We needed same day service and Expert Appliance Services was the only company I called that was available for the same day. I spoke with the owner on the phone and he showed up within the window he had given me, calling me 20 minutes before arriving. He found the problem within 5 minutes--a blown heating element--and fixed it within 30 minutes. He also used my shop vac to clean the inside of the dryer before finishing up. The price was very reasonable for same day service and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely call this company in the future for my appliance repairs.

First used Expert Appliance Services after reading Angie's List reviews. Found the reviews to be accurate -- absolute top notch response, service, professionalism, and cost. I wouldn't expect it every time, but the gentleman arrived about 45 minutes after we called. He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part with him, and was able to get the refrigerator working within about another 45 minutes. Used them again a couple of weeks later at another property. He showed up on time and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, this time the compressor was burned out, but there was the same level of service, punctuality, and cost as before. Will definitely be calling in the future.

The service tech fixed my broken dryer. He was extremely polite and was able to diagnose it as having a broken belt very quick. He fixed it quickly for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

The diagnosis did not make me happy..I had to get a new panel which was going to cost close to $500 including labor. Expert Appliance was very diligent about find the panel but as it turned out I could only order it through Sears with a 7 to 10 day wait time. Since the washer was 8 years old I elected to buy a new one. As far as cost..I thought to do a house call as well as do a diagnostic which required pulling the washer with water out from the wall and draining a real deal.

Sam was very professional and helpful. He knew exactly what was wrong with my dryer and was able to fix it in the same day! I would definitely hire Expert Appliance Service again.

Repair was done well, took about 1 hour to finish. Have had no problem with unit since repair.

I called in the morning and they had an opening same day that afternoon, arrived within the scheduled time, and fixed the dryer. My wife was there for the actual repair. She constantly complains but she was happy with both the job well done and the price. Her happiness in both of those categories simultaneously is nearly impossible. I have to give this guy 10's all the way across for this unbelievable achievement.

I couldn't ask for more. PJ set up an appointment for the next day. He arrived very promptly, located the problem quickly, and fixed it immediately. I have used this company various times, and each time PJ has provided outstanding service.

They were really great. Prompt, helpful, informative and they worked with me on the labor since I was doing two jobs at the same time. Through no fault of theirs, the technician had to come out several times and they still kept to their same quote. In addition, because I have an older fridge it was a LOT of work to get to the part that needed replacing. Again, they did not up their charge because of it. The technician, Sam, stayed on top of this and each time called to follow up with me to verify that the machines were working properly. I could not be happier.

Called and asked if he could come early, took about 15 mins to repair the issue. Had the necessary parts and completed the job without any issues.

Although the microwave could have been repaired, at the the advice of the technician, we decided to replace the unit, rather than spend the same amount repairing the existing one.

I noticed water under my fridge yesterday evening. Called Expert Appliance Services at 8am this morning. Was told they could have someone out to my house between Noon-3pm. I received a call around 11am informing me that the tech could be at my house in 30 minutes, which was great. I met him 30 minutes later (beat me to my house). I had given the model number over the phone, so he had all the parts on him. Two parts needed to be replaced. Job was done in less than 30 minutes. Tech couldn't of been nicer. Pricing was extremely fair and I used a coupon from a previous invoice. I highly recommend.

Great job. Repair man diagnosed leaky valve assembly and loose agitator housing. Was able to order and pick up valve same day and returned to complete repair. While replacing valve assembly, he noticed the washers in the hoses were disintegrating, and offered to replace the hoses for $40. Total bill with Angie's coupon was $270

Sam did an excellent job. He cleaned out the different tubes to help with appropriate drainage. He was very polite and helpful.

He did a great job on fixing the dishwasher but unfortunately after he was gone I noticed that he had moved the dishwasher slightly so it no longer was in its "nook" and if I opened the door it practically fell out. I had to pay someone else to come and fix that. He also told me I should wash my cabinets. That was offensive. Yeah they were a little dirty as I had been very ill for months, but that was embarrassing.

This company was very prompt in their response, and were able to send out a technician the same day. Sam was very honest, and told me the compressor wasn't working (running very hot), and he wasn't sure if he could fix it. He thought it might be a switch on the compressor, and replaced it. He told me that if the compressor itself was bad, I would need to replace the refrigerator. He told me to check the refrigerator in 3-4 hours to see if it was working. Unfortunately it wasn't. He came back to check it again--it still wasn't working--not the fault of the repair. It was determined that the compressor was bad. I was impressed that he refunded the money for the original repair, and only charged me for the service call. I would definitely hire this company again, based on their prompt response, willingness to follow up, and their integrity.

When I called to make an appointment, I was impressed that they asked not just who made it, but also the model and the year. I liked explained that P.J. explained what he was going to do to try and solve this problem. P.J. ended up having to open and clear the blower fan of a sock! Given that he had to disassemble and reassemble the dryer, thought the price was fair..

Came right over the day I called (Friday afternoon). He needed to order a part and called the day it came in and came right over to fix it. He even made sure he cleaned the dishwasher for me when he was finished.

The guy was really helpful- found the problem, ordered the piece, returned and fixed it.

Exactly as I had hoped! I sent an email requesting the repair/replacement on Sunday - got a prompt email response - and had the repair taken care of before noon on Monday! He was efficient and knowledgable - advised a brand change based on his experience installing over 400 kitchen disposals. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

I called in the morning and the technician was able to come out to do the job the same day. Once he saw what the problem was, he made phone calls to find a place that had the necessary part in stock. He left my house to drive from Fairfax to Alexandria, and returned and completed the job at the end of the day on a Friday evening. He was very professional, explained everything to me thoroughly, and finished the job promptly. This was my first time working with this company, and it won't be my last. I will definitely call Expert Appliance Services the next time I have an appliance that needs work.

Called Expert on the same morning, a Saturday, in case anybody was at the number. Answered immediately. I explained the issue and he said he could stop by that afternoon between one and two to look at it. Great. About 1:30 he called and said he would be there in 15 minutes, and he was. He looked at the machine, made some notes, copied down the model number, and said that he would research the needed parts on Sunday and call me back on Monday, but warned me that LG parts were not carried by any local suppliers and always took a long time to arrive. Monday morning he called. It would need four parts to fix it, all requiring special orders with undefined arrival dates, but totaling about $450! With the labor cost to install them, it was almost as much as the machine cost. He recommended buying a new machine, which I did the same day (a Maytag). I asked him to send me an invoice and I would pay him for his time, but he said that since he did not fix anything there would be no charge! I used these guys before on the previous washing machine, which they did fix at an extraordinarily low cost, but at the time told me that the 11 year old machine was on its last legs, When it did finally quit a few months later I bought this lousy LG because, at the time, it had very good ratings on the Home Depot website. I will DEFINITELY call these guys again for any appliance service.
