I never thought I was a picky person until I decided to buy a house. Dianne Hanson and Laurie Garden were a dream team like no other. After countless open houses and a several scheduled viewings I was beginning to loose hope that I would find what I wanted at a price I could afford. It took me 7 months to find my house but I could not be happier now that I am moved in and living there. Dianne and Laurie were very patient with me and guided me through every phase and process beautifully. I felt completely taken care of from start to finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone buying a new home and looking for a Real Estate agent. They are truly the best in my book!

If I could give Dianne Hansen a higher grade than an "A," I would not hesitate to do so. Dianne and her fellow agent Laurie Garden guided us through the process of selling a house through some difficult times. Our first open house was cancelled because of an ice storm. Other weekends elicited few prospective buyers, again because of the weather. I am a very organized person and, throughout the selling/showing process, I peppered Dianne and Laurie with MANY, MANY questions. My questions were always answered promptly and thoroughly. At no time did either of them show irritation or impatience at my questions. The moving service Dianne recommended was very reasonably priced (actually it cost LESS than I expected) and did an excellent job of moving us. They packed up our house in less than 3 hours and moved us into our new apartment in less than 2 hours. Nothing was lost, broken, or in any way damaged. I wish I had used the bank Dianne recommended for our bridge loan. I wanted to go with the bank I had been with for over thirty years. We needed a bridge loan to carry us for just two months. That bank (which will remain unnamed, but it goes by its initials) turned us down after an application process that took over a month and whose representatives were hard to contact. I turned to the bank recommended by Dianne and our bridge loan was processed and approved in less than two weeks! I have nothing but the highest praise for Dianne and Laurie. At the end of this long selling process, I felt they were part of our family. Our meetings were always very friendly, informative, and extremely productive. In a very tight market, I feel we got an excellent price for our house. I have absolutely no reservations of giving Dianne and Laurie an extremely high recommendation. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who would need a real estate agent.

The process of selling my home was very easy thanks to Bill Pries and Dianne. My house was on the market for 3 hours before we got the first contract. I didn't even have an open house. Dianne and Bill seem to be so in touch with what is going on in the market. This was the first house I sold and I was very nervous due to all the horror stories I have heard in the past. Bill withstood my nervousness and anxiety very well. He took it off my shoulders and put it on his shoulders. It was a very easy process and I did very well on the price.

We found Dianne on Angie's List, a very trusted web site. Dianne is fabulous, she is wonderful. She knows what she is doing. Dianne is professional, knowledgeable, and efficient in her real estate business. She went above and beyond and staged our home beautifully. As a team, Dianne and Laurie sold our townhouse in 3 days, and actually, there was a contract after 24 hours. We recommend this great team to everyone. With all our experience, we rate them number ONE!!!

We just recently sold our house through Dianne Hansen and Laurie Garden. We also purchased this house with Dianne, so have now experienced both sides of transaction with her. We could not have picked a better realtor or a nicer person to represent us. Because we relocate often, we've purchased a dozen or so houses over the years. I can say with complete confidence that Dianne is the most competent realtor I've ever used. Her attention to every detail is unmatched, and her superior expertise in the industry and local market provide complete confidence and a stress free experience. She was able to get our house sold in a buyer's market under complicated circumstances. We ended up with a very good contract and few, if any, compromises. They did an awesome job from helping me find the ideal home, to tendering an offer, to a painless settlement. I really enjoyed working with them.

They were very proffesssional and detailed in everything that they were a part of. They stood up for me on my buy when things got a little dicey which made me feel really good. They weren't all about the pay check they really cared. They wanted to make sure that I was getting want I wanted for the price that I felt comfortable with. Plus on the sale of my house they helped me get top dollar by the way they helped me set my house up and staged correctly. It was a very good learning and very interesting process for me. I thought all you did was put your house up and sell it, but these women really know there business, there is far more to it than that. If you don't give Dianne a chance to sell your house you are missing out on the best.

Last winter we stumbled upon the house of our dreams. We called Dianne and Laurie and they came right out and met with us. Then we found out the house was a "Short Sale" YIKES!!! Short sales can take a long, long, long time!! These ladies were really good at making this long frustrating process easy as pie. They were on top of everything and always responded to my calls or emails promptly which helped us from going nuts through this unpredictable journey. We I am so happy to report that not only did I get the house of my dreams but it only took 3 weeks (I know this not typical to go this fast, but IT DID) They were wonderful at getting us what we wanted and we got a great home for less than it was appraised for. We couldn't be happier!!!!!!!!! So, thanks Dianne and Laurie for your hard work and dedication! I strongly Advise that you use these ladies, they are wonderful!!!

My husband and I decided at the spur of the moment to sell our house. We needed to update so many things in our house before we could put it on the market that it was overwhelming to say the least. These ladies came in and brought (and THEY payed for it) a staging service called "Ta-Da" to help us decide exactly what needed to be done. It was SO helpful!!!!! They advised us what to change and what to leave alone. It really helped us decide where to spend the money that we had budgeted. With their help of staging I know that the price we got for the house was significantly higher than it would have been without the staging. I strongly encourage you to use Dianne and Laurie, they work great as a team. Selling your house is one of the most STRESSFUL things you can do. Dianne and Laurie were so calm and professional and we were so lucky to have them on our team!!

