Technician came out and checked the washer thoroughly finding no problems with the spinning and assured me that if I heard anything, which I hadn't, to call him back because that would indicate that the bearings were going. I was charged for a service call which I happily paid for my peace of mind that my washer was still in good working order.

Stacked dryer on top of washer in a small space in a condo, stopped heating on Sunday. I called Expert Appliance Services on Monday and their technician, Sam, arrived precisely on time on Tuesday. He spent the next 1.5 hours diagnosing and repairing the problem, which was a faulty heating coil. To do this, he literally went above and beyond! With minimal assistance from me (the homeowner), he wedged himself into impossible spaces, at one point (after removing the drum), actually standing within the dryer to be able to access a back panel. Impressive, efficient, personable and highly professional, And... he had the needed part with him on his truck, saving time and the need for a return visit. I intend to use Expert Appliance Services again, and will ask for Sam, should one of our appliances require repair.

Problem was diagnosed and repair completed in under an hour. A screw was jammed into the basin and prevented spinning of unit. Very professional.

Super! I called at about 10am and PJ said he'd be here between 12 and 3. He called 30 minutes or so before arriving (I think he arrived around 1pm). He is such a nice man, and he worked quickly and efficiently to fix my dishwasher (it needed a new motor). It is so nice to know that if any other appliance has issues I can feel confident in calling this company!

PJ was quick to respond and able to come out within a couple of days. He was very thorough in checking possible problems and ultimately replaced the ice maker. It was a pleasure to deal with him - knowledgeable, courteous, and great feedback about what he was doing. He went "above and beyond" by quickly returning to fix the freezer door handle which had detached on one side. Something we tried to do but obviously didn't get it right!

It could not have gone any smoother. He showed up for the assessment a few hours after my call. He checked the stove and deemed it to be without a leak, so one of the knobs was probably not off completely. While he was here, my wife mentioned one of the burners wasn't working and asked if he could also take a look at that. It turned out that something had clogged up one of the ports, so he showed my wife how to clean them and they worked just fine after that. No charge for the lesson. :) Second, he took a look at the refrigerator. That was assessed to need two new parts, both of which he got his hands on the next day. After a 20 minute install, everything was working as it should. The guy I worked with was very pleasant and honest. I would use his services again in the future and would highly recommend this company to others.

We had an older dryer that came with the house when we bought it 2 years ago. When I called they told me they could have a technician out in 1 to 3 hours. 30 minutes later Sam called and said he was on his way. He arrived soon thereafter and was extremely polite and courteous. After inspecting the dryer he said it was most likely one of two issues, either thermostat or heating element. During the disassembly of the dryer he pointed out that it had never been serviced and began to uncake thick layers of lint and pulled out more than a few items that were making the loud grinding noises we frequently heard. He also pointed out the wheels that the drum sat on were so dirty they wouldn't spin freely. All told we got the heating element replaced and an excellent servicing performed on the dryer for the same price. All this in less than an hour! I would not hesitate to recommend Expert Appliance services for high quality service and repair. They rank at the top of my Angie's list and Sam is the best.

Working with Expert Appliance Service was an excellent experience. He was very timely and worked with my schedule limitations due to the other work I was having done at our unit. He gave me a price on the phone, which was reasonable, reading to replacing the likely part. While he had the dryer open he noted it could be another issue, so he replaced both parts that could have been a problem and since the drive belt looked like it may be a problem soon, he replaced that too, with no change in the price. I have used his services before and definitely will again if needed.

The service was excellent. When I called the schedule the repair, I was informed that a technician would arrive between 3-6pm. Our technician arrived at 2:50pm. Sam, our technician, was a great worker and very nice to work with. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was able to make the repairs without any problems. He was able to explain what the issue was, provide me with the estimate, and tell me which parts were required to make the repair. Our washer/dryer is in a small condo closet which posed some challenges to getting to the necessary parts for repair. Sam worked very hard to make the repair and apologized for the time it took and the mess that it created. He cleaned everything thoroughly and left our dryer and condo looking exactly as he found it. Our dryer works better than I ever remember it working! I am extremely pleased with the service we received.

These guys are terrific. Was very easy to schedule, the technician arrived on time, had the right part with him, and the work was done expertly at a very good price. Further, he showed me exactly what was wrong with the old one, told me exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost, and then explained exactly what he did when finished.

We really needed help to get our washer fixed and working again. We got it from Sam, our tech from Expert Appliance Service. It was a holiday weekend. We were coping with an ill family member and in the middle of a lot of other stressful things, our washer broke when it was full of dirty bedding. We were desperate for help and called multiple appliance repair businesses, trying to find someone who would make a service call asap. Someone answered at Expert Appliance Service and promised us a tech the next day in a 10 am - 2 pm service window. They also promised to call 20-30 minutes before their arrival. The latter is critical to us as we were in and out of the house, by necessity. Sam called ahead, as promised. Arrived in the first third of the service window and quickly fixed the switched that caused the problem. He ran a full cycle to make sure the washing machine was truly fixed and gave us a discount for our Angie's List membership. He was very professional, polite and left things neater than he found them. We will definitely use Expert Appliance again and highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable. We really appreciate Sam's good work.

