unfortunately I ended up canceling my purchase since their lack of responsiveness. Purchased their deal on AL on June 1st, Asked to have the work done 6/2, 6/5 or 6/6. Promptly received an email on 6/2 asking if I would like their crack filling service for $60. A few emails went back and forth and I requested an actual cost for the crack refilling as their deal stated it could be up to $60 max Well that was the last I heard from them, sent a follow up email on 6/6 and another on 6/8. Didn't hear anything back. Its now 6/12 and still haven't heard back from them. At this point I have canceled the service through AL and gone with a different provider.

They were professional, very courteous and did a spectacular job. I would definitely hire them again.

The crew show up on schedule and immediately got to work. The work was professionally executed, and the work was quickly and thoroughly completed. I am confident I will not have problems in the future. And the work looks great. And I got a great price.

Excellent. On the scheduled day it rained so they rescheduled it and it rained again. A week later without any prompts (and good weather) they contacted me and finally were able to perform the job. Looks great!

The work was very professional. The price was amazing. Nick and Mike spent time with me afterwards and gave me valuable insights about the paving work and potential sections that I should be aware of. I would recommend them without reservation!

Quality was excellent, pricing was very good, and the guys were very courteous. Had trouble pinning them down on schedule, but that is minor. We did not park on the driveway for 2.5 months to allow for curing (the guys suggested 72 hours) and now park two cars in roughly the same spots (though we rotate them) every day. As such,we have had minimal if any "track" compression from the consistent weight. Had it sealed 6 months later

I had a great experience with this provider. The company responded to me when I emailed through Angie's List, gave me a quote for the work after coming out to inspect the driveway and kept to the time and day that they said they could do the job. They used a process for sealing the driveway that was more environmentally friendly than a different company had used several years ago and they fixed the hole in my driveway that had developed over time. I followed up because the repair they had done was noticeable and had some tiny cracks that were visible. Nick explained why that was and how it would go away over time as I sealed again. He also offered to come back in the next week to look at it and put additional sealant over it. Very responsive, and the guy who did the work was very professional and thorough.

We have a 1900+ sq ft driveway/parking area that was in need of asphalt sealing. The driveway is approximately 10 years old, in pretty good shape, and has been sealed twice before. I had used one of the larger names in asphalt sealing in the past, but was very disappointed the last time, as they applied right before a big rain and most of it washed off the driveway. Based on the very high marks NM Seal Bros. received in Angie's List, I called them to get a quote. One of the two brothers picked up the call right away, took my information and told me he would get back to me in a couple of days with a quote. On the third business day after my initial call, I was called back with a very reasonable $150 quote. I explained that I would like some additional sand, as our driveway is quite steep and tends to get slippery when it rains while the sealant is still relatively new. He told me it would cost an additional $30 to accommodate the request. Based on previous amounts we have paid for asphalt sealing, I found this quote quite reasonable. I asked about scheduling the work and was told it could be scheduled in the next week. I suggested a day nine business days out, as it worked best with my schedule. I was told that it was "no problem" and we were scheduled. On the appointed day, around noon, they had not arrived and I had not heard from them. So I called to confirm that we were still on the schedule. Again, the call was picked up right away. I was told that we were on the schedule for later in the afternoon and that he had called us the day before to remind us of the appointment. I asked if he left a message, as we were in and out of the house the previous day. He told me he had not left a message - my suggestion is that a short message be left just to improve the communication process. He informed me that his best estimate would be around 3pm that afternoon. They arrived at 3:45pm and apologized for being late - they had to pick up additional material for our job. Given that he told me "around 3pm," I couldn't hold the 45 minutes against them and consider them timely. The two brothers got right to work. One nice touch compared to our previous experience is that they used a string trimmer to edge the driveway/parking area prior to applying the sealant. They blew off the driveway/parking area - just as the other companies had. They applied the additional sand, as I had asked. They were careful and efficient. It took them approximately 45-50 minutes to complete the job. It looks great. The application looked thicker than previous applications - they explained that they use a polymer-based application versus a coal-tar sealant. They stated they use the polymer-based sealant because it is thicker, it doesn't smell (compared to the coal-tar application) and the coal-tar sealant has been banned in certain areas (if you Google coal tar sealants, you will see that, indeed, it has been banned due to an alleged link to health problems). In our interaction with the two brothers we found them to be professional, friendly and efficient. Their pricing is fair and they charged us exactly what I was quoted. I will not hesitate to use NM Seal Bros. in the future and would recommend them to anyone seeking quality asphalt sealing.

Very good! Although they had to come back to fix the repair due to the rain that day but it was redone professionally. Very accessible to reach them on phone or text. Nicks was very professional and kept his words when he can come to do the job. Would not hesitate to use them again. It is a rarity now a day to have such good service company with reasonable cost. Would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to my friends or neighbor.

The overall experience was good. I called the week before and they said they would need two days before they could give me a quote. The price quoted over the phone was $115. I asked them if that was the correct price over the phone and they said yes.They came out and did the work on the day they promised and it was good work. My only gripe is that they raised the cost by $20 without notifying me before continuing the work. The reason stated was that it was a bigger driveway/extended. I have no qualms about the overall price of $135, that is reasonable and inline with others. My gripe is that they didn't call me before proceeding, to which I would have agreed if they had. Supposedly they had checked out the driveway before quoting which was why they needed two days before providing a quote. I'm not sure if they physically came out or just did google maps. If they did google maps then yes the driveway had been extended as the picture is over 2 years old. As I stated they did do good work and hopefully in the future they will let a person know before doing the work and increasing the price.
