They did a great job at installing the blinds for us. I had no problems with them. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Next Day Blinds after a online order for blinds from another vendor was over a month late. I was able to quickly set up a home visit for an estimate. The estimator was puntual, and handed me a samples of blind materials. However he made 3 phone calls during a 15 minute visit. It was obvious that other bigger clients were much more important than I was. I made a selection from the samples, and was told that my selection was "discontinued". The estimator did measure, and "selected" a alternative product for me. I made a different selection from the sample products...he left me with an estimate, but I was never sure if it was for my second selection or for his.

They did a good job, but it took them three visits to do the jobs.

IF YOU DO NOT KEEP GOOD RECORDS AT HOME OF WHAT YOU PAID AND WHAT IS ACTUALLY DUE, THEN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The salesman in the store (Ken) was attentive and took my order. I returned the following day to order additional window treatments and set up a date for someone to come take measurements, and then again a couple of days later to add more window treatments to my order . The person doing the measurements was professional and fast, as were the installers. My issue comes with their billing procedures. I paid approximately 50% upfront and the final balance was due after installation. When I received my final bill they did not properly credit my account for the three payments I had made prior to installation. I phoned and spoke with Accounts Receivable. After some searching the employee told me that Next Day Blinds failed to credit one of my earlier payments to my account and said that he would correct this immediately. I also asked about the price discount I was due that was incorrect. I was told to call the store and speak with them directly as the A/R dept could not help me with this. I phoned the store where I placed my purchase and was informed of the amount that I was due a price discount credit for. The store employee told me he would contact A/R. I next received a PAST DUE bill from Next Day Blinds that still didn't properly credit my account for the price discount. I phoned A/R and was told that they did give me an additional credit. However I have yet to receive a corrected invoice. I asked the person in A/R to email me a corrected invoice which he did immediately. There is no excuse for a company of this size to be so inept with their billing procedures. I would not use them again just because they are so careless with their billing procedures. The only reason I knew I was not properly credited with my price discount is because I keep impeccable records and checked them against my final invoice.

From start to finish, NDB was outstanding. Matt Lee in the Tyson's Corner showroom was professional, competent, courteous. The measurement technician, Andy was excellent and made good suggestions. The installation team Mario and Nestor were courteous and got the job done quickly and carefully. The shutters are beautiful and high quality. This was the best home improvement experience we've ever had.

We picked up information from the NDB in Bowie, MD, then made the arrangements for measurement and installation at the Silver Spring (MD) location. All in all, the experience was great. We were able to take home as many samples of blinds that we wanted, in order to pick the colors that would look best in our house. The man who came to measure the windows was done within 30 minutes. The man who came to remove the old blinds and install the new ones was quick, efficient, and cleaned up after himself. When the measuring guy was running late, I received a phone call letting me know. The installer was apparently running late, but ended up showing up as expected. The new blinds look great!

I was pleased by the work that was done. The blinds look very nice. The service man that came to measure the windows did so very quickly. The installer came on time (actually a little early) and had the blinds installed very quickly. One of my windows is 107" wide and Next Day Blinds was able to provide one blind to cover the entire window. Other companies that I contacted were unable to make one wide shade and would have required me to have 2 or 3 blinds in the window. This alone is worth using the company.

They did an excellent job and I will continue to use them in future.

The entire process was wonderful. We began by reading literature and came up with some window measurement estimates which resulted in the cost estimate. We went to their store to look at the options, shades, etc., and the store manager was extremely helpful and brought up some suggestions we had not thought of. An employee came out for final measurements and the final cost was established. They came the end of April to install the one vertical blind and kitchen roman shade. The plantation shutters were installed about 3 weeks later. The installers were professional and quick to install. They explained use, maintenance, etc., and the experience was great. We plan to have the 3rd floor where the bedrooms are converted to plantation shutters as well next year. The best service ever. Thank you.

