Went well. Very professional, removed old Hot water heater, installed new hot water heater and cleaned up very quickly.

The service was ok. It was a bit of bait and switch in that they advertised a $1,200 heater install and then tacked on several hundred dollars for additional items and licensing fees. Also, they left a lot of excess solder on the pipe joints. A professional plumber would have cleaned that off. Overall a decent job though. I don't have any regrets

1. We called the Local Gas Company to come out check out natural gas leaking from our NEW Rheem hot water heater. 2. We called Rheem, they said they would send a new part by FEDEX, delivered by 10:30am next day. 3. Fairfax Electric called to confirm the Warranty Work Order from Rheem. We also discussed a service call fee of $175.00 if the part Rheem sent was not the problem. Communication was excellent...Everything was set to go... 4. Fairfax Electric was called when we got the part,and set up an install time. They came that same day. Fairfax was on time and my Wife could not say enough about the technician and his apprentice! They were very nice and explained everything. The thermostat part was the problem so there was no charge. We are very happy with Fairfax Electric and Rheem!

Big Deal 50 Gallon Gas Water Heater Replacement + Drip Pan, New Valve, Expansion Tank, Mixing Valve Collin and his college did an excellent job. They laid dripcloth down on the carpet and stairs. They efficiently and effectively removed the old tank and installed a new tank in about 90 minutes. Their attention to detail was superb and the final install of the new gas water heater went very well. I would definitely use these guys again. Thanks!

It went well. They were on time and they did it in the amount of time that they quoted. They cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

I called Home Depot to get a price on a new hot water heater. I received a call from Fairfax Electric Plumbing and Gas an hour later. The person I spoke with over the phone spent 10 minutes explaining the features of the hot water heater and the installation of the heater. The installers arrived the next day on schedule and installed a Rheem Platinum 12 year water heater. The installers were very professional and did a great job of removing the old heater and installing the new heater. The price of the water heater was $500 less than the quote that I was given by the company that services my HVAC system, and their quote was for a 6 year heater.

Everything went well. The only problem was getting the paperwork for the gas inspection. I had to call twice.

In recent months the hot water pressure has been extremely low when more than one hot water faucet was in use. No issues with cold water pressure when more than one faucet in use. Our 80 gallon electric water heater had been drained several times which resolved the issue for a short period of time but the problem returns. I have had two different plumbers check the water heater and they also drained it and said the elements are fine. I contacted several plumbing companies and all but Fairfax Electric, Plumbing & Gas told me the water heater needed to be replaced. When I solicited a quote from Fairfax Electric, Plumbing & Gas on their website Lori Smith sent me an email later that same day and offered a possible cause (calcification of the heat trap nipple ball that floated up and down inside the fitting/flapper) and solution (replacement of the heat trap nipple). She felt this was likely the cause of the low hot water pressure. After corresponding with her via email over several days I decided to go ahead with the heat trap nipple replacement. The scheduler contacted me, took my credit card information, and scheduled my appointment based on my availability. The plumbers/techs (Ian and Brandon) called 30 minutes prior to arrival on the scheduled date. When they arrived they explained everything they planned to do as well as alternate courses of action if calcification was not the cause. Turns out calcification of the cold water pipe leading into the water heater was the culprit. However, no amount of force could remove the nipple on the cold water side of the water heater. Ian explained the choices I had and I gave the go ahead for a replacement. They also stated since 80 gallon electric water heaters are no longer made they laid out the choices I had. Although Rheem makes an 80 gallon electric water heater (Marathon series) the size of it would not fit through the doorway where the existing water heater was located. So, I went ahead with a Rheem 50 gallon (Performance Platinum) with a 12 year warranty. Within an hour they returned with the new water heater and proceeded with the installation. I really appreciated the care they took to get it installed and ensuring that the hot water pressure issues I experienced previously were resolved. I would use them again and highly recommend them to friends and family.

They did something that they should not have done but I think they were doing wat they thought was right. They were very prompt and professional as far as getting the unit installed. They were efficient and worked quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. It worked seamlessly the whole time. The only concerned I had was the instillation of the gas vent piping, it looks like it is was done to code and I understand there might be a question about but I have had no issues with it. I have not complaints and I think the price was little high.

