Description of Work: Luis came out to perform a level 2 chimney inspection. Luis was on time and took photos of the chimney. He also wrote up a service report that identified a crack in the terra cotta flue liner and that the concrete crown would need to be replaced. He also identified that the caulking needs to be reset along the metal flashing. He quoted a very good price for the repairs needed.

+ -1 moreI called on Monday and Luis Lavalle came out that afternoon. He went up on the roof and confirmed what needed to be done. He took pictures with his cell phone and showed me the current condition. He provided me with a bid on the spot and we agreed on having the work done the following Thursday. I was told that as long as water was available, it wasn't necessary for anyone to stay home. I provided Luis with approximately 1/3 deposit. I came home on Thursday and was able to see that the work had been done but there was no evidence of it on my property - no mess left behind. Luis said I could mail the remaining balance after the work was complete.
Description of Work: Remove and replace the chimney crown and cap.

Description of Work: Capitol Chimney has provided many services for me over the last few years. I worked with them for repointing chimneys, damper replacement, flue liner replacement, chimney crown replacement, fireplace cleaning/inspections, repointing exterior bricks on a house as well as duct cleaning. Every time I work with Luis his honesty, professionalism, fair price and excellent service make him my only referral for work.
