Econize Closets and Blinds

Everything went pretty well in the end!

We've used Econize several times now in multiple houses, and they always do top, top quality work. They're incredibly responsive and figured out ways to solve problems. The media cabinet is a prime example: it was a strange space and a very peculiar item, but they figured out ways to get it done while surpassing my already high expectations. I really can't recommend them more highly. If you have a pantry or closet to redo, call these guys. If you have some particular storage need that you can't find an off-the-shelf solution for, call them for that, too. They just might have the perfect solution for you.

I found Econize Closets on Angie's List. I called several from Angie's List, but really liked this company. I explained what I wanted and David gave me a brief run down on the phone. I explained that I was on a budget, and not looking for all of the bells and whistles- he was not put off by this and still happy to talk me through everything. We made an appointment, and he came out to measure and help me with a design. David asked great questions- several things that I hadn't thought of. He was able to show me a 3-D picture of what my closets would look like. After David's presentation and design, I decided at the appointment to go with them. I paid half of the total and was told it would take about 2 weeks for installation. They called the next week, and I made an appointment for install. The guys that came were great! Friendly, professional and the install job was top notch. The closet system is wonderful- just wish we'd done it sooner.

My experience with Econize was wonderful. A sales representative came to our house to measure the space and provide suggestions for a closet system. He provided a computerized 3-D drawing for us. He was happy to make modifications to the plan for us to see how different plans would work and make sure we were happy with the plan. Ultimately, his original plan seemed the best and was the plan we decided to purchase. The representative also brought samples of all the materials for us to see the exact colors and quality of the products that would be installed. A couple weeks later two installers came to actually install the closet shelving. They were polite, efficient, and left the space well cleaned. The shelving is very sturdy and fits our awkward space extremely well. Overall, Econize was great start to finish, and I would definitely want to work with them again for any future projects.

The project was a closet organizer In a walk in closet for a kids room and from start to finish the service was excellent. David the salesperson arrived right on time and took the time to understand what we were looking for and then provided several ideas to consider while keeping in mind our budget. He presented a proposal on-site and after reviewing one other company, we selected Econize due to their very competitive price and their track record of satisfied customers. The installation team arrived on time and worked great together to get the job done in a short period of time. We are very pleased with the closet and highly recommend David and Econize.

I chose not to use this company because I got the gut feeling that they weren't able to do what i wanted. I had a photo of exactly what I needed, i had measurements, etc, and I felt as if I wasn't being heard. I got a sense there were other jobs more important than mine.

Everyone involved was very professional and exceeded my expectations. It looks great. Check out the photos. The quality of materials is impressive. I strongly recommend them.

Fantastic job! Great design team, great installation team. Our walk in master closet was done on time, on budget, and looks like it cost ten times more than it did. Overall a top notch business to deal with.

EcoNize gives 5-Star service with a 5-Star product. From my initial inquiry, I was sold on EcoNize because of their prompt responsiveness and attention. I am relocating from Michigan to Maryland. I wanted to maximize my one bedroom condo for space as I downsized. Dan gave my emails quick attention and even was willing to give me a rough estimate of costs over email. I was sold with the service quite honestly. David then came out and designed to my liking. I agree with other reviewers there was no "up sale" just the plain truth given. I would definitely use them again!

An appointment with a senior designer was made within a few days of my contacting the company. The designer arrived promptly, looked at and measured the space and came up with an electronic design, which my decorator and I tweaked during his visit. Very minor changes were needed after that and a proposal was promptly submitted. After only a few weeks, the cabinets were ready to be installed! The installation went well and I am extremely satisfied with the work.

We contacted Econize after reading the numerous recommendations on Angies List and will definitely use them again. We have a townhouse and the pantry that came with the townhouse was starting to look shabby and I knew we were not savvy enough to create and install one ourselves. I had also taken down our son's closet rail while repainting and had not installed a new closet rod yet. After providing the basic measurement to Econize, they sent us a computer generated image of their suggested arrangement based on what we wanted and an estimation. We originally asked for the master bedroom closet and our other son's closet in the estimate. After going over our finances, we decided just to do the pantry and the closet without a clothes hanger rack first. The guys from Econize worked with my husband primarily because of his work schedule, and I did the final approval after looking at the plans. They came and did a final measurement and explained what they were going to install. It was up to us to remove the current shelving system in the pantry, fill the holes and repaint the wall, which we were able to accomplish the night before. My husband said the crew came and had both closets install in under two hours and were extremely polite and asked questions regarding certain placement of shelves and were very very professional. When they were done, my husband gave me a call at work and told me 'your Kitchenaid Mixer and the breadmachine definitely fit in the pantry now.' That was followed by 'I really wish we did this when we moved in'. When I got home my two kids were very excited to show me the new closet system and I looked at it and said to my husband 'you're right, we should have done this when we moved in'. Our pantry space went from cramped and non-moving shelves to a system that holds my Kitchenaid Mixer, a bread machine, my one pot electric pressure cooker, a toaster, and my shake/smoothie set and blender and there is STILL room for more items. Some shelving is set in place, but others we can adjust as we want/need. We choose a white semi-gloss paint for the back of the pantry, and it looks great with the white shelving. The shelving/rods in the boys closet is great. One thing our townhouse definitely lacks is storage and the unit they installed allows us to store and place more kids items in the bedroom closet in an orderly location. We will definitely have more closets installed by Econize in the future and will utilize them for over storage and shelving projects.