Colin and his apprentice arrived within 30 minutes of when they said that they would. They told me what they were going to do and then they did it. Theyu removed the old, leaking hot water heater qjuickly and they moved it up the stairs and out of the door with absolute precision and no glitches. The installation of the new hot water heater went quickly, efficiently, and correctly with no fuss and no muss. These guys are real professionals. When I called and spoke to Gina she very candidly told me that it would be difficult and unlikely that they could come the next day after 1:00pm I explained that it was difficult for me to take time away from work and I asked that if at all possible and if someting opened to please do all that she could to accommodate my schedule. She asked me to call back the next day as I left the office for a previously schedule appointment and she would see what she could arrange. When I called I was told by Gina that one of their installers would be nearby and she went ahead and scheduled me in. What amazing service!!! From start to finish this company is one of the best I've done business with recently. I will definitely use them again in the futrure and wold heartily recommend them to all of my friends. They are TOP DRAWER!!!

Wow! Very pofessional, from communicating with me late night to completing the water heater replacement the next day. They made sure that our carpet and floor remained clean throughout the work. Both guys arrived on time and did an amazing job, within 2 hours they were done. They cleaned the floor and explained everything very well. We are very happy with the service and will definitely use them again and recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Thank you guys!!!

I purchased the big deal at $1250 for replacing the old water heater. They responded my online request the same day and called me the next day to finalize everything. The technicians arrived on time, and performed the service in less than 2 hours, and cleaned up everything after the work was done. I am very satisfied.

They were prompt, professional, and courteous. The lead tech explained everything so I could understand, and they were cautious with covering our carpeted steps to the basement to avoid damage. The work was done quickly and seems to be of high quality. If any compliant at all, the lead tech went a bit too far in providing service. When installing the PVC drain line from the drip pan, he noticed that my AC condensate PVC drain was not all glued together, so he took the liberty of gluing all the unglued sections. He didn't ask first, and didn't realize I had left them unglued on purpose for easier cleaning of the buildup that forms inside. While I did not complain because he had the intention of helping me out, I will now have to undo this effort by adding new unglued connections to this drain line. Overall, they were great though and the price was more than competitive.

Excellent service. Called on Friday. Water heater installed on Saturday. Mechanic Tony was very professional. Job completed in less than 2 hours. Used drop cloths to prevent damage to rugs and floor. Would use them again.

They offered to refund the money we paid and they did.

Company was responsive and flexible in setting up a date/time for our water heater install. Prior to install, the company answered all questions and resolved all of our concerns. The company arrived and provided the services previously negotiated in a timely and professional manner. No surprises and all charges/actions were clearly explained in advance. Fairfax Electric, Plumbing and Gas came on time and installed the gas water heater and removed the old one. They worked efficiently and clean up nicely when they were completed. I would highly recommend them again.

In scheduling the appointment, FEPG was very thorough and easy to work with. We were purchasing a new home and they were very patient as they needed measurements but we couldn't get in the home to get them. Upon getting the measurements they needed, we were promptly scheduled for service to be completed two days later (especially a relief since our water heater was scheduled to die any day). They gave us a 3 hour window 9 -12 and the technician, Cameron I believe, arrived just before 11. He was very professional (removed his shoes at the door) and after assessing our water heater, showed me a valve that needed to be replaced. I particularly appreciated that he showed me where you could see the defect and explained why it would be a problem (only an 80.00 fix). Cameron finished in two hours or so and explained where our warranty information was and how I could turn the water heater on and off. I will definitely be referring them to friends and family.

Installation went smoothly and the work was completed on time.

The service provider was punctual and courteous . They discovered the existing venting system was not in good shape and not up to code and returned a second day to replace all pieces and get it to code. They were very professional. We highly recommend tis provider.

I contacted HD regarding water heater installation and Fairfax Electric, Plumbing &Gas called the same day. Tech was friendly, prompt and efficient. I was charged $90 to have an old valve replaced with a new quarter-turn valve. The tech did not wear shoe covers and did not put down tarps to protect the carpet from dirt or the utility room floor from solder. He did clean up as the job progressed, but did ask me for paper towels.
