Description of Work: Project involved rescreening a second-story screened porch. They did a SUPER job, removing old screening and reinstalling new screening. Since the porch is on the second-floor over a patio and professionally landscaped backyard, we were concerned about potential damage to plants and shrubs from ladders, walking, etc. But no problems! Not a single broken stem. We're delighted with the result, and would intend to use them for otherhome improvement projects in the future.

Description of Work: Called to get an estimate for some ceramic tile replacement in two bathrooms. Was told that they could not come to my house and do an estimate because it would be too expensive if they did not get the job. They would come out and do the work (which they had not seen and did not know how long it would take) for $100/hour plus materials and the time it would take them to then leave and pick up supplies after actually seeing the job. Since I was not interested in writing a blank check, I declined their "service". The person I talked to did not seem the least bit interested in doing a small ($1000 - $1200) job. He was only interested in large remodeling work, which did not really fit my definition of a "handyman".
