If I could give him twelve stars, I would! Mr. Davis isn't satisfied to deliver 'good enough'; he wanted it to be perfect! The best part is, HE DELIVERS! Both my neighbor and I had our decks resurfaced at the same time. We got a good price, we were able to choose the colors we wanted, and the work crews were OUTSTANDING! My wife had a couple of concerns, and Mr. Davis went BEYOND the extra mile to make sure we were not just satisfied, but we would be excited with the outcome. He takes each job personally, and it's not finished until you are completely satisfied. I've already recommended him to a couple of neighbors who were looking, and don't mind showing off how things came out. From the very first call, (which was a good WEEK before the other contractors bothered to get back to me) to the personal visit, Mr. Davis was a great person to work with. With his advise on the best courses of action and the costs alternatives available, Mr. Davis was an honest, straight-shooting professional. He never tried to up-sell anything I didn't need, and really listened to what I was trying to accomplish. He told me he would do whatever I wanted, but recommended actions that I wouldn't have thought of. His sound reasoning and rationale displayed his experience in the task at hand. I felt it wasn't necessarily the job that was important, but my satisfaction with the results. HE wanted ME to be happy! One of the main things I look for is clean edges where the work abuts the house. The sign of true craftsmen are clean lines and no mess or splattering. Mr. Davis' crew did outstanding! I don't have the words to describe how pleased we are. our deck is better than new, and I can rest assured it'll be that way for a long time.

They truly rescued my deck! The deck had been power washed about a month earlier, but they power washed it again before sealing. What a difference! The crew worked incredibly carefully and thoroughly on all the spindles, pergola and lattice on my deck. I can't wait til we can have company to show it off.

Alexander Davis gave us a prompt quote following contact via Home Advisor. He set the appointment for work to begin and told us *if a time slot comes available before then, we will move you up.* He did! A week and a half early. The AD crew was on time, prepared and ready to deal with our collapsing front porch/eave/overhead. They did an excellent job - replaced the vertical postings, repaired, paint and replaced the side rails and painted the entire portico. Job WELL DONE. Timely,

Alexander’s crew repaired, power washed and colored out deck. They also cleaned our gutters. We are extremely satisfied with the results. I am totally in love with my deck, looks brand new: We have already recommended to friends, neighbors and would to anyone else looking to stain/color deck and clean gutters. Low priced and very responsive.

The company touts they are the highest rated construction firm in NoVa. Impossible to be true. Check Yelp before you hire. The team that did the work was fine, however, after hiring the company, the owner and estimator was a terrible know-it-all experience with delays and rude communication.

Great value for the excellent work performed on leveling our deck, replacing rotted boards and stairs and staining the entire deck without getting any stain on our new siding. Wonderful owner who went over everythign they would perform and an excellent skilled crew. They were very friendly and explained everything I asked about what they were doing. They did a great job on the roof and I was sufficiently impressed that I asked them to do the gutters also. They did a very good job on the gutters also. They work fast and the crew is excellent.

Had originally just needed a repair in the eve area where raccoons has caused some damage. They came and gave me a quote for it and then also told me they could repair my deck and add a new roof and repaint my whole house and gave me such an amazing price I couldn't turn it down. The workmen were incredible, hardworking, super nice men. They even stayed late Christmas Eve to finish everything up and had such amazing attentiveness to all the last minute detail. They are just absolutely fabulous people, if I could give them a higher rating I would in a heartbeat. They will always be first on my list to recommend to anyone!
