I was able to schedule the visit with one day's notice, all over email (great feature). Sam called to let me know he was coming, was on time and very professional and friendly. Work was completed in a timely fashion and while the news was not good (not worth repairing such an old washer) the service was excellent.

I called this morning because our dishwasher wasn't working. Over the phone, they were able to narrow down the problem and said they could send a technician over today. Sam (the technician) was wonderful! Within minutes he knew exactly that was wrong and was able to repair it on the spot. Sam was very professional and conscientious. I would highly recommend Sam and Expert Appliance Services and will definitely call them again the next time I have an appliance that needs repair.

Upon waking Monday morning we found a large water leak under the refrigerator flowing thru the kitchen floor and the ceiling in the rec-room. After turning off the water to the refrigerator we called Expert Appliance repair. We had used them before for needed repairs to our electric stove and were pleased with their work and professionalism. They said they would come between !2p and 3p Tuesday, the next day. About 12:10p Tuesday the technician called and said he would arrive in about 30 minutes. He did. In less than 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem and quoted a price of $225.00 to procure and replace the faulty valve. After finding he did not have the needed part, he said he could go to the wholesale distributor, buy the part, and return to finish the job in about an hour if that was satisfactory. We agreed. He returned in less than an hour, replaced the faulty valve, checked the operation of the new valve, cleaned the area and left in about 15 or 20 minutes. A very pleasant solution to a very stressful equipment failure.

I called Expert Appliance Services Monday afternoon and described problem. After a couple of questions provider diagnosed the problem and said he could order part and it would arrive Wed. or Thurs. I asked that he proceed. Provider called late afternoon on Wed. and said the part had arrived and he could complete the job that day if was convenient. I agreed and he arrived about 25 minutes later. On arrival he inspected the stove and suggested a cheaper solution, but I asked that he replace the burner. He did so. The replacement took about 30 minutes. He tested the repair, cleaned up and departed. Professional, prompt, competent. Will definitely use again.

He called a half hour ahead of time to let us know when he'd arrive. He took his shoes off. He explained what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem very, very quickly. He had the necessary part with him and fixed it on the spot. He was knowledgeable, polite and personable.

PJ replaced the icemaker and we were charged $166 for the labor and parts. Three more visits with no charge still did not correct the problem. He told us he could not figure out what was wrong and refunded the total amount. We ended up contacting Kitchen Aid and they extended our warranty and sent a certified repairman who also was puzzled by the problem, but eventually discovered after several tests and phone calls that the door was not closing properly so the switch was not working. It was off by a hair! Repairman repositioned the door and we now have ice.

Our gas oven stopped working although the top burners were working well. We called Expert Appliance Services to set up an appointment with them the very next day. They called 30 minutes prior to arriving so it was good to know someone was on their way and arriving on schedule. The technician was easy to talk and work with. He discovered the problem quickly and installed a new oven ignitor. We were happy with EAS and would definitely use them again!

Was able to diagnose and correct the problem with the refrigerator and freezer within 5 minutes of arrival. This is the third time we have used EAS to repair various appliances (dryer, refrigerator, etc)

Called at 5:30PM on a Friday with a clothes dryer that was making excessive noise. Got an appointment for 11AM on Saturday. Technician called ahead early and was there in minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair (he had all the necessary parts on the truck), charging a very reasonable rate. EXTRAORDINARY response.

They came back next day and discovered they needed a rivet gun to fix a piece that had totally worn off. I was afraid it wasn't worth it, but he said no problem. He left to do another call, picked up the rivet gun on his way back and got here after 5 pm to finish job. He cleaned it all up inside and out and relined felt on drum as well as replaced drum pulley and glide parts. It's so clean that it looks brand new and we can't even hear it running. No extra charge for the need to buy a rivet gun or come back, either. He did not push for me to repair it and he acknowledged that is was an old machine. I was afraid he couldn't get parts, but it was my choice based on repair price and his belief that it could be easily fixed (Internet confirmed it could be done easily, but parts were my biggest fear - he got them in 1 day). Tech got everything together and told me to run a load of "rags". We put in some old towels that are very heavy and it's humming away. He ppromised to call back next week to see how it was doing. Very pleased and would definitely use again if I had another appliance that I wasn't ready to replace. He said they don't advertise and rely on word of mouth, so I promised to post.