They are wonderful. I would recommend them to other people. I chose the wooden blinds and I think their quality is excellent. I love the new blinds, they are easy to clean and maintain. All of their blinds are hand-crafted. They called several times to confirm the color and exact specifications that I wanted. They have someone come out to measure beforehand and let you know if they have to vary from their original estimate.

Excellent, efficient, positive experience. The online appointment reservation system was easy and all employees who came into my home were professional and courteous. The whole experience was a breeze. I also really like that it is a local business and not a franchise.

We first ordered 1 blind to check quality and looks of it. Everything went fine. We then ordered the remaining blinds (about 7) online. They were delivered quickly. The quality was not great; 2 of the blinds had to be returned for repairs, as they were not hanging straight. On several others the end caps were missing. All of them were loose and I had to reattached them. Apparently there is no quality control before the blinds are being shipped. When the repaired blinds were delivered, the end caps were missing as well. We made 3 calls and 3 times ends caps were sent out, but every time they were the wrong color. They were not able to match the own colors! The whole process was very disappointing; we still need some blinds for several doors, but it definitely will not be with from next day blinds. ----------------------------------------- To update my previous review: Next Day Blinds did contact us after this report. They did make it right, thus I adjusted my report. We are about to order some more blinds, and will give it another shoot with Next Day Blinds.

They were excellent. Selection in the store was great and salesperson was extremely helpful. They installed them within a week (not really "next day"). I scheduled the installation at the store and then they e-mailed a reminder to me, with the technician's name. They called me 30 minutes before the technician arrived. When he arrived, he introduced himself (as per the e-mail) before he entered the house. He installed the blinds, quickly and efficiently. He instructed me about their operation. About 2 months later, I accidentally closed them incorrectly and pulled some of the fabric off the roller. I called their service depart. They returned within a few days, same notification as before. The technician said the blinds had to be repaired the shop. He took them with him but put up a temporary blind until they could return (within a few days) to reinstall. THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR REPAIR! My only negative comment: They are a bit pricey. But it's worth it for this kind of service!

In the showroom, shortly after opening time on a Saturday, we had no wait. A sales rep (Lynn) interviewed us briefly about what we needed and recommended a three-in-one blind (three independently operated blinds housed in one unit at the top); she allowed us to take a look at the types available, showed us available colors, etc.; she also explained the pricing (blinds plus a modest installation cost), the guarantee, and the scheduling system (one appt for measurement, another for installation, both scheduled at the time of ordering). Once we decided she was able to complete the order and provide scheduling information within a few minutes. On the measuring day, the service tech arrived right on time, and took no more than 15 minutes to complete the measurement and answer our questions about how the blinds would be installed. On installation day, again, the installer called to let us know he was running a bit late because of another job. Installation was very quick; he demonstrated that the blinds were working correctly, restated the warranty, and took away the old blinds with him.

Next Day Blinds was great about accommodating our schedule. We stopped in the store two days before we left on vacation and they were able to get someone in to measure before we left. The blinds were ready when we returned a week later and they installed them right away. Both all of the people we dealt with were efficient, punctual, friendly and professional. The blinds weren't cheap, but I think they are worth every penny. When we are ready to put blinds in the rest of the house we'll definitely go back to Next Day Blinds.

We selected 26 window blinds that looked close to the trim color. Our neighbors confirmed the color they also picked as the same. The color came in the Classic quality range. We had asked for and were promised an upgraded bottom, which normally is on the Premium line. After the blinds were installed, my wife thought the color didn't match, the bottoms were not the upgraded, and our neighbor indicated that their trim was not white as ours, but an off-white. I called NDB about the bottoms, and after all was said and done, they agreed to change colors, and upgrade our blinds to the Premium line at no cost. Needless to say, our marrige of 36 years is saved.

They did the whole job within about a week; it was very quick and we appreciated it. Their price was reasonable and they seemed to be very efficient. I think you get a good deal for your money. The first person that came out to measure the windows was very efficient and friendly, and she got the job done. We got the blinds within a couple of days and two guys came out to install them. They were in and out very quickly and we thought it was amazing. They had clearly done this a few times before.