Repairman showed up earlier than expected (was told 3-6, but he called ahead and arrived at 2:30). He was very knowledgeable on what the problem could be. His assessment proved correct. The thermal fuse was replaced quickly. Some additional maintenance will need to be done by us as the homeowner, but we were very satisfied with the results. Would definitely hire again!

Could not have been easier! PJ was able to schedule a same day service call, and the cost of the service call was applied to the repairs. They determined that a solenoid had failed, and needed to be replaced. Fortunately, they had the part in stock and were able to repair and test the dishwasher within a couple of hours. Very prompt, professional, and helpful service!

Excellent service. Sam, the service technician, contacted me prior to arrival and he was able to show up early for the scheduled appointment which worked out great for me. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. The entire visit only took 45 minutes. Sam was very professional and seemed to know his washing machines. He told me that my 10 year old Kenmore was a very reliable machine and that the switch failure was one its most common problems. He applied the $30 Angie's list coupon with no complications. I'll be using Expert Appliance Services in the future and will be asking for Sam.

the owner PJ was committed to repairing the problem even though I found out no one wants to repair an LG! There were multiple issues (as I knew from LG's troubleshooting via phone and web) and he came out to solve each one, and didn't charge me until we knew it was running well (with a refrigerator you have to be sure the temperature is holding so it's hard to say initially if the job is done.) He was very helpful coordinating with me as I was out of town and had to have a neighbor meet him at the house twice. I was dreading the final repair bill but ultimately the repair was very reasonable for my $3000 fridge that was 4 months out of extended warranty. He also did a small repair on my dishwasher gratis.

We called and to request service for our dryer. It would not stop running even when turning the power off. We had to unplug it. It was also not hot. PJ came that week for a service call. He was able to reset the panel to start working that day, but let us know that this was the start of the control panel going bad. We elected to get the control panel replaced. He was able to order the Samsung control panel and had it fixed in less then a week. This is the second time we have used PJ's service. He is nice and I thought price was fair. Better then having to get a new dryer!

We called Expert Appliance Services in the morning and we were told that someone could come that afternoon. Sam arrived within the quoted timeframe, assessed the issue, and provided me with a quote before he started to do any work. The heating element had burned out and he thankfully had the parts on hand so he could fix the issue immediately. Sam was very thorough. As he started taking apart the whole dryer, he kept reassuring me that everything was going to be ok and he was going to take care of the issue. He also showed me the burned out heating element after he took it out to confirm that was the cause of our issue. Sam reminded me to make sure all vents always stay clean and free of lint to allow adequate air flow. I would highly recommend using Expert Appliance Services to anyone who needs quick, thorough and professional appliance repair!

Great. The repairman was prompt and professional and clearly explained what was wrong with our refrigerator. The repair was made quickly and done right. Cost was reasonable and fair. We especially appreciated that he came right away on the same day we called. We would definitely recommend this company to others--outstanding service!!!

I am very pleased with the service I received. Over the weekend my refrigerator stopped cooling adequately. Since it was the hottest day of the year I thought that was the cause, but by Monday both the refrigerated and freezer sections starting registering temps over 40 degrees. I called Expert Appliance Service and they said they could send someone out the next day. The technician came within the promised timeframe, and within seconds said he thought he knew what the problem was. He proceeded to take off the back cover and showed me how the fan was barely moving. He said the cause was either the control board, or the fan itself. He told me he'd start by replacing the control board, and if the fan didn't start working that meant it was the fan that needed replacement, and he would just give me that (and remove the new board). It turned out to be the control board. By that evening my refrigerator had cooled things back to normal temperatures (he said it would take time to do that after the replacement). It's been humming along ever since.

Speedy, same day service. The problem was quickly resolved. I was very happy with the service provided.

After placing my service call Sam returned the call to schedule an appointment. I provided the make and model of the range. Sam arrived just as we agreed with the parts to repair. He is very efficient and explains exactly what he's doing. Pricing for service is extremely reasonable.

I could not be more pleased. I was scheduled the day after I called during the time from 10 to 1. The technician, Sam, called 20 minutes before arriving, at 10:30. He immediately diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and proceeded to take apart the freezer compartment and meticulously removed the ice buildup on the floor and the coils and replaced a small plastic tube. The problem is solved! What is so impressive to me is that my daughter in law had the same situation occur with the same type of refrigerator--but no service person took any time to clean the ice from the coils--just turned it off and let it sit for 24 hours. Her problem returned within a few months.. Sam is an excellent mechanic and a very nice person! Request him!

It turned out the washer could not be repaired. Even though that was disappointing, I was not that surprised, as the washer was 12 years old. The service man was very nice to work with and when I asked him for advice on what to buy to replace it, he was very helpful.

He was able to replace a part and had the refrigerator up and running in less than a 1/2 hour. I can't say enough about his professionalism and upbeat attitude. I plan on letting everyone in my neighborhood know about him.
