Work done was great, cleanup and customer service was great. They worked around our schedule to get the work done and beat a local competitors price by half, and the warranty on their attic fan was 10 years instead of 2 years for the competitor's fan.

I was VERY pleased with all aspects of the job. The gentleman were courteous, clean, efficient and just plain nice! Instructions for use of each fan and little differences in the operation of each fan were clearly explained. I can only end by saying this was a delightful experience with a delightful company! I would definitely recommend Dependable One Electric!!

Circuit Breaker box was making a buzzing noise after new A/C unit was installed. Wanted to make sure there was not a potentially dangerous problem. He came out the same day, checked everything out and explained that it was just a vibration that did not need repair.

Our tenant wasn't getting heat last winter. They thought that the heater was fine but that the thermostat was questionable. When they made the special trip there and purchased the new thermostat for us but found that was not the total problem. So he went into the attic and did something with the electrical wiring and it was boiling hot that day. He was very prompt, extremely polite and friendly. I think he did A+ work. He was extremely reasonable and would definitely use them again. Nick, the technician, checked out our electrical panel and said it was perfect when another company said that we needed a whole list of new things that we did not need. We had received two other estimates on the phone and they said it would probably cost around $500. They really went out of the way. There was no hassle of trying to talk me into something else that didn't need to be done.

They were prompt. They gave me a one hour window, which impressed me. The estimate was a lot less than others I had contacted. They took care of exactly what I needed done. At one point they had to go get another part, but they seemed happy to do this and did not charge me extra. They were very clean and considerate. I will gladly use this company for all my future electrical needs.

They have done dryer repair and have installed outside lights for us. We have used them a couple of times. My parents recommended them. They are really nice guys and they do good work. They don?t talk down to me about electricity. They explain things to me in a way that it doesn?t insult me.

Steve was on time, both for the initial appraisal as well as work date. Everything was completed and left as though he was not even there! Very satisfied, will use him again and refer his services too!!

Excellent. I sent email on 4/6/11 outlining services needed, received call back the same day with work scheduled for next day. Mike showed up on time and even called ahead to ensure agreed on time was still OK for me. Came in to work area, put down drop cloth on carpet and took fan down. Fan started working but Mike continued to check it out and tightened wire nuts. No further problem. Mike offered to install new CFL compliant remote unit in the future if the fan acts up again. He then proceeded to check out washer circuit. He identified mis-connected circuit and fixed that problem. Dependable one definitely meets or exceeds their reputation and Angie's list ratings.

I would highly recommend everything about them and were very good. It was just the one person but he was great. I think the thing that makes them particularly special is that this is the guy who I had struggled with his electrical problems. When he came I figured that they were going rip me off because I didn?t know what's wrong. I tried to fix it myself too. It was a big opportunity to take money from me if he wanted to. Instead he patiently diagnosed the problem and took about 30 seconds and explained to my why it happened and why I wouldn't have thought to do what he did. It was a circuit problem and I didn't realize that if there is a lose wire in another outlet besides the one that was going out, it would not blow a circuit breaker, it would just simply make the circuit go out. The light fixture wasn't working but the circuit breaker hadn't tripped. They confused me but he explained it all. He taught me how to fish and didn't just catch the fish for me.

I contacted Steve at Dependable One to replace two pull chain light switches. He was able to schedule me very quickly even though it was a small job. Steve came by as scheduled and performed the job as promised. He was very friendly and also volunteered the Angie's List coupon before I even asked. I am happy with his work and would use him again.

They are great guys who know their business. They are good, efficient and I give them top ratings

Having had a poor inspection prior to buying this home, I requested Steve and his assistant do some specific work and also check several things out while here. They were both polite/professional and informative. I anticipate calling them again for additional work that needs to be done.

We have had Steve or Mike complete several jobs for us and they are very professional, on time and helpful. Mike first helped us find a problem of a dimming light. It took a lot of investigation but finally found that the wires in an outlet outside of the room were lose. Between 2009 and 2010 we renovated 3 bathrooms ourselves and they did all of the light and fan installation for us. Our daughter has used their services as well. If we have any electrical issues in the future, Dependable One will be the company we call. We highly recommend them!

I had a buddy wire his own bathroom remodel in the spring convince me we could wire my bathroom ourselves. We ran the wiring, drywalled, and then my friend starting having questions how to wire the switches. Realizing we were in over our heads I called Steve. I had a home appraiser coming to my house next week so he fit me in from 6-9pm. He was patient, listened to what we did, and quickly reran some wiring being careful not to damage my finished walls and floor. He did a superb job, he worked very quickly, wiring the lights and correcting numerous errors my friend and I had made. He was very professional, came to my house after a 10 hour day to get me ready for the appraiser, and stayed late to finish the job without a complaint. I recommend him to absolutely everyone now!

Steve talked me through a diagnostic process; to unplug all things operating on the circuit and plug back in to see if we needed a new tv or an electrician. When I called back and reported he was able to tell me that the recent heavy rain had probably soaked into our outside outlets. Time and sunny weather would be the best repair. I will call him again with any more electrical business!!

Steve showed within the window he said he would. He was quick and efficient.

Everything went well. They charged a fair price, did a good job, and we would use them again.

We had a new dryer delivered at 9:00 in the morning and realized that it would not work with the existing 50 amp outlet. We called Dependable One at 11:00 am and they were at our house by 12:30 pm the same day and finished the work within 30 minutes. They were very professional and I would definitely use them again.

I was on time crunch and they came out the next day. Did a great job and cleaned up after themselves very well (including patching the drywall). Probably not the cheapest electrician but the quality is probably worth the extra cost. Its important to know the job will be done right and they made sure it was done right.

Steve asked me critical questions and suggested that the problem was a power company issue. But he did fit me into the schedule in case it needed more than he thought. Power company concluded that it was power company issue and commented that Steve has very honest in telling me to call power company. I cancelled electrician.

The guys were very nice and very helpful. We will use them again in the future.

Steve is very professional. We called at 8:30 in the morning as the breaker keeping tripping. He was busy in the morning, but would be see us in the evening. He arrived around 5:30 after calling to tell us he was on the way. He check the outlets and then the breaker box. It was hard to tell exactly what the cause was as the breaker only tripped every once in a while. So, he replaced the breaker circuit. He also suggested that we replace the surge protector.

He does an excellent job and does not over charge and will not do more work then needs to be done. He is very honest and shows up on time. And clean up when the job is done.

I purchased a foreclosed home that was very run down. The electrician checked out the electrical panel and went through the entire house checking every plug in the house and making repairs as needed. He was focused on his work, made many repairs and did an excellent job.

Steve and an asst came out on 6/16/08 and replaced my old stove vent hood with a new microwave unit I had purchased, replaced an overhead light and a wall switch for a garbage disposal. The microwave installation required a new outlet to be installed in addition to the labor intensive installation process. They were very exact and made sure the fit was correct and level for the microwave and the lighting fixture. Steve also was able to correct a slight bend in the lighting fixture (It came that way from the box.) Overall, a great job was done. I know there are other electrical guys who wouldn't have taken the time or care in making sure everything was right like Steve and his asst did. This was quality work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steve to anyone.
