He was late although he called to say he would be. He and his helper got right to work on my 1/2 bath. I was quoted $200.00 to paint, change light fixture, remove and install new toilet and rehang tp holder and towel rack. We didn't get the toilet so he didn't have to do that part. I looked at the work after it was finished quickly (I just assumed that they were fast because they knew what they were doing) and it looked ok wet. When it came time to pay, I asked home much it would be since he hadn't done the toilet, I didn't know how much it would now be. He told me $200. I said why, you didn't do the toilet and that amount included that? Only after I questioned him did he lower it by only $25.00. After it dried the next day, there were TONS of bad places, drips in the paint, bad edging, many errors were visible. While he was here he also looked at other things, he was supposed to send the estimate via email and never sent me the estimates for that work. Not that I would use him again. I emailed him but got no reply and tried to call once. It was then I went to the BBB. They took my complaint and sent it to him. It went back in forth a few times and it finally came down to he claimed that I repainted the bathroom after he left and screwed it up myself just to make him look bad. Uh, why would I do that????? I had pics even to prove the work was bad and he told the BBB that he had tried to come back to repair the work. I told him yes, I wanted it fixed but he never did it. It was all for show for the BBB. The ended up just closing the case because the $ amount was too low and didn't warrant any type of litigation. He lies! He did get to the bank very fast to cash my check though! BEWARE!!!!

I foolishly paid him cash, and he never came to do the job. He has not returned any phone calls or emails.
