Description of Work: Looney & Sons repaired, restored and recovered a rocking chair. They picked up the chair during the stated time window and the same for delivery. I would use them again without hesitation and I have recommended them to others.

Description of Work: I went to their shop and asked for some help in choosing a fabric. The man was unfriendly and said to just look at the samples. When I called them a few weeks later to get a quote and schedule the work, I was told that there was a wait list to even schedule an appointment/quote of several weeks and then another 6-8 weeks for the work to be done. Although I heard that their workmanship is very good, my experience with them was not positive.

Description of Work: I think they would be fine if you know what you want before you go in. I needed to recover 6 dining room chairs. I just wanted to match fabric that I had as closely as possible. Once I went in once with a general description of the fabric I was looking for - and once with an actual chair - and both times they just pointed me towards thousands of material books and said "you'll have to look around". Price and time estimate to complete seemed comparable with others - but for someone like me who needed some assistance - they were frustrating to deal with. I didn't use them.
