Jeff Johnson

The review is not directly related to real estate services, but it does describe the service provided by a real estate agent. The following are the details of a friend's (not my) experience with Jeff Johnson. The Long: I found a Craigslist post from Jeff Johnson for the Eagles/Skins game. I contacted him and he confirmed that he was the season ticket holder. We agreed to meet to finalize the transaction and did just that. So some friends (that drove in from out-of-state specifically for the game) and I tailgated then we went to enter the stadium when our tickets would not scan. The ticket guys let us through anyway, but when we got our seats we noticed that they were already taken. I confirmed that they had the exact tickets we had. There was no place to sit so the ushers came by to see why we were standing. After explaining that there were duplicate tickets, they escorted both groups to guest services. After scanning both sets of tickets, the other group was told to return to their seats and my group was escorted outside the stadium to ticket services. The ladies from guest services asked me to contact the season ticket holder. I called Jeff and he answered the call. I explained what happened and gave him the phone number of the Redskins Ticket Services office. They remained on the phone for what seemed like forever. Ultimately, the lady at the window said that it doesn't look like we would be able to reenter the game because Jeff Johnson didn't pay for the tickets and wasn't going to pay over the phone. They said that he hadn't paid for the tickets that the Redskins already sent him. So the Redskins resold the tickets. [Not really sure why the Redskins would be sending tickets out that hadn't been completely paid for in full.] By this time it was the end of the 3rd quarter. As I walked away from the window, Jeff calls and apologizes for the bad tickets and agrees to refund the cost of the tickets. Since that day, after several attempts to meet, Jeff has not fulfilled any commitments to repay me the cost of the tickets. He has promised to meet and send a check several times but has failed to follow through. In fact, he has lied on several occasions throughout this ordeal. Therefore, I will not be purchasing anymore tickets from Jeff. Furthermore, I don't know if this is an indication of how he operates as a local Remax Premier real estate agent (Northern VA), but I will not be engaging in business with him in that arena as well. So I'm forced to take him to small claims court.
