I originally tried to contact them 4/24, again 4/26, and a couple more calls by 4/29. No response. Called another number on 5/4 (thought it was another company, but it turned out to be another employee, Jorge, who was more responsive). Had an email exchange on 5/4, they were going to come out that week. It rained a lot in May, so that week didn't happen (I didn't hear from them, but didn't worry about it because it was raining). Mid-May it looked like we were going to get some drier weather; they came out on 5/16 and I paid and signed the contract. On 5/17, I sent an email asking to schedule a time for the powerwash on the 19th or 20th, but got no response. On 5/24, I called and emailed, with no response. Sent another email on 5/25 and 5/26 with no response (the main email address). On 5/26 I sent an email to the direct email address of an employee, who set an appt. for Friday 5/27 around noon. Salomon finally showed up around 6 or 7 and completed the powerwashing. He said they would to the seal/stain early the next week. Monday was Memorial Day, so I didn't expect to hear anything. Didn't hear from them on Tues. 5/31. Emailed twice on 6/1 asking to be scheduled; no response. Emailed again 6/2; they scheduled me for that afternoon, but no one showed up. Emailed on Friday 6/3; they said they would do it that afternoon. Got a call from the Jorge around noon saying it was going to rain (didn't rain till 5), so they would reschedule. Sent an email Sunday 6/5; they said they would come out on 6/6, but never showed up. On 6/6, I wrote an angry email saying (after 2 no-shows) I wanted to hear from them by the end of the day, and I wanted the job complete by the end of the day Friday 6/8. Sent emails again 6/7 and 6/8; they have never responded. I am done with these people. I've filed a complaint with the Fairfax County Consumer Affairs, and I'm asking for a portion of the money to be returned. I will never deal with them again. They did not respond to 2/3 of my calls and emails, which is a lousy way to treat your customers - to say nothing of not doing the job you've been paid to do.
Description of Work: The provider was supposed to powerwash and stain/seal the deck. The powerwashing was done and they did a decent job. They set up a time to come out and do the stain/seal twice, and never showed either time. I've been trying to contact them since, with no results. About 2/3 of my calls and emails never got a response.

Called Capital Powerwash (CP) mid-week to set up an estimate visit; Salomon (GM) came to the house that Saturday to walk through and provide a quote. Estimate was reasonable and discount was also offered. CP personnel (Joey) arrived within the scheduled arrival window; he was very courteous and thorough in his pre-work walk-through. Joey was diligent (never saw him take what I would call a break over 5 hours of work) and flexible in working through the multiple jobs, adjusting to the comings and goings of our dog, childrens' friends and neighbors on a busy Saturday. He was very meticulous and conscientious in what was an incredibly arduous and VERY messy set of tasks; his attention to detail remained consistent over the course of the job. When complete, the transformation was astonishing, night and day; our deck and concrete slab looked brighter and cleaner than they did when we purchased the house. Joey offered to return, upon request, to touch up or hit any spots missed that we might find later. We were extremely happy with the results and thought the work was VERY much worth the investment. Would recommend CP and would call them again for future work.
Description of Work: Power washed all areas of deck, concrete slab (approx. 20x45 FT), front steps and walkway, and white window and house trim on brick house.
