I couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience; from the initial meeting through the consultation and discovery process through to the end of the installation. They did work in my home in three rooms and it has made a big difference in our closet organization! Noel was true to his word and his team showed up on the day promised and at the time promised. They were efficient, clean, friendly and clearly knowledgeable about their work. They enjoyed their work and spoke positively about their company. I would highly recommend Noel and Econize to anyone at any time and, would also suggest that if you are not sure of doing this type of work in your home, you should at least have a consultation with Noel and you may be surprised at what they can do and the value of this to your home.
Description of Work: Noel visited my home for consultation and overview of his products and services which included a step by step review of the process, the types of materials and services available. Then there was a room by room review and detailed drawings were provided to help me understand the scope of work, types of materials available, additional options available, pricing, and dates of installation. Detailed drawings for each closet / room, brochures of the company and its' products and services were provided and then a contract specifying the details of the work to include materials, cost and installation specifications and dates. I found Noel to be extremely knowledgeable, passionate about his business and his product, highly professional, true to his word and a good listener. He was also very good at giving advice and alternatives once he understood what you were trying to achieve and after looking at the rooms / areas to be worked on. He was also very willing to offer the most competitive pricing; I never felt like he was trying to take advantage of me regarding price.

+ -1 moreThis was a superb job that Noel did for us. We had a million changes (well not that many but you get the idea) over two months, and he stayed in the game the entire time. I think we had a new design every week. Turns out after the install we needed more shelves, and he came by with more shelves too. We had seven closets done, and the install took maybe a day and a half. Noel's team took care of patch and paint behind the old shelves, was very careful about cleanup, and was punctual and courteous. The actual installers are his employees, another plus. Good job Noel - you're the best!
Description of Work: My wife and I had recently moved into a condo that had the usual wire shelving, and we knew it had to go. We had the usual "big ad budget" closet companies come in and give quotes. Unbelievably, they ended with a high pressure closing to sign right now to get this price, as well as the call back to the "sales manager" to see if he would authorize a better price. Are you kidding me?? Then we found Econize. Noel was straight-forward, clear, supportive, understanding, responsive, and - his price was significantly below the competition. Quality was/is quite good, and he even gave an option for all wood if desired. We chose the high pressure laminate, and a color which matched our wood floors (cherry) and white walls other places. Surprisingly, I felt the laminate quality to be quite good. And today, 9 months later, still looks great with no issues. We have nearly 10 foot ceilings, and Noel added a level to take advantage of the extra space. Neither of the other two could do that. If you want great service, pricing, and all the rest, there is no competition. Econize is the Best.

Noel Sweeney really listened to my needs and I was so delighted to review the plans and found he had included a way to store my bike in the closet. Paul and Hugh, the installation crew, came on time, and were more than helpful, when determining the height of cabinetry in the laundry room, and the bike hanger in the closet. They cleaned up and left my condo in the same condition in which it was found! Working with Noel, Paul, and Hugh was a great experience. These gentlemen are professionals and certainly know best, so if I had questions, I went with their suggestions because they really do know best. A great company, responsive to your closet/design needs, professional, and the price is competitive.

+ -1 moreIt went quite well, and we are very satisfied. We were not that thrilled with the initial design we received, which worried us. But we explained our concerns about the design, and then were *extremely* pleased by how responsive Noel was to our concerns; he went out of his way to modify the designs, to give us good, straightforward advice, and to treat us extremely well. He willingly continued to tweak the designs, and to put up with our being indecisive. And the final design was great; the installation then went extremely smoothly, and we LOVE our new closets.
Description of Work: We had Econize design and install two walk-in closets in our newly renovated master suite. We went back and forth with them several times on the designs, and then had them install the closets.

+ -1 moreEconize Closets outfitted our small master bedroom closet with a great closet system. We looked at other company's products and they were more expense for a lower quality. The company rep was very responsive and helped us figure out exactly what we needed for our closet. When some of our closet components did not come in on time, the company called us right away to update us on the situation and reschedule the installation. To make up for the inconvenience, they installed a complimentary valet rack, which is wonderful! The closet was installed quickly and they cleaned-up everything. Our closet system is on the low end of what they offer, but it's 100% wood and looks amazing! We plan to use them for other projects in the future.