The technician quickly diagnosed the issue and quoted me a price. I asked about the price and he said it was $129 and it was the "Angies List Price" (some percentage off for Angies List customers) From what I could tell, it appeared to be a standard price for what amounted to about 15 minutes of his time from start to finish. I have no issue with the quality of the work or the speed at which it was done. However, when I asked REPEATEDLY after the work was finished what the ORIGINAL price would have been, he refused to answer and just said "don't worry about it." That's a pretty poor response and not what I'd expect - it felt more like I was haggling at some kind of flea market. Even on the bill, he refused to put the original price. The bill reads Price: $129 Discounted Price: $129 So either he's not really giving Angie's list customers a discount OR he just isn't giving his customers the courtesy of telling them the original price. Ultimately, choosing a technician to come into my home is as much about trust as it is about quality, and next time I believe we'll be choosing someone else.

It went very well. The technician came and examined my oven and ran several tests showing that it was working. They came at the specified time period and called ahead before arriving. They manage to visit the same day I called.

I had 2 other repair services that could not find the source of the leak. I called Expert Appliance Services based on the number of reviews and ratings on Angies List. They were prompt and stayed until the problem was found and through a wash cycle to ensure it was fixed. The problem was a clogged detergent or fabric softener dispersion valve that was not easily detected. I had a very good experience with Expert Appliance Svc.

Technician arrived on-time. He didn't have the parts on him, though made a call and placed the order, and then drove there and back to pick up parts and then finally install and fix. Very pleased! Washing machine works like new again.

Very professional, timely, efficient. Looked at both machines, asked some questions, gave us an assessment - the entire process was pain free and really nicely done. I really appreciated the effort and the honesty.

These guys appear to specialize in working on complex jobs and were comfortable working on my built in unit. They arrived as scheduled and fixed the problem after a different company misdiagnosed the problem. I will definitely use them again.

If Angie's List could give an A+++, I would give this company that grade! Sam was quickly verified the problem and started to work on changing out the mechanism. He let me know the price, which was very reasonable. Within the hour, problem fixed and washer reassembled. And is currently in use. Simply awesome!

The technician, Sam, was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He ran some tests on the oven and diagnosed the issue as a faulty oven sensor. He ordered the part and came within two days to replace the sensor. Sam also offered us a $39 credit on the repair, essentially making the diagnostic visit free. He was very respectful of our home, taking off his shoes, cleaning up after his work and was very personable. The oven works like new and I am very pleased with the work that was done. I likely could have ordered the replacement part myself for a bit cheaper (just looking online), but it was worth the additional cost to get the repair done so quickly. I will use them again.

Something simple that I could have fixed myself. I was looking for a bigger issue than it was... :)

Service was excellent, quick and responsive.

The washer door stopped latching closed at the beginning of the wash cycle. So we could not run a wash as the door would open at the slightest pressure. This was Sunday evening so we could not contact any repair service to get it fixed. The next day, Monday morning, I found several repair shops and of the 4 places I found here, Expert Appliance Services were the only shop that worked on Samsungs. From the short conversation we had over the phone, he got the right part, came to the house, and had it installed very quickly on the same day!. The service was done very professionally and we were very impressed with the promptness and quick turnaround. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. We will definitely use their services again.

He told me that the transmission had failed and he could not repair it. He said we need a new washing machine.

The service provided was excellent. The repairman (Sam) called to let us know when he would be at our house and arrived on time. Sam asked a few questions and found the problem. He took time to explained the reason why our dishwasher was leaking and how he would make the repair. I will definitely call Expert Appliance Services again when any of our appliances need repairs.

We had Sam to come to fix our dishwasher. He was able to come the same day we called. He did a great job and he was so polite and kind. It turned out to be the drain pump. He was very methodical and did everything thoroughly. We would use him again in a heartbeat.
