Century Bathrooms & Kitchens

We wanted to completely redo and enlarge our existing kitchen. Based on the space available our kitchen was specifically and individually designed to fully utilize every inch of space. In fact, we made no changes to the original design that was presented to us for consideration. The quality of the work is superb. All the workers were pleasant and very polite. We were not present during most of the kitchen project.....we gave Erika the key and did not worry about the honesty of the workers. The advantage of using Century Bathrooms and Kitchens is that they control all phases of the project from start to finish using their own employees. I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend them for their honesty, fair price and quality of work.

We could not be happier with the results! Our new kitchen is incredible. When we moved into our townhouse we decided to remodel the kitchen and found Dan and Erika from Angie's List. We met with them a few times prior to the renovation. When they first gave us the estimate it was slightly higher than we anticipated, but they were extremely flexible and willing to work with us to get the price as low as they could. That was one of the reasons why we went with Century in the first place was their willingness to work with us and make sure that we were happy with what was going to happen. When we went to sign the contract they could tell we were extremely nervous as this was our first renovation in our first home so they said they would take off the cost of the painting that needed to be done. In total it didn't save us a ton of money but the fact that they would do that made me feel a lot more comfortable with them. They are real people and not just a company trying to make money. The first day of renovations, they were running a little late getting to our house, but Erika made sure to text me all through out the morning to let me know what was going on, why they were late, and when they would arrive. A little rocky of a start, but things definitely improved. I tried to stop in almost everyday (we weren't living in the house at the time) to check up on things. Kevin, the head contractor, was there almost everyday and made sure that we knew what work was going on that day, what the plan for the next few days were, and that we were involved in the process from start to finish. Although we had a few hiccups with miscommunication about timelines and when things would be finished, the work was completed before their original planned completion date and they were always apologetic about miscommunication/inaccurate timelines (even when it was totally out of their control). By the end of the 4 weeks we were living there and they made sure to keep the house as dust free as they possibly could because they knew we were there. All of the employees were very respectful and willing to answer any and all questions we had. Kevin, Kelly, Kay, Milton, and others who were in and out were always willing to drop whatever it was they were working on when we showed up and answer whatever questions we had. Made me feel really comfortable with the whole process. We could always reach Kevin, Erika, or Dan by text or phone call which made things go much smoother. As I said originally, we could be happier with the results and we most certainly would use Century again

The job was completed in a timely manner and according to my schedule. I was very pleased with every aspect from beginning to end. The craftsmanship is exceptional and I couldn't be more proud every time I step into my new bathroom. The gentleman who did the physical work were punctual,clean and friendly. They quite obviously take great pride in doing a good job. Mr. Ptak would check on the work frequently and followed up with me afterwards to be sure I'd had no issues to be addressed.

After having been through a kitchen renovation previously, I was not looking forward to the process of selecting a company to do one in our current home. From the moment I met with Erica Daniel and Kevin at their show room I felt good about using this company to do the work. They did an outstanding job designing our new kitchen. From beginning to end the whole process was very easy. They took care of everything including cabinetry the countertops all the plumbing all the electrical the painting drywall light fixtures faucet, floor tile, backsplash tile. We selected everything at their show room. All of their workman were very courteous and polite and cleaned up every day and respected our home. We could not be happier with The final product. We will be using them for our master bathroom in the future. I highly recommend this company. Very professional and considering the quality of their work was a great value.

We are loving our kitchen more every day There are so many details involved when undertaking a remodel of this nature both on the contractor's end and the homeowner's. Dan and Erika Ptak are a pleasure to work with; they have a genuine concern for satisfying the customer's needs and creating a beautiful space in one's home. Kevin, project manager, and his crew have always been responsive regarding schedules, questions, concerns and requests; they are truly skilled in the work they do.

It was such a pleasure to work with Century owners, Dan and Erika Ptak. From our very first meeting in their showroom we were impressed with their suggestions, materials, and professionalism. We received a complete itemized quote from Dan within a day that specified materials to be used with exact models and serial numbers. We liked the way they they worked to enhance our vague ideas with helpful suggestions, and their flexibility when we made changes to the size of the shower and wall niches during construction. Erika ensured that our whole house was left clean at the end of the process. The final result of this project far exceeds my expectations. Erika frequently voiced that they wanted us to be completely happy...and we are!