+ -1 moreThe guys were great from start to finish. We started with three possible areas that needed work. One of those areas just wasn't going to be manageable from the beginning and Trent told us so (kindly). That was important as we didn't want to be working with someone who would say yes to anything and then produce something that wouldn't work in the end. The second area could have worked in a technical sense, but ultimately just didn't fit right. Trent did the best he could on plans, but the bottom line was that there shouldn't be a structure where we were trying to put one and no matter what you did, it just wouldn't look right. He was never rude enough to say so, but when we started to come around he acknowledged the problem thoughtfully and didn't make us feel guilty for the time he put in trying to . Finally, the third area, a small walk-in closet for a growing girl, needed a complete overhaul. Trent gave us great plans, was responsive, and easy to work with on the few tweaks we asked for. When it came time to do the actual work, the team that showed up was professional, polite, and efficient. Our closet looks great and we are all very happy with the outcome.

+ -1 moreWe had two walk-in closets designed and built. Trent, the designer, was absolutely wonderful. We have a very large family and some unique needs for the spaces. He took into account the size of our small girls now, their storage needs, and the fact that they will grow and their closet needs to "grow" with them. He also designed a master bedroom closet that makes mazing use of a tricky space. Six months later, I'm still astounded by how much we can store there and how well it all fits. On the day of installation, Paul and Jack did a quick, efficient job of transforming the closets into useable space. It's always tricky to have contractors into our home. It's hard to keep nine kids out of everyone's way. Paul didn't bat an eye when my five-year-old kept going up to keep him company. He was as gracious and kind to her as he possibly could be, all while expertly d*** his work. The closets are solidly constructed and they were left impeccably clean. Before he left, Paul showed my little girl a "secret compartment" hidden in her closet where she can store treasures. She's a fan for life!
Description of Work: Two walk-in closets were designed and built. One became a "dressing room" for three little girls, complete with shelves, hanging rods, and dresser drawers. The other is a master bedroom closet that is in an awkward space in our home. A custom design made good use of the space.

They were on time and cleaned up after their work. The workmen were polite and fast. It cost more than I had hoped to spend, but the quality is very good, and I am happy with the job.

Each time our experience with the company and their service has truly been outstanding. The owner of the company, Noel Sweeney, is friendly, knowledgable, and very professional. He does his design on his computer and you will have an exact idea how your closet will look like before you sign the contract. His prices are competitve, and the install crew he sent each time very fantastic. Very professional, polite, arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. That's why we keep coming back to them for more closets. I highly recommend them.

Trent came by to take measurements and discuss sample finishes shortly after my initial call, and the initial design was provided within just a few days. After a couple of minor revisions, the final design was completed, and within 1-2 weeks I received a call to schedule installation. The installers arrived on time, and had the job completed within just a couple of hours. The closet system is actually nicer than I expected ? It looks great and is constructed with solid, quality materials. I wouldn?t hesitate to call Eco-nize again if needed!

Description of Work: We had Econize back again and once again they did an amazing job. They designed and installed our walk-in closet, office, living room/library. kitchen pantry and now our garage. I really like Econize because from beginning to end it's an easy experience. Noel comes out to listen to our needs and help create the design. He sees thing more objectively then I do and always comes up with ideas that not only serve my purpose, but look great too. For example, my living room/library is formal and he put in moulding that coordinated with my shelves/cabinets and also even left us materials to tie in our fireplace surround. Our pantry has enough space to move around, but he really maximized storage as well putting pullout drawers where my kids could reach them (packing lunches, grabbing snacks) as well as a wall to hang brooms, cleaning tools etc. It works perfectly. My husband and I were living out of a spare bedroom b/c our master was being remodeled. Noel took a look at the heaps of our clothes, designed our walk-in closet for the master and voila! It fit our needs like a glove! But the nice thing is that even if it doesn't work out perfectly, Econize will come back and re-do whatever you want with out charge. They don't nickel and dime you to death and really want you to be happy. Our garage is now spic and span. When we had everything in a pile in the middle, I thought, how is all this stuff going to get put back? Yes, we purged many things, but it still looked like too much. After Econize did their magic, we have extra space in lots of areas and way more room to move around getting in and out of cars... etc. We are thrilled.

