Brian replaced door knob and patched cabinet wall efficiently. Medicine cabinet replacement took two visits due to size differential between new and old cabinets but he was able to fit new cabinets. A well done job.

It went fantastic. I thought I would need a whole new cabinet but Brian, who used to be a cabinet maker, fixed it perfectly saving me about 3 times compared with what they charged. Now it glides in and out silently. I trust Jum the Handyman service people with everything I would need. They are efficient and friendly. Always clean up and the price at $95 an hour is more than reasonable. Very professional.

Brian did excellent work on a somewhat difficult job. He was careful and patient, knowledgeable and friendly. I would ask for his services again in the future.

Everything went just as planned, on time and well done. Although their estimate was in the mid-range of estimates I received, I felt the work of the servicemen was very professional and well done, well worth the few extra bucks. All in all, I was very pleased and would definitely recommend this service. Kudos to Jose, Oscar and Leo who did fine work at our home.

We have used Jim the Handyman several times and the service and quality of work has been excellent. This experience was no exception.

Jim the Handyman's accounting staff contacted me asking for additional payment 11 days after the job was completed and the invoice paid in full. Turns out the handyman had done the addition incorrectly, and it took them nearly two weeks to figure it out. The estimate contained no total figure, instead was a list of line items. There were also problems with getting them to start the job: they sent one estimator. When I emailed back with a single question about the estimate, they insisted on sending out a second estimator, saying the first one was "inexperienced," so I had to take more time off work to start from scratch with a new estimator. After I got his estimate, I emailed the next day saying "I accept; contact me for next steps." After a week of hearing nothing, I contacted them again. They said my email must've gone into their spam filter. The work itself was done well in the 2 days they said it would take. But all the other mistakes -- especially coming back to me for more money long after the job was done and paid for -- should give pause to any potential customer.

Service was excellent from start to finish. David was very responsive to questions regarding my proposal and setting up appointment . Install date was on time. Work was completed by Igor and Milton. The result was a beautiful closet which blended with the rest of my finished basement. The look exceeded my expectations

Project went fantastically from start to finish. I received an appointment for an onsite estimate for the project within 24 hours of submitting an online request, a project proposal/estimate within one week of the submission, and the work was completed 10 days later. Igor, the lead handyman on the installation, was fantastic. We’re very happy with the work and will definitely contact them again for other projects.

Everything went extremely well. They will do the smaller projects that other companies won't handle. I had them to the house numerous times to complete all the work. They were very quick on coming out for an estimate and the work was scheduled quickly after I accepted the estimate. They were prompt on arriving for the work and it was done quickly and cleanly. All the work looks good. I have some additional projects coming up and I will call them back for that work too.

The carpenter (Hector) was proficient and professional. He unscrewed all the steps, pulled the rotted stringers, cut new ones from pressure treated lumber to fit, and reassembled everything. It looks like a quality job.

Mario and his assistant did a beautiful job on the repair of the drywall and matching the floor molding to the existing one. You can’t even tell that anything happened to the drywall. Mario even tried to camouflage a small pipe that extends a little beyond the drywall with paint Nd made it hardly noticeable. The only thing I would say is that they needed to get some plastic or cloths to drape over the furniture and maybe seal in the room they were working in from the rest of the house. There was a lot of drywall dust all over the house when they were done. This is only a minor issue and aside from this I was very happy with the work. They even finished faster than originally estimated. Highly recommend Mario for drywall repairs.

The work was meticulous and extremely well done. It required working near and around light fixtures and very tight spaces. The repair work was flawless. And Michael was courteous, professional, and efficient. We highly recommend the company.

Professionally completed - solved leak issue

We have normally done interior painting ourselves, but this was a big job (living room, hallway, bedroom) and since we also had some ceiling damage from a leak we decided to get it done for us. We had used Jim the Handyman for a couple jobs last year and were very satisfied with the work so called them again. They showed up early to do the estimate and we discussed a number of items to be priced so that could pick and choose if need be. We quickly got an estimate and agreed to getting the work done. It was supposed to be a week to a week and a half out from the Thursday estimate date but they called the next Sunday afternoon and said they could begin the job Tuesday (finishing Thursday). We said yes. Mike showed up within the 9-11 timeframe on Tuesday and got right to work.. He was the lead guy for the three days, directing others who came to help. Very impressive. Not only does he know everything about how to paint, he knows how to manage a job. And he is a pleasant and friendly guy on top of that. The crew prepped, painted, and cleaned up. They made sure the job was done right (no need to follow behind and check on their work - they do their own quality control). We supplied the paint and spent a day getting things off the wall and some things moved. We have a lot on our walls and so I spackled as things came down. We could have left it, especially the wall repair. Mike could immediately tell what had been done and went back and did it correctly. We probably would still take things off the wall to prep, but the rest we would leave to their crew. The areas of the ceiling that were damaged are back to looking perfect. We had some paint bubbles in one bathroom ceiling - also corrected - and with a better paint choice that Mike recommended. The new door and door frame were more of a challenge for the guy who came to do the work because the one jamb was a little out of plumb (our house was built in 1961), but he got it done. We are very pleased with the experience, the quality of the work, and extremely pleased with the finished result. Its like having a new home.

I had two doors, a storm door and French doors, that had slumped in their frames enough to make them really hard to close. I had to slam them shut. JTH have a guy named Neil who specializes in doors. He fixed the French doors after other handyman services were unable to do. Those doors hadn't closed correctly since soon after they were installed in 2006. Now they finally do. Neil also did a great job on the storm door. He also worked really fast and his bill was entirely reasonable.

CARLOS was excellent. All the work was done to perfection. Carlos was able to fix a gutter that was leaking by repositioning it. The work was completed in October but waited to write this review to make sure all the work held up through the weather and it has. Would definitely hire Jim the Handy Man again and request for Carlos.

We are very happy to have called Jim the Handyman to perform the necessary work. The door technician that was dispatched to perform the tasks is an individual named Neil. Not only was Neil prompt and very professional, he is a super friendly person. He is considered to be the magic man when it comes to all things related to doors. I really thought I was going to have to have some of the doors replaced. However, Neil was able to perform his magic and now the doors work perfect. Neil also provided some valuable tips about performing maintenance using simple products to ensure the doors last for a a long time. This was money well worth paying for;I would recommend them and hire them again.

Aaron did a fantastic job. He was able to change light bulbs, put up Christmas decorations and repaired my drywall.He was very efficient, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone and I will use him again.
