Econize Closets and Blinds

The designer came to the house to meet with me, take measurements and discuss possible options for the closet. Within an hour, he had created designs and provided the drawings and cost estimate. Once I decided to proceed with the project, they scheduled an install date two weeks later. I was able to save some money by removing the old shelving myself and then repairing/repainting the walls before the installation. The installation team arrived on-time and completed all work within four hours. They were professional and the closet is absolutely beautiful!

I live in an older condominium building, and finally decided to replace my closet rods and minimal shelves (in 3 closets - bedroom, den, and hall) with real closet systems that work for me and provides adequate storage. I contacted Econize (after finding them on Angie's List) and set up an appointment for them to look at my closets. The appointment was rescheduled once because of weather, but then David came to my apartment, reviewed what I had, answered (very patiently) a lot of questions, and then on the spot designed what he thought would best suit my needs. Having the in-person meeting include his design work saved us a lot of time in the long run, and I was impressed by how carefully he had listened to what I wanted. The price was fair, and the systems looked amazing on paper. Installation happened on the day we had planned, and the guys were on time, and couldn't have been nicer or cleaner. I have had the closets for a couple weeks now, and I am thrilled with the result! Everything in the process worked perfectly, and everyone I dealt with was professional and really cares about getting the best result. I cannot recommend them more highly!

Trent and crew were very responsive and attentive to our requests and busy work schedule. The design was well put together and turned out beautiful. There was a minor issue with the height of the tie rack, but the crew was out in no time and readjusted it. Highly recommend them for your closet needs!!

The guys were very very responsive on email which I really appreciated. They were very nice and professional and did a nice job and on time. We're very happy with our closet and window seat. They were a pleasure to work with.

This was a project we had put off for years for lack of ideas. Econize provided excellent service including the original consultation with suggestions, photos, measurements, etc. We visited their local showroom for a better idea of the final product. Installation was very smooth with no difficulties, as the team was obviously well prepared and knowledgeable about the products. Every individual we dealt with at Econize from our sales rep to the installers were prompt, thoughtful, courteous and efficient. They cleaned up the workspace and hallway after installation. We are so pleased with our new office and our entire experience with Econize!

Trent showed up for the design session on time and was very knowledgeable on his products and what we were trying to do. He spent quite a bit of time going over the pros and cons of converting a bedroom to a custom closet in the end...happy wife ..happy life.....bedroom lost. We had to have a door between the bedroom and the new closet added and a few other minor changes made so by the time we were done with what we had to do the closet was ready to be installed. The Econize team showed up on time, verified what we had agreed to with Trent and then went to work immediately explaining exactly what was going to be involved. When there were options to choose from, they consulted my wife, its her closet after all, no sense talking to me, and then proceeded with her direction. It was amazing how quickly they finished and how incredible the closet looked when they were done. My wife has always dreamed of a huge custom closet and Trent and the guys at Econize Closets made those dreams a reality. We will definitely call Trent again for any other custom work we need done.

They arrived at the time they said, they were professional, polite, neat and knowledgeable. They explained each step and asked me questions if they were unsure of how I wanted the closet to function. They doubled the actual hanging area, put in two sets of shelves and actually constructed a large linen closet in our closet. An outstanding job. I would recommend them highly. Their price was 1/2 the price of the other two estimates I received and their work was outstanding.

This project went extremely well. David Townsend took measurements (this was new construction - a ground-floor master suite addition) and we had prepared an inventory of our clothing, shoes, etc. David did a great design on the spot, with a very competitive price. He said that he would consult with other experts at Econize about the design of our window seats, because the two window walls were set at a 45 degree angle to the other walls and we wanted the design to provide both function and beauty. Installation was outstanding. The installers were very professional and highly skilled. It was a pleasure having them in my home. The resulting design is wonderful - it exceeded my expectations. Bottom line: The most wonderful closet that I have ever seen is the closet in my own home.

Sometimes it works out, when you make contact with a small business and they come in and do great work. Our master bedroom closet was original to the house, 1982, and small. We upgraded the room and master bath, and wanted to the closet to match. I didn't think anyone would take the job, and thought I was going to have to settle for the Home Depot do it your self kit. Econize was very responsive, and David made a great presentation with varying designs and material examples. We we're able to pick the materials we wanted and change the design as we saw fit to meet our needs. He gave us exactly what we wanted. The crew arrived on time and did a great job with the install, to include clean-up. They were in and out so fast. I did the demo and patch work to save costs. A month or so after install, I inquired about adding tie racks, and again Econize quickly responded by ordering the racks directly to my house and answered my questions about install. These guys are great and they do quality work.

Our designer Trent Hilleart came up with a great design and a competitive price to create a master closet that we're really proud of. The meeting was low-key (vs. the high-pressure sales tactics of other closet companies we talked to), the product superior, and the cost very reasonable and competitive. The installation crew was great... fast, quiet, and cleaned up after themselves. Very impressed overall! Our new master closet functions beautifully and looks great. We're very happy.