Dianne and her team were consummate professionals. We stared out house hunting in April and did not find our home until August. Dianne was so patient with us. We put their team through the ringer and they were always polite and knowledgeable. We were looking to relocate to Northern Virginia and we were coming into a competitive market without a competitive budget. They showed us many houses, ran out to look at houses for us (as we were not in town to see it ourselves), called in/wrote up several offers, helped us get out of a contract we realized was a mistake. All with a smile and excellent advise. Northern Virginia is a difficult market to navigate and Dianne was patient to explain how things worked up here. We were not always eager to see it for was it was and she was patient with us. When we did find our home they were so fast to get us in and get our offer in so that we would be the first offer in. The house was on the market less than 24 hours and we had it. She had great recommendations for inspectors and the closing was very smooth.

.This was the first time I every bought a place of my own. Dianne made this first time a fun and easy experence. I was never scared went it came down to doing the paper work to purchase my first home. She made this experence very easy by putting me incontact with the right people that she trusted and knew I would trust and treat me the way I should be treated when buying my first place. The whole experence took about two years. She was very understanding of my needs and what I was looking for. She was able to work with my crazy work hours. We would go look at homes at night, early in the morning and during lunch time. She would even give up her weekends for me to go house hunting. If you are looking for a great agent you can't go wrong.

Dianne and her team are wonderful and will go above and beyond! Our house was an uncommon model, which made it hard to price, at the bottom of a pipe stem. Despite these things our house sold for above our list price. If a question came up or we needed anything, we were reminded to "Ask my Realtor." She has a great network of professionals to help with staging, painting, flooring, and home inspection items. We could not be happier with the services provided by Dianne, Laurie and Bill. They were professional and very easy to work with from the start and provided all the services and information we needed in order to sell our home quickly and for the best price. In addition, they provided many additional valuable contacts along the way including a consultation with a home stage service at the start to the moving company we chose for our move. I contacted Dianne Hansen several months in advance to discuss selling my mother's condo once the tenant moved out. It was quickly clear to me that Dianne was very competent, communicated clearly and was just what I needed, as I lived out of state and would need to rely on her as the on-site presence. Dianne pulled together a team to meet me at the condo on the first day it was available. She already had a good feel for the specific competition the condo would be up against. The team included a stager, who quickly evaluated what needed to be done to get the condo to a condition that would enable it to compare well against other units on the market. It's starting condition was very dirty, with pet-stained carpets, needing paint and an overall face-lift to replace aging fixtures, etc. The stager keep in mind budget considerations, providing options for the renovations she recommended. Because we considered time of the essence, she produced a detailed report of her recommendations before she left the condo. The second key member of the team was a contractor who could handle all aspects of the renovation. Armed with the stager's report, he put together a quote before the day was out, adding his own ideas/options on further improvements. After I selected the final set of renovations -- with Dianne's perspective on which items would most materially affecting the condo's marketability -- the contractor had his folks immediately begin the renovations. The renovations included replacing all carpet, painting all walls, installing new kitchen countertops, putting in new tile flooring in both bathrooms, the kitchen and the entry, replacing both bathroom vanities and medicine cabinets, scrubbing the balcony to remove pet stains/smells, repairing wallboard damage, and installing new light fixtures everywhere. These items cost about $10K. Finally, the team included her real estate partner, Laurie Garden, which meant that either she or Dianne was always available to discuss items that came up during the process. The initial meeting with Dianne and her team took place on a Monday and the condo went on the market on Friday of the following week, complete with a great set of photographs showing off its new appearance. The feedback consistently received from other realtors was that it showed very well. Within 2 weeks, we had 3 offers, 2 of which were cash offers. The realtor for the cash offer I chose was a bit green, but Laurie went out of her way helping her complete the paperwork. And within a week after that offer, we closed on the condo. I had only spent less than 4 days in Virginia for the initial evaluation and kick-off of the renovations. In summary, Dianne Hansen was outstanding. I've sold a number of properties over the years and recognize excellence. The service she and the team she provided was just what I needed to sell this property quickly and at a fair price. I would recommend her without reservation.

Laurie Garden and Dianne Hansen, both were excellent. I gave them a call for selling my townhouse and they gave a lot of suggestion and information on the first day when we met. They worked with my family as an excellent team & as a friend. They advertised the house and sold it in a very reasonable time and for a better price. They are very knowledgeable and very proactive. I felt that I was in a one stop service. They took care of all the work internally with their excellent team. Me and my husband loved working with the team. Highly recommend them for buying or selling the house.

Dianne was very professional throughout all of our meetings and was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the home buying process. Dianne did a lot of research about each property prior to scheduling visits for us to see the homes, so that she was able to provide useful information to us about the quality of the house, HOA fees due, parking spaces available, useful facts about the surrounding community, etc. And when it came time to put in an offer, she guided us through all of the sales documents and ensured we fully understood the details of what we were signing and what to expect leading up to the closing of the deal. It was truly a pleasure to work with such a knowledgeable, friendly, and professional Realtor, and I would highly recommend Dianne to anyone else looking to purchase or sell their home.
