Econize Closets and Blinds

This was a smooth operation from start to finish. Noel, the designer, arranged a meeting with me within a week of requesting a survey for a new closet. He arrived promptly (which I appreciate since I had to leave work) and listened carefully to my requirements for the closet. He then measured everything and sat down with me to discuss finishes, drawer handles, accessories, etc. all of which were with him in his sample bag. He also provided me with a brochure detailing all the options. He provided an estimate of when to expect the proposed design layout and how long after we agreed on a design that the installation would happen. Everything happened right to his estimated schedule. The installers (Paul and Jack) arrived precisely in the middle of the expected arrival time. They were both pleasant and professional. The team lead took one look at my closet and estimated 2 hours max to install. They were done in 1.5 hours. They were clean, organized, and worked together like a well-oiled machine. After the work was complete, Noel followed up with a phone call and email to make sure I was happy with the product. Overall, I am quite pleased with their work and the quality of the product. I would use them again and recommend them highly.

Excellent designs presented by company rep. and we made several tweaks. Following installation several weeks later, We noticed several flaws, which company remedied fully. Outstanding experience!

From reworking the drawings with Noel several times to the installation of the closet with Paul and his crew, EcoNize Closets was professional, considerate, and a delight to work with. Finally we were ready to move forward and our new closet was installed on 2/7/13. It is everything we were hoping for. The layout is great and the materials are high quality. Paul and his installation crew were very professional, efficient and neat. Everything was installed in a few hours and, except for the new closet, it was as if they had never been here!

Noel Sweeney, the co-owner was a great to deal with because he listened to what we really wanted and responded with 3-D renderings and a quote. He was willing to negotiate and was very reasonably priced. We absolutely love everything that was installed! Noel's staff were prompt, pleasant and professional. Everything looks great and we would highly recommend this company.

The entire process was friendly and professional. I scheduled the consult and install well in advance, allowing for ample lead time to review and tweak the design. I went for very standard finishes, and only upgraded to deeper closet drawers and a sliding tie rack as a gift to my husband. The price for a standard installation is very fair and very competitive. On install day they arrived early, installed quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with the job they did and I'm currently enjoying my closet! I hope to use Econize for future projects (a pantry and a linen closet) in our small row home, where storage space is scarce!

I met Noel Sweeney at the Home and Garden Show at the Dulles Expo and was very impressed with Econize Closet's products and with Noel's professionalism. I made it clear before making the appointment that I do not sign contracts on the spot at the first appt and for Noel that was no problem. I made an appointment for a consultation and he was on time and prepared with samples and ideas for design. His product is high quality and his integrity is as well. He was able to take measurements and then explain my options all within 1 hour (not the case with some other closet organizing companies!). He provided me a detailed design and estimate within 3 days. I am not able to go forward with the project at this time but when I am able to, I will definately call Noel. I would recommend him and his company to everyone!

Noel was on time for our first meeting which was unusual in my experience. He cannot be more accommodating or professional. He didn’t nickel and dime us on the system. The Closet exceeds my expectations in every way. The installers were professional, neat, and great work with. I have already recommended them to multiple friends.

I had my first meeting with Trent on October 10 where he measured each closet and we discussed what my husband and I wanted for each closet and prices. I received the preliminary designs on October 22, which was longer than I expected it to take. Noel said they were very busy and offered me a free tie rack and belt rack to make up for it. We tinkered with the designs twice and both times it took over a week for Trent to get back with me, but on November 6, we finalized the designs. The first available date for installation was over a month from then--December 12th. On December 10th, they called and asked if they could come the 11th and I said OK. On December 11, the installers arrived on time and completed the work in a professional and timely manner. We are very happy with the way the closets turned out.

Very prompt response from Trent following my initial outreach. While they're very busy, he was able to come by shortly thereafter to see the space, hear about my needs, and share some initial ideas. The proposed design was then emailed to me within a couple of days, with a follow-up call from Trent to make sure I'd received it and answer any initial questions. We went back and forth a few times and he was very patient in addressing my questions and accommodating the design adjustments I wanted. The installation went flawlessly and the system looks fantastic. I highly recommend Econize.

Econize Closets did a fabulous job for me. I love my new closets! I did an overall update of parts of my home, and the closets are the one thing that make me smile every time I see them. Noel Sweeney assigned my closet makeover to Trent Hillaert, who is a total professional and great at design and measure. It took several months after my initial contact with them for me to be ready for the closet installation, but they stayed in close touch and worked with me over several revisions until we got the closets just right. Paul and Jack did the actual installation which went seamlessly. I am very pleased with the look and feel of my new closets and think they are more than worth every penny I spent to have them done. I would recommend Econize Closets to my family and friends, and to anyone looking to have amazing, professionally done closets at a good price and great quality.

From start to finish, Eco-nize provided excellent customer service. We felt at ease every step of the way and were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We received four quotes to do our closets and by far, Eco-nize had the best quote and made us feel the most comfortable. The other closet companies tried to use tactics of pressure to get our business which we didn't appreciate. Eco-nize knew we wanted to get our closets in fast and were able to fit us in their schedule earlier than predicted. The installation guys were very professional and cleaned up afterwards. After they left upon further our inspection, we noticed one of the panels to the master closet was a bit crooked and we found a small crack in our tile in the corner of the closet. Eco-nize came right back out fixed the panel and offered to replace the tile. It was a small crack that would not be noticed so we opted to place shoe molding along the back of the closet. It actually looks better with the shoe molding in the closet and will be useful since we'll put shoes there. It turned out better than expected! Their number one goal is customer satisfaction and they mean it!!! You don't find too many companies that stand by their word and product but Eco-nize does. Our closets look awesome and function so much better for our needs. If we do any more organization in our closets, we will be calling Eco-nize and passing this company's information to our friends. Great company with excellent customer service!!!

