Outstanding job! The work was completed on schedule, within budget. I was able to make some changes to the design during construction without changing the price. Professional crew was a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends.

Estimate was very reasonable and agreed upon work was completed in less than 2 days. Work and craftsmanship were excellent and work areas were professionally maintained during the work period. No construction materials were left behind and the site had great curb appeal when they departed.

What I gather is that the business was once owned by Sunny Darhele's father, who has passed away, so now it is run by Sunny and his uncle. A co-worker had wonderful work done by the company under its previous ownership a few years ago. They quoted us a price that was impossible to beat, because it was impossible to do the job for that price we discovered. They attempted to alter our contract from what we agreed upon, forgot to show up the day work was supposed to begin (they finally came after my husband called them to ask what was going on). They weren't prepared for the work to be done--they needed a jackhammer to demolish some steps before pouring new ones, but didn't bring it so they had to leave the job to get one. They did about a day of demolition, then we discovered damage to one of our cars that evening when we went out. They had their truck parked right next to the car and had been loading chunks of concrete into it all day with a rickety wheelbarrow, but they swore they didn't do it. They then accused me of attempting to extort them for a car repair, that it had already been damaged and we were trying to trick them. They came over the next morning, Sunny agreed to pay but his uncle overrode him, so we demanded back our full deposit, which they did eventually send. Sunny, as the new owner, doesn't seem to have a good grasp of the type of work he is involved in (cost and process), after that debacle we went with a different company, and it turns out Darhele was going to do the concrete slab layer all wrong anyway, so I guess it was a blessing in disguise...

My overall experience with this company was frustrating. The driveway work was fine, albeit a bit sloppy. I would not recommend this company for foundation work. I ended up having to fix part of my project myself that wasn't done correctly.

Darhele Associates are true professionals. They were recommended by our landscaper and they could not have been a better partner on our large outdoor project. Each day they arrived on-time and ready to work. Our backyard patio went from a large concrete eyesore to a beautiful outdoor room in just four days. There prices were very competitive and were accurate, no hidden fees or additional add-ons. I would not hesitate to recommend Darhele Associates. Our home has been completely transformed, thanks to Darhele Associates.
