Description of Work: We obtained her services as our real estate agent. We are moving into a continuing care community. Since we don't know exactly when an apartment will become available, we wanted to start working with an agent now and preparing our house for sale instead of waiting until the last minute. Dianne was very understanding and very encouraging, especially congratulating us in doing things ahead of time.

She looked all over the Fairfax county area and when she found likely properties she did a market analysis showing me the value of the property and the expected rental income. Once a suitable property was found she arranged all the necessary inspections, helped negotiate price based on what he inspections found and accompanied me to trouble free closing. Once I purchased the property she directed me to service providers that she had experience with to do the required maintenance before I put the property on the rental market. She then was my rental agent and conducted tenant interviews and background checks in order to find good tenants. My experience with her throughout this whole process was extremely positive. She is a complete professional, easy to deal with, and was very knowledgeable about every step of this process.

Description of Work: Dianne Hansen was both our listing agent for the sale of our home in the Fair Oaks area and our buyer's agent when we purchased a home in Chantilly. At all times, Dianne truly had our best interests in mind. She gave us great advice on improving the curb appeal of our home and staging the interior. We were able to sell the home for an excellent price when the market was poor. She paid great attention to a myriad of details to ensure that the settlement occured smoothly. In representing us as buyers, Dianne showed us numerous homes and we never felt pressured to accept anything we did not want. We were able to obtain an excellent price on the purchase and again our settlement went very smoothly as Dianne followed through on all aspects of the closing.