+ -1 moreI now have my dream closet thanks to Noel and his team. In our case, we were able to convert an unused bedroom into a closet complete with island. Noel walked us through the design process, showing us options and providing helpful advice concerning each of the features that we wanted included. There was no attempt to push us toward a favored design approach. He listened to our vision of what we wanted and then worked to make sure that we got exactly that. We wanted a specific type of crystal knob on our drawers which he could not obtain, so he offered suggestions where we could get them and then installed our knobs when they arrived. The installation crew likewise was great, completing the entire project in one day. They ended up missing a few parts that did not arrive in time for the installation, but left the closet ready for use and returned early the following week to complete the installation. We couldn't be happier. We intend to use Econize again.

Our two closets are not very big and Trent did a nice job considering our needs and creating a design that would maximize our closets' limited space. The installation crew also did a great job. They worked quickly and efficiently and did not leave until we were completely satisfied with things. It has been a little over two months since the work was completed and we continue to be very pleased with our new closets. It is now so much easier for us to be neat and organized. We would definitely use Econize again.

The guys that did the installation were also very nice and efficient and minimized disruption while the installed the closets. I would definitely use them again. We got the closets we wanted and now feel that we have maximized storage space.
Description of Work: We just bought a DC row house and had four closets that needed shelving and organization. Econize came out to get exact measurements and then provided us with 3D CAD drawings to show how the closets would look. They then installed the four closets in just a few hours. The whole process from start to finish only took a couple of weeks.

Noel Sweeney, co-owner, visited our home several times to ensure he knew exactly what we wanted, so he could create the perfect home office for us. We are so thrilled that he created exactly what we wanted. We have lots of attractive storage, shelving, work surfaces, and even a custom built desk to match...the office is uniquely perfect for us...the craftsmanship, design (hardware, finish, color) and installation far exceeded our expectations. The office looks fantastic...attractive and professional. From our initial call for a free estimate, through the interim phone calls, emails and two home visits, to the installation...this was an absolutley wonderful experience.

Noel was helpful in offering suggestions and I feel gave us more than our money's worth given a small budget to work with. After selecting the layout and materials (wood & hardware) Noel's team did a wonderful job installing the closets in a timely and professional manner. The installer who came to my home left the work area cleaner than when he arrived. I would highly recommend Econize and I do plan to use them again for future projects.

+ -1 moreIt was a dream! We contacted them and requested a visit on short notice and explained we were working on a very tight timeframe. A designer was at our house within a couple days and he immediately impressed me with his professionalism and customer-first attitude. The first drawings he provided were great, but we wanted a few adjustments and he was more than happy to oblige (and he explained the cost would go up because I was adding more expensive features that he intentionally left out since he wanted to keep our budget in mind ? I appreciated his forthrightness and his value conscious mind set). We ended up doing one more adjustment to the drawings and finalizing our agreement. A couple weeks later (again on a compressed schedule & they did not let me down), the installation team arrived! They were of the same level of professionalism and customer-first attitude as the owner and also the designer which has led me to really admire this company. They adjusted their schedule to meet my request of needing to leave the house by 9am and knocked out the work in a very efficient manner. I was so pleased with the end product and the entire process. I cannot recommend Econize highly enough. They have set a new bar for customer service ? I just hope others rise to the occasion and try to match it!
Description of Work: They designed and delivered closet shelving/rods/etc. for our very large master bedroom closet area (which actually consisted of 3 separate rooms). They customized the design to meet our needs and with our budget in mind. Several iterations of design drawings were provided before we made a final selection. They were very good listeners and adapted the drawings to our requests very quickly.

Professional, responsive, prompt and very nice to work with. Initial contact was with Noel then Trent came to my home to design. He worked with me on ideas and even returned when I had difficulty "picturing" the closet. Paul and his team installed. Paul answered all my questions and provided follow-up when I had a question after installation. I found Econize prices to be fair.
