They were able to get the work done very quickly and did an absolutely beautiful job.

We went to the storefront to look at samples. We scheduled an estimate with Mike within a week after. Mike allowed us to take samples home with us. He was very knowledgeable about the various types of carpet that would work or not in our home with two cats. The carpet was installed within three weeks of the initial estimate. The work was well done and the installers were very punctual and cleaned up the area well. My only complaint is that I had to call to find out when the installation was scheduled even though I had been told I would be contacted when the carpet was available. Also, I received a call the day before asking what time they were suppose to arrive. However, these are minor complaints compared to the work that was completed and the customer service in general.

This was a great experience. I was nervous to start this process due to the cost I knew I would incur but it was definintely worth it. Both Mike and Kevin were a great help in picking out the kind of carpeting I was looking for as well as matching our existing hardwood floor in the hallway. They and their crews were always prompt and efficient. Both crews were very friendly and one even apologized for being 10 min late! Wish all companies were that efficient! I always felt comfortable with them in the house and they took care to clean up when they were through. The house looks amazing and I can't wait to move in this weekend!

I called Matt about installing carpet to match the carpet that we had installed from a different company about 6 months prior. He came over to measure and look at the carpet we had. He wasn't sure if he could match it, but went back to the office and thoroughly searched for a match. He was able to find the exact match. It was ordered and installed within 2 weeks of our original call. He also had his crew re-tack a section of preexisting carpet that was pulled up to make room for a cork floor. We are very happy with the match and the service we received from Fairfax Floors.

Instillation went well. Workers punctual and friendly. Job took almost 3 hours and when completed, they said goodbye and left. I didn't have enough time to inspect job and give them feedback.

My experience with them was quite excellent. We selected the floor. We selected the carpet. They called within a couple of weeks. They were perfectly fine with adjusting the time. They told us in advance that we would have to move the fish tank.

Matt returned my phone call requesting an estimate promptly. He recommended the flooring based on my specific needs. Matt loaned out sample tiles and never pressured me to make a decision or to set a date. The work crew, although arriving about an hour later than expected, completed their work promptly. I was told to expect the job to take two days. The crew worked nonstop (not even taking bathroom breaks) and finished the project in one day.

The workmen not only did a good job, but also managed to move a very heavy home-gym contraption without taking it apart. When I later noticed that a little caulking was missing, somebody came right away to fix it. A very pleasant experience.

Great! Everyone was very nice, and the installers did a wonderful job -- I couldn't believe that they did two floors in the time they did. It looks wonderful! I am very appreciative of their skill, hard work, and efficiency.

Installation went very smoothly. Arrived on time, worked neatly, efficiently and competently. Very pleased with the work and will likely turn to Fairfax Floors again for future carpeting needs. They made it easy for us.

There was no problems with anything. They did a wonderful job and left everything very neat and clean. After everything was done, there was an area that didn't fit together right from the master bedroom to the hallway. The kitchen flooring was perfect. I don't know if it was the flooring or the carpet that wasn't right because the pad could have been thicker than the carpet. They did give me a discount coupon but we have left it and are not fixing it.

It went well. The workers were prompt and efficient.

They accommodated our rushed request and were able to get the job done within a week of scheduling. We were moving and had to get the house ready for the new tenant. They cleaned up well. They missed 2 closets originally and came back the same day to correct that. Their price was about $500 less than other companies we looked into.

We were redoing a rental condo and preparing it for sale and we wanted a quick turn around time for the installation of a small upgrade of builder's grade carpeting. I found Fairfax Floors on Angie's list, called and talked to Kevin Bisbee. I told him what I wanted and that I needed it to be installed within a week. They were the only company who could provide what I wanted, at the price I wanted and within the time frame. Everyone else I had called previously were either too expensive or would take 2 weeks. The process was as simple as could be. I went into the store the next day, checked out the carpeting, and provided them with a detailed floor plan with exact and careful measurements. Kevin called me with a price estimate the next day and we set up the installation for four days later. The installers arrived on time and did an excellent job with the installation and the cleanup. The carpeting is very nice and the upgraded padding makes it even nicer. The best thing about the whole experience was how easy and accommodating they were to work with. I will go back to them for my future carpeting needs - for my own home, as well as for my rental properties.