I got a quote from them, they even ended up doing the work. They did a full bathroom remodel. Basically they left the dry wall but everything else, there was the dry wall and the toilet everything else was taken out. Tub, all tiles new vanity all of it. It was great we only have one toilet and so they ended up re-seating the toilet. Every time that they could, there was like one night or like two separate nights not consecutive that we had to go without a toilet, but every other time we were able to re-seat the toilet for us. They showed up when they said they would and got the work finished by the time they said they would because my in-laws was visiting so I needed it to be done. It was great, I'd use them again.

Everyone at Century Bathrooms was wonderful to work with. Straight answers, reliable, budget minded, and honest. Showed up on time, did a WONDERFUL job, and delivered as promised. I will certainly be using them again!

Erika and Dan did a wonderful job helping me select materials and come up with a modern and open look for a small townhouse kitchen. Kevin had some great ideas about how to maximize space and minimize cost. He and his crew are fabulous! Kevin took care of all the details during the remodel and kept me up to date on his progress with pictures on the days when I could not be present. It is a delight to work with a company that gets high quality work done on-time and on budget.

All in all our project went very well. We had a few delays, but they were not the fault of Century Bath. The team was professional, on time and very friendly. We had to remodel our bathroom because it was installed incorrectly by the builder. We are confident that are bathroom is now done correctly and will stand the test of time. And the bonus is that it looks great! We are very happy with our finished product!

From the initial consultation with Daniel and Erika in their showroom, throughout the project working with Kevin, project manager, and his crew, to final and timely completion of all three (3) bathrooms, we were highly impressed with the following: *professionalism of all involved *quality of the work performed *competitiveness of the price *detail of the proposal *communication regrding particulars throughout the project *responsiveness to our requests *concern for the impact of our daily routine. And, of course, THE BATHROOMS ARE STUNNING!!

Procuring the estimate was efficient and professional. Price was higher than we had budgeted, but company had done work for two family members in the area, we were told they were wonderful to work with and their end product was gorgeous, so we hired them. We worked with Lynn and Dan and were given great advice/guidance on the products for the bathroom. They even agreed to re-use the vanity/faucet and towel and toilet paper holders that we had purchased and installed in our attempt to do the work ourselves. Work commenced as scheduled, and took about the amount of time that was estimated. At the end of the project, Dan and Lynn conducted the final inspection of the bathroom with us. I was unhappy with one aspect of the tiling around the tub, but I didn't say anything because the fix would have required removing, re-aligning and re-attaching the tile in the problem area. Lynn, however, noticed the same problem and had the tiler fix it before we made our final payment. We were quite impressed!! It has been over a year now since work was completed (and we are out of the warranty period). The house occupant told us that the grout was coming out at the line between the tile and bathtub. It seems no one noticed during our final inspection that the bathtub was never caulked. Upon notification by me that the caulk was missing from the initial job, the company ordered the caulk and sent someone out to rectify the problem. We are very satisfied with Century Bath and will be using them in the future to remodel several bathrooms in our primary residence. We highly recommend them.

This was the second bathroom remodel completed for me by Century Bathrooms. I was so pleased with the work done to remodel my master bathroom 9 months earlier that I knew I wanted Century Bathrooms to do the hall bathroom remodel. They demolished the entire bathroom, replaced the subflooring, tile, bath tub, toilet and vanity. Daniel and Erika worked with me to keep costs down and to select the tile, paint, faucets and vanity top that made an outdated neglected bathroom into something truly beautiful. Daniel and his team answered all my questions and, as had been the case before, were responsive and attentive to detail. This is a company that adds a personal touch to the work they do and is truly invested in the relationships they build with their clients.

They came out to give us a rough estimate and we liked the process. We went to their office and selected the flooring and the tile. We had a go a little back and forth and finally signed the proposal. What I liked about them was that they did the project straight through. They have a crew pretty much all the time and they took about a week and a half to do one bathroom and they took another 2 weeks for the second one. They are very responsive to emails.

