Description of Work: The local Springfield/Alexandria VA Next Day Blinds Office (Kingstown Shopping Center) were professional and timely. Everything delivered as promised, when promised. I was satisfied with all aspects. I was willing to pay the price for the custom blinds, and what I got works very, very well.

She patiently walked around the house with me with color samples. The installer did a professional job and didn't take long at all. He cleaned up completely.

We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to purchase custom made blinds for 8 large windows and 2 medium size windows for $850's. The quality and workmanship is very good. I will be ordering more from NEXT DAY BLINDS for several more windows.

Description of Work: Company was very responsive to my needs. Provided samples and an original estimate for requested shades. Service rep measured windows on agreed upon date and time. Further, rep was cordial and offered ideas. Company recalculated price following professional measurement and discounted original price which allowed for a $50,00 advertised offer. Company followed up with a final written statement of account prior to installation.. On date of installation, someone from the office called my home to reaffirm approximate time of arrival. Overall, a satisfactory experience.

The entire process went very smoothly: from the expert advice by Cecilia Manner in the Herndon Showroom to the measurements and installation. I would like particularly to mention Cecilia's cheerful and professional advice and consultation which helped us to make our decision very swiftly.

Description of Work: Lynn Gooden is the Customer Representative who visited my home to talk with me about window treatments. Lynn is a consummate porfessional, in addition to being very kind and friendly. Lynn went out of her way to wait for me at my house as I was an hour late becasue my car broke down and had to be towed. Above and beyond the call of duty! Lynn knows her material and did an excellent job of listening to (not just "hearing") my desires and needs, and she made recommendations that rsponded to those desires and concerns. Lynn was vey fair and did not try to sell me more than I needed or wanted -- she respected my wishes rather than going for the bottom dollar. Lynn also did a thorough and careful job of measuring and noting some peculiar problems with the windows in my home (it is over 100 years old and has unusual windows and frames throughout). In sum, I enjoyed Lynn's visit and she did an excellent job. I highly recommend Lynn Gooden and Next Day Blinds. In the end, I ordered black-out shades for ten windows.

Description of Work: I needed window coverings for two rooms in my home so I finally made a Next Day Blinds' Shop At Home appointment online for that weekend. I booked an 8:30am appt and the consultant arrived at exactly that time. (maybe a minute or two early actually!) I thought I knew exactly what I wanted but after talking to him, he made some other recommendations based on the type of room, the light coming into room and what other coverings I had in the front of the house (and how it would look from the outside--which I hadn't really considered). I decided to go with the consultant's recommendations and am so happy that I did. The blinds/ shades were installed exactly one week later. I was told that the installer would arrive been 12 - 4p (and I was thinking, how am I ever going to get my errands done), but they also said offered to call me when the installer was 1/2 hr out from arriving---that was a huge help. The installer was professional, friendly and efficient--i think he was done with everything within 20 minutes. And he cleared away all the boxes and other trash (what a relief). I love my new blinds and shades--can't believe how easy (and painless) the process was and am glad that I listened to their recommendations.

Description of Work: Rick F. came to our home ( condo) senior building. We used in home shopping. He was excellent. If you do in home shopping ask for him to come to see you. He brought samples and colors in blind sizes so we had a good view in the room of what to order. He tried and called in to get us an appointment so the men would be done installing by 5 ,the rules in the condo, but that was a problem. i had to call , talk to a supervisor in customer service and the man came after 2 , but did finish in plenty of time. I found out later in the senior development Next Day Blinds only comes after 12-1. So be sure if your place has rules that you know the rules and set a time at the outset. Martin G. was very professional and fast at putting up the blinds. We love the blinds that next day blinds did for us.
