The overall experience was wonderful. They were courteous and prompt. They did the whole job in one day with no problems. They took everything away from the old door and left it spotless. The work was done a year ago and we have had no problems. They guarantee the work as well. I was very impressed with them and we are planning to have them do some window replacements in the future. I would refer them to others.

The serviceman came in the window of time predicted. He worked carefully and quickly, fixing the two problems in a short period of time.

When I called, the person that I talked to on the phone was very friendly. I was able to get an appointment for the next day with a 2 hour window (2-4pm). The person (Wayne) showed up about 2:10. He called to apologize to say that he was supposed to call me 30 minutes before but he was in front of the house. He was within the window so I had no issue about not being called prior. He checked everything out and was done in about 30 minutes. He was very thorough in explaining everything.

Excellent, installation went as promised.

The technician was friendly and experienced.

They did a great job. Cleaned up debris, carted away old door. Came back when I reported excessive squeaking and fixed it. Very pleasant to deal with.

All I can say is that the service that Gaithersburg provided me with was really great. I felt that the price, even though I don t exactly remember it, was excellent. Their quality of work was excellent also.

The garage door would not open on a Friday night. This was a new home we had just moved in less than a month ago. We have never had a garage opener, we had a manual door at our old house. Could not figure out why the door would only open 1/4 of an inch off the ground. Never thought to look overhead at the springs or knew what they were or supposed to look like. Called company Saturday morning and the tech came in two hours. He showed us the broken spring over the garage door and it seems so obvious to us then. It took less than an hour and he even replaced a burnt out bulb in the garage opener that we did not know about. The young man was very professional and definitely very knowledgeable. He worked as if he could do it in his sleep. Also took old parts and cleaned up afterwards. Got a 5% coupon from the phone book and used it. Was unaware that the company was also in Angie's list too.

Called to repair broken door spring. I was provided a temporary fix at no cost while I decided to replace the spring or the whole mechanism. I decided to replace the whole door and mechanism. I ordered door and was told it would take 3 weeks for door to come in. I called within three weeks and told that the door arrived and scheduled an appointment to install. The worker arrived when expected and completed the work in the 4hrs (as described). The worker was professional, courteous and responsive to my needs (I requested that he protect existing paint around the garage door opening). The warranty was explained, and told not to hesitate to call if a problem arose.

The technician came in within the time frame, I was given. The company had an earlier time available, but unfortunately, I was not available. He was very polite. He fixed the problem and also checked to make sure the other cable was still okay, at my request. Very professional. Will definitely use again, in the future.

They came out on the same day that they were called, there is a $50 charge for same day service. They came during the time they said they would. Julio was very polite. I was very happy to get service on the day I called and he was nice to help reprogram the remotes.

From estimate to installation, everything went smoothly. Both the estimator and installer were courteous and friendly, the garage door was ordered and installed in the time frame promised, and the installation was done quickly and professionally. I have no complaints.

Overall it went very well. While I expected them to arrive around 9:00 a.m. and didn't get there until 9:45 (which normally wouldn't bother me but I had explained that I had an appointment at 11 and if they couldn't come, then we would find another day/time). So that made me nervous. However, once Ryan came he was very nice and very knowledgeable and probably had not been made aware of my time constraint. He also had a great attitude about the freezing cold. It took only about 1/2 hr. to lube and adjust springs an tension. It works very nicely now, much smoother and quieter than even before it stopped work. I would definitely call them again.

They were able to send someone out the day after I called. The mechanic arrived on time, and was polite and professional. The door is functioning just fine, and both doors operate a lot quieter. :) Overall, I am very happy with the work they did and would definitely use Gaithersburg Garage Doors again.

Everything went very smoothly. I contacted them based on many reviews here on Angie's List. They ordered the door panel for me, which took about six weeks to arrive (it was a very large item). As soon as it arrived, they called to schedule an installation. The installer was very knowledgeable, and was able to make special allowances for slight curvature of the concrete garage floor. Work was completed on time and on budget, and they even did a little preventative maintenance without asking!

Great price compared to similar work done by other companies in the past. Work was done quickly and well.

Experience started on a Saturday morning when we discovered our broken garage door spring. We are well out of their normal service area but they came out immediately to inspect the damage and provide us options. The installer did a great job of giving us clear and concise descriptions of the pluses and minuses of each option. We decided to opt for the temporary repair and order a new door. New door was delivered installed within expected time frame. The installers went above and beyond by replacing some trim and weather striping at no additional cost. We were very pleased with the service.