Very pleased with in-home shopping consultant and installer. We used the location near the intersection of Georgia and Connecticut. The in-home shopping consultant arrived on time and listened to what we wanted. The blinds were installed a week later and the installer was great; apparently, our window frames didn't have the requisite 1/2 inch for inside installation, but he did a great job making it work. Would use them again.

I had used NDB before for 2 other windows in our home and had a good experience so when we decided to get blinds for the rest of the house we went to NDB. I was happy to find that the same salesman available to help us who had worked with us several years ago, unusual these days! He helped us with technical questions and guided us to the type of wood blinds and faux wood blinds that would both look good and work within our budget. Finish samples were readily available for us to take home and keep to make sure colors would work together. The schedule for measuring and installation was adhered to as originally planned and they even sent e-mails the day of the order and before both the measuring and installation dates as reminders as to when their people would arrive and what they were doing. Everything went without a hitch and the blinds are beautiful! They fit perfectly and the entire installation only took 45 minutes. We would definitely recommend them to others and use them again ourselves

It went fine. We liked their efficiency and we are happy with the product.

I called Next Day Blinds to get an estimate for 4 windows. I was having these windows replaced and wanted to have some nice blinds to compliment them. I was assigned "Barbara" who came out on 8/28, she was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me decide which looked best, (color, style, etc.). After a couple of price reductions I set-up an installation date, I explained that I was having windows installed and wanted the blinds to be installed the same day. She called the office to confirm if that day was available, which it was. I had a morning appointment for the window installation so she suggested that I schedule the afternoon. The installation went very smoothly and quickly. The installer called me to ask if he could come earlier which was perfect since the windows had just been put in.

Picking the designs out with the interior designer at the store took a while but part of that was me deciding. They give you paper blinds to put up in the interim but were kind of stingy giving them out. I just bought my house so there was nothing in there. When I went to the store the man there (not the pleasant experience with the woman I ordered from) seemed put out that I was asking for more binds. After spending $3000 on blinds, cut me some slack and give me some blinds. Installers and measurer were very professional and efficient.

We visited the Kingstown showroom (Alexandria, VA) The manager (Jasmattie Jones) was very helpful and knowlegeable in explaining the types of products available, pros & cons, etc. and carefully reviewed the order with me. At the time the order was placed, they made an apointment for both measuring and installing. The individual who did measurements was late, but always kept me informed by telephone. The shades were ready within a day or two. Installers were on time, polite, did a nice job and were able to answer all questions. We are very happy with the purchase.

I started out trying to get the blinds through Home Depot because they were so much cheaper, but they really don't know what they are doing there when it comes to blinds and have horrible customer service on the installation. I then decided instead to go with a blinds-only company to get better customer service, which I did. It cost me about $200 more than Home Depot, and they didn't have as many color options in the faux wood blinds, but it was worth it. Someone came to my house, recommended the right kind of blinds, did all the measurements, and scheduled the installation. She also gave me 10% of the purchase. The installer was very nice and fast. Did it in about 30 mns. They also have a great product and in-house service warranty (10 and 7 years respectively). The cons were that it took about two weeks from the measurement date to get the blinds installed because they did not have an earlier appointment. I was given a timeframe between 2-6 for the installation and the guy didn't show up until about 615pm. Made taking the afternoon off worthless. After he left, we noticed there was a problem with the cords that open the blinds on two of the windows and one of the blinds was warped. Since I didn't have the installer's number, and it was so late, I had to wait until the next day to contact the corporate office to fix the problem. They weren't able to send someone out to fix it for another 1.5 weeks, which is pretty frustrating since it was only a couple hours after they were initially installed. Given my experience was so horrific with Home Depot, however, I would recommend this company. If you have time on your hands (which I didn't) its very convenient because you don't have to leave the house at all. They are also pretty affordable for the quality and the warranty.
