Econize Closets and Blinds

Job was completed as promised, in less than a day. Price was also better than competitors.

I purchased a Big Deal for a closet renovation and then decided to have closets installed in the attic room. Econize graciously applied the amount of the Big Deal to the total cost of the substitute project. Econize was very prompt in providing on-site estimate and schematic. Most of my questions about the design were readily answered. I was surprised, however, by the difficulty encountered in comparing the pricing of different options to the design. I came to understand that this is a feature of the software Econize uses. At which point, they were creative in working around that software rigidity to provide the estimates for me. Once everything was settled, they promptly set an installation date. The crew arrived on time, installed the closets and cleaned up in record time. The crew took particular care in adjusting the units to account for the un-level floor in the room. The units look great and I'm really pleased with how the project all came together. I don't anticipate any similar work being done in the near future, but I would certainly contact Econize for estimates if something were to come up.

Econize is the best. The designer, Trent, spent a great deal of time helping us optimize the space in our awkwardly designed closet. Their price was very competitive and installation was quick and very well done. We are thrilled with the result!

Great responsiveness since the beginning, including lots of patience during the design/selection stage that as one could expect included a few iterations & changes. The delivery and installation were right on the clock as originally promised and their working style, attention to detail, and cleanliness for a rather dusty job were remarkable. Pricing of course is never low enough for one's preference, yet totally worth the money.

We needed several reiterations of the design, but Noel was patient and cheerfully incorporated our changes. The careful planning paid off as we couldn't be more pleased. Additionally, although I had been thinking about the project for a long time, Noel had many helpful suggestions. It was truly a custom project as they were even able to accommodate my request to build a special area in which to hide a cat littler box. The installation was done professionally, and perfectly by Dan.

We started by meeting with Trent, a Senior Designer from the company. He was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable when discussing what we had in mind for our guest bedroom. Essentially, we wanted a wall bed or "murphy bed" that when closed up would leave the room available to us for exercise equipment/folding laundry/etc. But we also wanted it to fold down into a bed that could hold a high quality mattress, so that our guests (especially both sets of parents who are in their 60's) would have a comfortable, 'real' bed to sleep in and not something that feels like it could snap back into the wall at any moment, or that required a flimsy mattress. Trent explained a multitude of options and discussed the pros and cons of various materials (he brought along samples of different materials/colors). He took the time to find out what we wanted and designed a beautiful piece of furniture. The building/installation crew was led by Paul. He was fantastic and the guys working with him were excellent as well. We could not believe how quickly (a few hours) they built the piece, but also they clearly took great care in putting it together and attaching it to our wall. The side cabinets work great for storage but Paul suggested that we might add in an additional shelf or two to make them even more useful. He did not have the materials to add the extra shelving on the day of the installation, but he kept in touch with us and found a later time when he could bring over the wood and set up the shelves (at no extra cost). While it may have taken us a while to get around to writing this review (the work was done in December!), the lag time does allow us an additional benefit for the review: we have had probably 10 different guests sleep on the bed so far (not all at once, of course) and EVERY SINGLE PERSON says that they slept great and they think the wall bed is really cool, attractive, and a great use of the space. Of course it doesn't hurt that we put a high-quality mattress on it, but I think our guests have also been impressed with the craftsmanship of the bed/cabinetry as they have been with the bed. We highly recommend this company.

The designer did the estimate and was on time, thoughtful, and communicative via phone and email. He worked with our needs and budget in the design. He met us at our price with flexibility. The installers were early! The project was done with care and faster than promised. The installers didn't leave until we were 100% satisfied. They were so good I go out of my way to suggest them.

Most important - Econize managed the entire process: removed old closets, repaired and painted walls, installed new closets. The painting and installation staff were fantastic. Each team went above and beyond what was required. They were professional, friendly, and extremly competent. My first interaction was with Noel - one of the owners. He was friendly and professional as well. I liked his non-sales approach. It was apparant to me that his company was doing extremely well and his ultimate goal - provide great customer service. fter my discussion with Noel, he sent Trent to do the reall homework - the measurements and design. Trent was like an artist. He took about 1 hour to note my clothes, shoes, etc. The final product - outstanding! My wife likes it, I like it, and more importantly -- the wife is happy. Thanks to the entire Econize team for working with us to deliver their best!

Econize was easy to work with and had good ideas about my unusual house. (100 year old townhouse.) They came up with a closet/dressing room I love without damaging my home's historic features.

I met the company rep at a local expo. I had them come by to provide me with an estimate on having new closets installed. They were the cheapest out of 3 home estimates. The end product is wonderful. Now, my small living space is much more functional because of the work done by Eco-Nize. I am becoming better organized and as a new mommy... that's the best payoff. I am going to have my extra bedroom done next. :)

Noel continues to knock my socks off with his amazing service and kind helpfulness. Not only is the quality and attention to detail outstanding, but he's just such an incredibly conscientious, nice person. Such a refreshing change in DC! A hinge failed after 2 years, and he was so incredibly helpful and willing to fix the problem for free, I was really relieved.

Met with ECONIZE, talked about what we wanted. A design was drawn up with cost and gone over with us. Work was done when cabinets came in one day.

Noel's team was top-notch. They took the time to understand what we wanted and then delivered beautiful (and use-able) cabinets and closets. They are gorgeous! Noel even helped fix errors we caused!

Noel is a rare contractor. Who is himself with people as good as he is. He is not just the pretty face. He promised and delivered.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! So pleased with my new closets. This was my second time using ECO-NIZE. The first time, they converted a bedroom into a closet room. See my earlier review. This time, they made some tweaks to that room (I should have taken Noel's advice to have included more drawers) and upgraded every other closet in my house. The storage capacity has improved so much that it feels like I've added an entire new room. As before, ECO-NIZE produced terrific designs, which they revised as my ideas for use of the space evolved. Paul and the other members of the installation team were detail-oriented, conscientious, and took obvious pride in their work.

Incredible job, Treny, worked with me to come up with the original design and then several revisions. The install crew, was equally amazing, they were quick, courteous and clean, even though they had to set up their tools two floors below. The closet turned out perfectly, we couldn't be happier with it.