I have been dealing with Century for years and I wanted to take the time to send some praise their way. Most recently I needed toilets replaced, 4 of them. I was pleased with the job from start to finish... From the reasonable price quote to the hauling away of the old toilets, everything went very smoothly and was completed in a timely manner. We had a water leak in the hallway bathroom tub over the Christmas break. We had thought about remodeling the bathrooms for a while so this gave us the push to get it done. We used Angie's List and contacted four contractors, all had high ratings. What sold us on going with Century Bathrooms was their ability to listen to our desires, making recommendations, and finally providing a very detailed proposal. Daniel and Erika spent two hours answering all of our questions and showing us the tile, cabinets, faucets and other material we could use. We knew exactly what we were getting and how much each item costs. The other proposal we received made it hard to know what products they were planning on using and it was time consuming to keep asking for more details. Century Bathroom's proposal wasn't the lowest or highest bid but we felt the most comfortable with it and it offered the best value. The project started on the agreed upon date. The workers were courteous, professional, and hard working. They showed up at 8 am ready to work. They took care to cover the floors with drop cloths and to clean up at the end of the each day. The bathrooms were gutted down to the studs on day one and the project moved smoothly. Kevin, the supervisor, was very good at asking questions to make sure they were placing the lights, towel bar, niches, etc., in the right place. He also let us know every day what was planned for the next day and how the project was progressing. The skill level of the workers is very high, we were very pleased with their workmanship. Their attention to detail is evident, especially in their tile work. The project ended on time and for the exact cost as projected in the proposal, plus and minus the items we changed during the construction. There were no surprises, unlike other renovations we've had done on the house. Overall, we are very happy we chose Century Bathrooms. It's a great company from top to bottom. We love the way our bathrooms turned out. Highly recommended.

The project went very well. The contractor took care to cover furniture with plastic and put up a plastic shield to keep a dust from finding its way into the house. The contractor also put down drop cloth to protect carpet and hardwood flooring leading from the worksite to the exterior front door. After completing the demotion, which included removal of a pocket-door, the contractor expertly staged the remaining work which included installing a new sink and cabinet, toilet, shower and tile. We are very happy with the new bathroom and the quality products and tile. An outstanding job.

They were absolutely outstanding. The work is beautiful. The design work was excellent. The individuals who did the work were gracious, accommodating, effective, and responsive. I've had bad experiences in the past and was sensitive to the work they would do. One of the workers went out of his way to take a bag of recycling to my door. I was very impressed. I love the finished bathroom. There was nothing they needed to come back and fix.

It was a delightful experience to work with Dan and Erika to design our new master bathroom -and the crew that completed the work was top-notch (Kevin, Milton, Justin - and Romero). Having folks who understood the plumbing elements as well as the design options was extremely helpful. Everything was finished on-time, on-budget, and the work area was kept neat throughout the project. I would hire them again in an instant - in fact we are considering redoing several other bathrooms and our kitchen soon and it is nice to know exactly who I will turn to for the work.

We had two bathrooms remodeled and a shower replaced in a third bathroom. We had interviewed 3 other companies as well but chose Century because we felt we would get exactly what we wanted and be treated well. Daniel and Erika and their team were great to work with. We recently moved to the area and bought a home that has three bathrooms. The bathroom for the master bedroom was so small that one of us started using the hall bath. This was also the main bathroom for the first floor. Besides being outdated and ugly, we needed a bathroom that would be functional for everyday use as well as having that WOW factor for all our guests. We interviewed four bathroom contractors. Immediately we could tell that Daniel Ptak owner of Century Bathrooms shared our vision. The bathroom was small, but he suggested ways that would make it look bigger. We went to his showroom and with suggestions from him and his staff we picked out all the materials. We were given a starting date, and just as promised, his workers showed up!!! Not just on time, but early. They were wonderful!. Showed up everyday on time and did not leave without cleaning up every night. They were very professional and extremely hard working. And, best of all, the work was completed in two weeks just as promised. The bathroom turned out absolutely gorgeous. Definitely the WOW factor we were looking for. We did have one small problem with the mirror frame that had to be replaced twice. However, Daniel stayed on top of the matter until we were perfectly satisfied. I can not say enough wonderful things about this company. If you are looking for a professional, courteous and skilled bathroom specialist, you should definitely use Century Bathrooms. I'm sure we will have them back to redo our other bathrooms.

From the first phone call Daniel and Erika were wonderful. They both helped with ideas and suggestions and the result was amazing! Erika even accompanied us to Nekka granite to make sure the granite we chose would match well with the cabinet and tile. We got several estimates from other companies both high and low and their price was very reasonable. Beware of those that give you a low low price...you will get what you pay for. Daniel, Erika, and their entire crew make you feel as though they are personally vested in a beautiful result. The crews showed up on time everyday, worked on weekends and adjusted to any changes we threw at them. They also cleaned up each day. Save all the time and hassle it takes to get estimates from several companies. Century bath is the experience, price, and result you are looking for!

Although there were a couple of touch-ups that were needed and I also needed to wait a few extra weeks because I ordered an over the toilet vanity after the job had started, the finished bathroom looks fabulous. Daniel, the owner, was incredibly responsive to every e-mail and phone call and his wife, Erica was incredibly helpful in assisting me with paint color. I appreciated Daniel's flexibility and also his patience as I went through various decision making processes. This is a company that really values establishing relationships with the customer and not just getting the mechanics of a job done.
