I can not say enough great things about this small business. From them arriving on time to getting me to my new home within a few short hours. I have very heavy furniture and most of it is anitques, you would have thought they owned it by the care they took with my items. They were very prefessional but we also had me laughing most of the day. I have moved many times during my life and wish they would have done all the moves for me.

I contacted the provider about 3 weeks ago and we spoke on the phone about relocation costs out of state. I gave the provider my number and he was supposed to call me back. That did not happen. So I filled out the quote request on his site and got a response that did not fully answer all the questions about cost for an out of state move. Specfically to get a cost he only the response was " depending on how long it takes us at the house, plus road trip hours, plus unloading. If, its 2 movers our set price is $375 for first 3 hours and service is charged at $100 after. 3 movers $475..... plus gas and return home half price. ". Based on this response I had to figure gas and time. I then called back as I wanted a accurate estimate of costs so, left a message and finally got a return call days later saying he was on the road in NC and to give a call. This is all well and good, but as a business practice, and in the moving business I was expecting a response a bit sooner. By this time I decided to hire someone else. I would have expected him to schedule a visit to see what was being moved to provide a real and accurate estimate, but then again maybe my expectations were a bit too high. They may be a good company and provide good service, but really need to improve on the communications.

I contacted this moving company based on anglieslist reviews for our move from Virginia to Florida. Upon initial contact they were very responsive and polite. We made an appointment to have someone come out for a quote and after waiting 30 minutes after the time he was supposed to be here and had not shown, we decided to call him to see if he was still coming. We called multiple times and the phone just went to voicemail. To his defense, we later found out that he did try calling the house phone, which had been disconnected (but when the appointment was made he never asked for a phone number). When we finally got in touch with him he was lost and could not tell us where he was and said his GPS was not getting him to our home. We gave him instructions on how to get to our home after finally figuring out where he was... or so we thought. He had no idea where he was or what town he was in. Wouldn't you stop and ask at that point? He somehow ended up in the next town over. We asked him to put the high school in his GPS which is located next to our home and said it wasn't finding the high school! At that point we decided we would not go with a company that can't even find a home in their own state to move us 1000 miles away. Wouldn't you look and make sure you know where you are going and know how to get somewhere before you go? A company that should be doing this on a constant basis should not have this much of an issue knowing where you are and understanding directions.

HIRE THEM NOW! They are the best in the business. I have used many and by far Duker's is OUTSTANDING. Got there on time, no nics at the house and NO breakage. Johnny and Rich were professional and very friendly. AND they never stopped working. I will use them in June when I move into my new house. Don't wait; you may beat the price but you will get sub-par service from others. DUKER'S Movers are the BEST! Thank you Johnny and Rich for making my moving day a breeze. Like I said...DON'T WAIT, hire them now.

Some other men took some items to a storage unit, but they threw the items in there and just left them. This company saved the day. They came and had everything loaded in the unit correctly within two hours.

The move went very well. The movers were punctual and courteous arriving on time ready to work. The owner of the company was onsite and was helpful in going over their guaranteed paperwork, providing clear explanation of the services being rendered and the cost associated. The guys finished ahead of time and Johnnie the owner was gracious enough to knock-off of few bucks due to their early finish time. Of the three moving companies I contacted in the area, Duker's Movers quoted the lowest price and provided excellent service. I will definitely use their services again in the future. I will recommend Duker's Movers to anyone seeking a moving company.

Duker's provided exceptional service. I initially called Duker's to get an appraisal and to see if they were available on my date. Johnny (the owner) IMMEDIATELY called me back and talked to me about price and the items I needed moved. He was very accomodating about time and worked with me to ensure that I got the price that I needed. Approximately one week before my move I had an illness in the family and called Johnny to see if we could change the moving date. He was INCREDIBLY flexible and let me change the date right away. This type of flexibility and willingness to work with me on price was just one of the reasons I think Duker's is a great moving company. On the day of my move, Johnny (the owner) and one other gentlemen (I'm sorry I forgot his name) came to perform my move. They showed up on time and immediately got started. The worked efficiently, carefully and quickly. They did a great job getting all of my stuff (some of which was difficult to transport because of size and because I lived on a third floor walk up) into the truck. Both guys were great - nice and funny and very easy to talk to. The worked continously and were very careful with my belongings and even helped me transport a few items to a dumster nearby. Then they drove to my new house and unloaded. They unloaded very quickly and coordinated with me to make sure that everything got placed in the proper location. All in all I was extremely pleased with Dukers and I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I was extremely happy with the job they did. I have moved several times having been in the military, and every time was very stressful and some were disasters -- movers who could've cared less and damaged furniture, etc. Duker's Movers made it stress free and I would definitely use them again if I need a mover. They were fantastic.

