Description of Work: The company performed a number of jobs and all were completed in one day. They replaced 5 interior doors, replaced two bifold doors, installed baseboards in the laundry room, and replaced two old smoke alarms. The doors were for frames in an old house and had to be cut to fit. Jim and his assistant were professional and worked with a couple of adjustments that I had to make because the materials I was purchasing on my own had not yet been delivered. Description of Work: Came to give me a free estimate on a clothes dryer problem. He fixed it with a pair of pliers and didn't charge me. | He arrived on time, was very competent and I feel confident that I will call him with any future problem in my home.

I asked if he had time to take on the others--he did, and we are very pleased with the results, with his personality, and his charges. We will certainly call him again for handyman services. Description of Work: JIm replaced the drawer slides on 4 kitchen cabinets. He did a good job and when it took him less work than what he had estimated he reduce his charge. I have used Jim before and will continue to use him for handyman jobs as he does very good work at a fair and honest price.

Description of Work: Jim came to do a free estimate on a patio door. He was on time, friendly and professional. He suggested that the problem we were having might be solved by simply spraying WD40 in the locking mechanism, and if that didn't work then it would be best if we called a locksmith. I suspect many contractors would not have been that honest and forthcoming. Jim was very pleasant even though he basically came to our house for 3 minutes and did no work. We will absolutely be calling him again for other projects. By the way, the WD40 worked wonders.

Description of Work: Left all the worksites with the old material. Promised to return to improve the ceiling repair, but never did. Needed the technician to return to re-screen a sliding screen door. He did replace a door latch at no cost.

Description of Work: They did some work to repair rotted wood around our bay window. Came out for a quote, called for reminders, did a great job on repair and clean up. Quick and efficient, definitely happy with the work.

Description of Work: Our storm door was not closing totally. Also we were considering buying another storm door or trying to add to the insulation on the door we had. Jim came on the day of his apt. within 10 minutes of the time. He made a simple fix to the door so it closed better and said we didn't need more insulation or a new storm door as the insulation on our regular door was enough. He didn't charge us a cent. He was pleasant, extremely competent, and knowledgeable. I would use him again and also recommend him.
