+ -1 moreCarlos should up on time, and did all the work he outlined, no surprises. Glad to know I can count on CM Air Conditioning to provide quality and excellent work. Next time I work with Carlos' company I hope it isn't under and emergency.
Description of Work: The furnace in my rental unit stopped heating, and I contacted CM Air Heat, run by Carlos whom we hired before. He looked at the 14yr old furnace and noticed that the unit had a small crack that could possibly leak carbon monoxide if left unattended. He fixed the furnace so it could function and provide heat, he also tested the carbon monoxide detector in the room and told us to keep an eye on the matter but he recommended replacement of the unit. He quoted us a price and my wife and I decided that carbon monoxide leak was too dangerous and Carlos quoted us a price worked with me on scheduling a day that would work for us to replace the furnace. So now we have a fuel efficient unit, last unit was only 80% if that, and this was the second time we had the unit fixed. I was not happy to find out that the furnace broke, but Carlos did not scare or pressure me into a new unit.

+ -1 moreIt runs much more strongly now, following the cleaning and charging. However, at first they did not solve the rattle. But they gave us a 30-day warranty, so I asked them to come back. They returned within a week and fixed the rattle with no additional charge. They were courteous. Carlos, the owner, came out the first time, and explained the issue to me by phone during the second visit. They were polite, and on the second visit they were extremely punctual, arriving just before 8:00 a.m. in the District. I would use them again.
Description of Work: We called them because the air conditioner was buzzing and ratting. They chemically cleaned the dust from the inside of the air handler for our air conditioner, and charged up the A/C with freon, I believe. They also separate coils that were rattling against each other.