It was a fantastic experience start to finish. They were fun to work with - creative and with lots of great ideas. Willing to work within out budget. We love the finished product too. Our old closet was stuffed to overflowing. This one is so much more functional (and attractive) we have empty shelves! Guess it is time to go shopping:)

Terrific! They arrived at the scheduled time; estimated appropriate amount of time it would take to complete and they were done in that time; work was flawless; they cleaned and vacuumed the room when they were done. Note, I had used Econize previously to install cabinets in my garage. I was so pleased the first time that i wanted them back to do the desks and cabinets for the computer room.

We chose Econize because of its outstanding reviews on Angie's List. We second those reviews! Basically, the whole thing was carried out in two easy steps. First, David the designer came out and showed me my options on his magic computer. Together, we chose to install special shelves for shoes, multiple box-like shelves, a long vertical space for hanging garments like dresses, and a space with higher and lower rods--so that, for example, my husband's shirts can go on the top rod and his pants on the other. This process was a lot of fun. Then, after the closet was painted, the installers came and, in about 1 1/2 hours, put everything in. The closest looks fantastic. It now has a very up-to-date look and stores our clothes and other items very efficiently. As with a lot of projects like this, my husband and I are asking ourselves, Why didn't we do this years ago? We will definitely hire Econize to do our garage once we get up the nerve to deal with the horrible mess there.

It was a pleasure to work with them on the design process as they were always looking out for my budget and making sure I didn't go far out of the window! They were responsive and the installation crew was fantastic. They were clean and courteous. They went over all features, once install and made sure I was happy before they left.

Eco-Nize was very hands-on and provided expert knowlede in creating a design for our closets. They did an on-site visit and worked very fast with revisions over email. Price was probably comparable with container store but a much higher-end product and finished look. Our closets are not that big and Eco-Nize definitely maximized functionality with the limited space that we had. Every person involved with the project from the designer to the installer was 100% professional and courteous. It was a very seamless and pleasant experience.

Econize did an outstanding job from start to finish. David Townsend, Econize designer, worked with us to design a master bedroom closet that maximized the space and provided us with more than enough shelving, drawers, hanging. Within a couple hours of seeing the closet, he presented a 3-D rendering of the new closet and we tweaked the design with him. He was extremely knowledgeable as a designer and really maximized the space that we had. We also visited their showroom to see all the finishes and was able to better visualize how our closet would look. We got 3 other competing closet designs/quotes and Econize not only had one of the best prices, but their customer service and flexibility were unparalleled. We never felt pressured to buy from them (which I can't say about the other closet companies) and David's personable nature really sealed the deal for Econize. David was also able to turn-around the closet in less than 2 weeks due to a customer cancellation which was about 1/2 the time the other closet companies were quoting. 2 days before the closet installation, David called to confirm the time of the install. The installers arrived exactly at the time they said they would and completed the closet installation in less time than they originally told us (4 hrs vs 5-7 hrs). The took very careful care to not damage any walls, doors, or furniture and cleaned up after themselves. They were absolutely professional and demonstrated all the features of our new closet before they left. After the they left, David called again to make sure everything went well. Econize performed flawlessly and we would absolutely use them again in the future.

I received 3 bids and they were BY FAR the most responsive, most flexible and best priced. They were very patient with my revisions, showed up when they said they would and finished right on time. Would 100% use them again.

We started with a design for our master closet that included a washer dryer in a large space. We were converting the master sitting room into a walk in closet. Working with Noel, he explained why the space was not large enough to accomodate the washer dryer. He spent a good deal of time with us and presented a design that we were excited about. We now have over 30 draws, loads of hanging space and a great design and flow to that area. The installation went smoothly and took much less time than we expected it would take. Paul and crew arrived on time, were very pleasant and cleaned up the work area when they completed the job. Since the washer dryer didn't make it up stairs to the master closet, our next project was our laundry -mud room. Again, Noel came up with a great design for that area. We now have so much more storage space as well as hanging for both coats and items that need to air dry We just love the results and design for both the projects and working with Noel and Dan and their installation crew could not have gone any better. When we noticed a draw that needed an adjustment, they responded quickly to our call and made the necessary correction. They are a very professional business and we highly recommend working with them.

It couldn't have gone any better. Noel and Dan did a wonderful job working through our ideas and needs to design a closet that is perfect for each of us. And the installers knocked it out of the park. They are patient, kind, thoughtful, performance driven people who will not let you down. This is a no-brainer.

We are very happy with our new closets. We worked with David Townsend - who was punctual, friendly, professional, and very accommodating to our needs. Eco-Nize worked with us on the installation date, and all four closets were done in 2 hours. The crew that installed the closets were equally courteous and professional - and cleaned up when they were done.

We met the owner of Econize Closets Noel at a local Home Expo. My wife was impressed by Noel and his company so we did several preliminary closet designs with Noel and his team, which included a brief visit at their local office in Clifton, VA. We finally decided on a final design for our closet and then kicked off the install. Econ-Nize was very flexible on the installation date options and we ended up having our closet installed on Friday March 14th. Wow! What a difference an Econ-Nize closet can make to a dated old reach in closet. Noel (Owner), Dan (Office Manager), David (Designer) and the install team lead by Paul were all consummate professionals. My wife commented that she just could not believe how nice Noel and all of his team members were and we have been very pleased to work with Econ-Nize Closets. One quick note on the install which took place last Friday. The install team contacted me to let me know they would be a few minutes early. These guys rolled in and got to work. They left the place without a spec of dirt or saw dust.....and actually their was a pile of debris nearby that was not their's but they cleaned it up when the left. The install took all of 45 minutes, I mean these guys were really moving. Anyway, I highly recommend Econ-Nize Closets!