Love our new closet!!! From the initial meeting with Noel, to the install the entire process with Econize Closets was very pleasant. Noel listened to our concerns, and was able to work within our budget, which we really appreciated. Paul and his team of installers were awesome. We couldn't be happier with the end result. We look forward to having Econize Closets come back out and do another project in the near future.

This work was purchased through an Angie's list deal, I representative came to my house, walked me through all the options, and explained the prep work I needed to do. There were no additional costs (beyond what I paid for the deal. The actual work was done quickly and neatly. I love my new closet!!!!!

Awesome. Not only was the job done better than we could have hoped, but they even took the time to do extra work to fix the little things we forgot to tell them beforehand (including some really creative cable management). Everything is of high quality. It looks great and it works great, and even months later I have zero complaints. I spend a lot of time at this desk, and treat it pretty roughly; it still looks great. We have absolutely nothing to complain about, and fully plan to use Econize again when it comes time to build proper shelves in the baby's closet or when we finally get rid of our old IKEA bookshelves and replace them with nice built-ins (we've already gotten the estimate for this job, actually....).

We found Eco-nize via a search on Angie's List. They came out to provide a free initial estimate for work performed and provide a proposal. They were very willing to make adjustments to accomodate our organizational requirements. From the initial estimate though payment and install (Trent, Dan and Paul) were wonderful! They were very professional, very helpful, very pleasant. The work was completed in a timely fashion and we are extremely pleased with the final results. We are thinking about using them again for a future project in our garage. We highly recommend using the Eco-nize team.

It was a great deal, half off on customized closets. The salsemen Trent came to my house, measured everything and helped me make the appropriate choices for the design that best suited my purposes. Trent was also very accomodating when I had to re-schedule the installation date several times. Once the date was set, the installer came and it only took him 45 minutes to install. He cleaned everything up after himself, (there was some drilling into the wall), and wiped everything down. The quality of the closet is VERY good and I would definitely recommend Econize Closets to everyone who needs to get better organized.

We worked with Trent, he came to the house twice and it took us a few months to finalize what we wanted and to get time on our schedule to make it happen. He was patient, worked with us when we were ready, and we felt no pressure. The designs, workmanship, quality and professionalism were all top quality, we would definitley use Econize again.

Eco-Nize more than doubled our existing closets' storage capacity! Very crucial for us, since our townhouse has no basement, attic, or garage! I have no complaints!

We had one consultation meeting and several conversations about revisions. Once revisions were completed, we quickly decided on an installation date, and Eco-nize had immediate availability, which was very nice. On the day of the install, everything went so smoothly. The installer was done over an hour ahead of schedule and left the space very neat and clean. Throughout the process, I was extremely impressed with the helpfulness and professionalism of the Eco-nize staff. We were contacted shortly after the installation to see if we were satisfied and if any corrections needed to be made. Excellent customer service.

I love my house but the closets in our MBR seems like they were an afterthought. I've been wanting a professional closet organizer for years and years and I have interview a few of the bigger named companies over this period. Either their prices were out rageous or the design for the closet wasn't giving me enough additional space to make it worth my while. Noel came as scheduled and listened to what I wanted. He measured out both closets and took a look at how we were using it. Then he asked me what I wanted. I told him I need more room for my shoes and handbags but I couldn't afford to loose any rod space. Impossible task but I thought I'd give it a try. Noel came back with an awesome plan. All my shoes and handbags organized and within easy reach, double hung rods gave me more than enough hanging space. And my husbands closet was even better. He didn't ask for anything and the plan Noel came up with was awesome. Every inch was used. Its functional and pretty. We are very happy with the outcome. I look forward to walking in my closet and looking at all my favorite accessories. I use them so much more now that I can see them. The crew was awesome too. They were scheduled to start when Hurricane Sandy hit NOVA. It didn't stop them. They arrived on time, laid drop cloths and put covers on their shoes. All the cutting was done outside in their workshop trailer so no mess anywhere!! They even vacumed up the little shavings from the screw holes they drilled. FOUR CLOSETS DESIGNED BY PROFESSIONAL DESIGNER TRENT VERY QUICK FACTORY PRODUCTION TIME BETWEEN DESIGN SIGN OFF UNTIL PHONE CALL TO SET UP INSTALLATION WAS LESS THAN TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO INSTALL PAUL AND JACK TOOK OFF EXISTING BRACKETS AND REPAIRED AND PAINTED DRYWALL. THIS WALL REPAIR ADDED EXTRA TIME TO THE INSTALL BUT THE TOTAL INSTALL WAS KEPT TO UNDER FOUR HOURS THIS WAS MY SECOND JOB DONE BY ECONIZE CLOSETS. THEY PREVIOUSLY HAD BUILT AND INSTALLED HIS AND HERS MASTER CLOSETS

Overall, this was a very pleasant experience. We have been very impressed with the quality of the cabinets. And, it was a pleasure to work with Noel and his team throughout the project.

Both projects went fabulously. This company showed up when they said they were going to, finished when they said they would, and completely cleaned up after themselves. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely use them again.