After sending an appointment request, Econize contacted me promptly to set up an appointment. David showed up as scheduled for the appointment and spent quite a bit of time measuring and creating a design for each space. He went over different options for the design and style of cabinets. He was extremely professional and answered all of our questions. We hired Econize to install cabinets in the linen closet and laundry room. The installers were prompt, friendly and did a great job. My only complaint is they forgot to bring the hinges for the doors on our laundry room cabinets and were unable to finish the job until a week later. Although this didn't keep us from using the laundry room cabinets, it did require that we coordinate another time to be home to meet the installers. When they showed up to install the doors they were very quick about it and everything looks great. I have had custom closets/cabinets installed while living in another state and I would say in comparison Econize uses high quality material that look very nice. However, they were significantly more expensive that the other company I used. On the plus side their materials do not give off an odor like the other custom closet companies. We will most likely hire them to do our master bedroom.

Every once in a while you find a business that works like a team. From first contact to to the final follow-up call after assembly to make sure everything was the way we wanted, it was a seamless and coordinated project. Trent, our designer, really went all-in to make sure he understood our needs - asking questions, making suggestions and helping us think the project through. The back and forth email communication about the 3-D design really worked well. We made adjustments and gave them the go ahead on a very compressed time-table. We weren't surprised when their assembly team - a true "Band of Brothers", Jack & Steve Donahue - showed up on time, were more than polite and left an immaculate, attractive and super-convenient closet - everything else had gone so well. Ask for these Pro's by name! The folks in this organization know their stuff, care about the impression they make, and they strive to exceed your expectations. Before Eco-Nize our closet barely worked for us. Now - and I'm not kidding - we give tours!

This project went well throughout! From the first contact with the office to completion. David, our designer, listened to our needs and created a closet space that dovetails with our needs. The project manager, another David, ( who reviewed the drawing with me at the outset and verified key questions (how to handle existing outlets, etc.) and two installers arrived on time with all supplies and professionally set up their work materials and proceeded to efficiently install the closet infrastructure, shelves, and hanging spaces. They treated our home and outside space with the greatest of care, and were both personable and professional to deal with. Communication was perfect and easy! The materials look great. We are having them back to propose a solution for bookshelves around our family room fireplace. Update: Once we "populated" the walk in closet, we wanted some minor adjustments. I called Econize and they immediately gave us schedule options to perform the no charge adjustments. 3/27 a.m. David, Steve and Anthony arrived, quickly and professionally tailored our space for us. Great company and team to work with!!!! They are really good at what they do.

Excellent. They were prompt and professional. Trent the designer listened carefully to our requests and gave us the closet of our dreams. To our surprise, the closet is even better than we thought it would be and gives us a feeling of space and light. Highly recommend the company.

We love the closet system that Econize designed and installed for our master bedroom 12 x 12 foot walk-in closet. My husband and I were used to having separate closets in our old house but have to share a closet in our new home. The Econize closet system makes sharing relatively painless. I love the way it looks. After we recently completed a basement bedroom in February 2015, we again contacted Econize to give us an estimate for a large walk-in closet there plus a large closet in our mudroom. Those two closet systems were installed on March 9, 2015, and look great. Wouldn't think of going with anyone else. I highly recommend this company.

Installers showed up on time, worked quietly and quickly. Did a great job.

The process was very smooth. We were given time to make our selections and modifications. The company and David were always available and worked to schedule an installation that worked and was expedited. The installers came ready for work and were self sufficient. I noticed that there was open space in the system that required filler and the guys did fill the space. We had to have them come back to fill additional space and to change out the hardware which they did. This prolonged the process and finish, but this was the only flaw in an otherwise smooth process.

I was very pleased. The island portion measurements were incorrect, and I addressed it. They made a mistake and corrected it immediately. I think that shows initiative, and I appreciated that. I found them to be very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

From start to finish, everything went better than my expectations. Trent was able to come up with a design that was far superior than other designs and did not use any sales gimmicks or tactics. The consultation and estimate was very professional and very enjoyable at the same time. The product and pricing they presented has the best overall value and we were happy with our choices. The communication provided by everyone in the company made the process very smooth. Everyone was very professional and knew what they were doing. The installation crew was also very professional and did a fantastic job at installing the product. Overall I would recommend this company again and again. My only regret was wasting time with other estimates when Econize should've been the first and only estimate.

With 3 kids, we desperately needed a mudroom installed. Trent, Noel, and everyone had Econize were great to work with. My only requirement was that any shelving or hooks installed had to be hidden behind doors so that if the kids didn't manage to put things away neatly, we could close the doors. Other than that, we went with their excellent suggestions for what options would work best. Their guys came out and installed a couple of days before Thanksgiving and had everything installed and cleanup up in just a few hours. We will definitely use them when we're ready to tackle our next project.

The planning session went very well. After looking at the closet and taking measurements, Trent developed the plans and they covered all the features I was looking for including colors, finishes and hardware. Trent was very helpful in answering all my questions too. A few days later, the installers arrived as scheduled and went right to work. Within 2.5 hours they were done, had cleaned up the work area, and I had a great new closet. The whole process was very professionally done and worth it.