We had some water damage in my basement. They were very nice. He was very thorough. He was professional. He was polite and friendly. He explained to me which carpet would be best in the basement. He helped us with the choosing of the carpet.

Mr. Madill was knowledgeable, helpful and patient in our selection of carpet and tile. The firm was flexible and cooperative in scheduling installation. The installation crews were timely, courteous, and efficient. We were impressed that when we had a question about carpet color during installation Mr. Madill made a trip to our home with samples in order to confirm that the product being installed was precisely what we had ordered. We are very satisfied with the result. We believe the price was very competitive, based on our comparison shopping before selecting Fairfax.

I was so happy with the work they did! The installer was very good. We had a slight problem with the metal/wood pieces you put on the edge of the flooring where two rooms meet, they didn't have the right one with them. The original person came back out and fixed it himself the next week. I was very pleased with their response to the little detail items. I now plan on having them come out in the near future to install carpeting for me as well.

I really appreciated the professionalism of Matt from our initial visit to their showroom, to our final selection of carpet and scheduling the install. We needed to go back and forth a few times on the color for the carpet but Matt continued to guide us with professionalism (even though I am sure he goes through this a lot). The installers showed up on time and were extremely careful with the install - we needed them to move 2 large pieces of furniture and had just had the room painted so were concerned about having to do touch ups (I hate to paint). Furniture was moved without concern and I am still looking for paint to touch up - so much for our worries. The carpet looks great. I would highly recommend Fairfax Floors!

They were very friendly when they were there working for me. They were very professional about the job. They had showed up on time to do the work for us.

Fairfax Floors did an excellent job. The salesman, Matt, was wonderful, not pushy, and very knowledgeable about the products. He came within the next day or two to measure for the job. The carpet runner arrived the next week (as Matt had informed me). The company then called to schedule the installation for the next week. The installers arrived on time and completed the job. The installers did a fantastic job (much better than the original runner installation; not done by this company). This job was very difficult as the top part of the stairway turns on an uneven curve. The installers were very careful and consulted with me regarding how the top steps should be carpeted. I am very, very pleased with the job and the outcome. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent job. We said we were interested in bamboo and Matt provided good advice for what type to use, particular points about the install (floating vs non, what to use for shoe molding, what to use on the stairs since the bamboo stair pieces are very expensive), etc. They were the only company that recommended storing the flooring in our house for a few days prior to the install so that it would match the temperature and humidity. All of this showed us that they really knew the product as opposed to other companies which said they did bamboo but didn't appear to have much experience with it. Job lasted 1/2 day more than expected (2 1/2 total), but inconvenience was minimal. The installers listened to us about which rooms we wanted completed first and did the best they could to accommodate the requests. They did a good job cleaning up. Only minor complaint was they didn't put down a cloth between outside door where they did their cutting and moving of supplies and location of the install, so floor in that area got very dirty. Still, they vacuumed and cleaned it up nicely when job was done.

Mike Madill was very helpful in steering us toward products that would meet our requirements, so that we did not have to waste time looking at everything in the showroom. There was some delay obtaining large size samples in the colors we were interested in, but that was the fault of the manufacturer. We received a free padding upgrade since we were Angie's List customers, and the re-stretching of existing carpet in one room was also complimentary. Mike even brought a contract to our home during a winter storm so that we would not have to go out, and switched our order to a different width carpet when it became clear that the original width would take too long to produce. Installation went very smoothly, and the entire large job was completed in one day. The crew was competent, efficient, polite, and respectful of our home and furnishings. We could not be more pleased with the finished product.

The installers were polite and worked diligently. They cleaned up afterwards. Matt called the next day to ask if everything went well. It was a good experience.

We picked out the carpeting in the Fairfax Floors showroom. We were impressed with the low-pressure sales environment. The salesperson (Michael Ran) was very helpful. He even distracted our two-year old while we deliberated. We scheduled the installation for approximately 4 weeks later (our choice because of other work being done in the house). When we contacted Fairfax two weeks later to request a slightly different date, they accommodated us. On the scheduled day of installation, the crew arrived exactly on time. They gave us an estimate for the length of time to complete the installation and completed everything in exactly that amount of time. We were very happy with the overall result.

Company promptly scheduled and completed work. They did an excellent job installing floors, and stairs, which essentially had to be rebuilt. They quickly responded to our request to touch-up a few small areas. They were careful when moving our furniture, and cleaned up when finished.