I used Johnny's service to move from Stafford to Arlington. The move went quite well and the guys were tremendous. Johnny came with his crew,. I used a 3 man crew and I am glad I did. I had tons and tons of boxes and extremely heavy furniture. They were well spoken and dressed in bright yellow to match their truck. My move was long but they did not stop to take a break. I was moving from a 2 bedroom apt plus den on a 2nd floor with no elevator. I moved to an over sized 1 bedroom to a building with a service elevator. I did not stop to think about providing a meal for us; so in the future, I will order pizza as the day was quite long. My belongings were well cared for and they stayed and set up the furniture where I needed it placed. I highly recommend Johnny Dukker and would use him again. Great guys; all of his crew

Johnny and his crew were great and I would definitely use Dukers again. Johnny was very flexible - it was not a problem when our closing was delayed a week and we needed to reschedule. He let us choose a start time for the day, and then he arrived about 30 minutes early. Most communication was done via email (my preference), although whenever we called Johnny always answered his phone. They provided blankets to protect furniture. There were no hidden charges or fees, e.g., for blankets or mileage or gas. Johnny and his crew were professional, very friendly, courteous, clean. Work started at the storage unit at about 8 (again, they were early; it was us who got there at 8). We opted for a 4 man crew. They were very efficient, never "slacking" or taking excessive breaks to try to stretch out the amount of time the move would take. In fact, Johnny was careful not to charge us for time spent on breaks. When they got to the house, they were careful with our things, careful not to scratch our wood floors, not to track mud on our carpets. The whole move was wrapped up by 2:30pm. I don't recall the exact breakdown of charges, but if you go to the Dukers website and submit a request for info, Johnny (the owner of the company, Johnny Dukers) emails you all of the pricing info. There's an initial charge for the first 3 hours ($575 for a 4-man crew) and then an hourly rate after that. I highly recommend Dukers Movers.

It was easy to contact Mr. Duker and receive an estimate. He and his assistant arrived on time and carefully explained the terms of the contract. He and his assistanct loaded his truck. Mr. Duker was professional and easy to deal with. On the other end, the items were quickly unloaded and placed to a second floor apartment. He set up the bedframe and placed the mattress. Nothing was damaged. In short, it was a pleasant experience. .

Recommended by the folks at the storage place where I intended to store my boxes. They recommended John Duker, the owner of the moving company who responded quickly to my request and picked up the goods when they said they would. A big help to me was the fact that John Duker uses email to verify details making it easy to schedule.

At the end of the day I was satisfied with the overall service. They 2 men were courteous and worked very hard.

Johnny is a very caring, polite person. He is careful with his work as not to damage anything. I would recommend them to anyone.

Johnny and his crew unloaded our storage unit he previously loaded and put all the contents into a U-Pack Relocube. The bedroom furniture had great sentimental value as it belonged to my wife's late grandmother. Johnny and crew carefully wrapped each item and shored up the stack of furniture to prevent damage in the relocube for the long journey to Arizona.

The owner, Johnny, and his 3-man crew did an excellent job. I contracted for a 4-person crew to move me to a new home a quarter mile down the road. I purchased the 4-movers option in the hopes of a quicker move. The option included three hours minimum followed by a fixed hourly rate. They showed up at 7:00 a.m. with a 24-ft truck as agreed. Johnny was part of the crew and made sure everything was neatly stacked in the truck. The crew was friendly, professional, and took care with handling my property. They loaded and delivered two full truck loads after 12.5 hours. Bottom line: I was very pleased with his service. They did a great job and his rates were competitive. I was slightly disappointed it took that long to move me considering we already packed all the non-furniture stuff. The long hours in the summer heat obviously weared on the crew and slowed things down...but still. I gave an "A" for the price as the rates were competitive and the end result was a safe move with no damage. I'd use them again, but try to firm-up an estimated duration next time.

Duker's Movers arrived exactly when they said they would arrive. The owner, familiarized himself of the delicate situation we were facing having to replace a bedroom set with a hospital bed, and he was very unintrusive in my grandmother's apartment. Loading of the antique bedroom set was done with care and respect, and each piece was carefully wrapped with quilted mover's blankets. Unloading at the strorage unit was exactly the same and also done with care. Thank you Mr. Duker for making this diffucult task less stressful!

Their service was great. We had them for 14 hours and it was a very long day. I would highly recommend them to others.

Went very well despite 100 degree temperature. They met their commitment for time and price and did a good and careful job unloading our 16' moving truck. Very professional. I would not hesitate to call upon them again.

I have a disability and he was a very valuable person to me. He was exceptionally kind and caring with me. I would highly recommend him. I have no negative memories at all of this experience. He was always on time.

Overall it ended up being a long day for all involved being there was soo much furniture and belongings to move but it went very well from start to finish with no complaining by any of the workers.. just smiles.

We have quite a bit of heavy furniture, including a piano, grandfather's clock, and treadmill. We also had two full bedroom suits, a large dining table that had to be disassembled to move, a gas grill, pation furniture, and three couches. We had a couple estimates; the others were about double the price that Duker's Movers quoted us. The company did a great job--they showed up a few minutes before they were scheduled and got to work promptly. They worked diligently for about 8 hours to move all our belongings. Before leaving, they made certain that all the furniture was placed where we wanted it and any pieces that had to be disassembled were put back together. The final price was based on the actual time it took them to complete the move. The final price was right in line with the quote. We were very pleased with the service of Duker's Movers and would highly recommend them to friends.

Everrything was packed by me so I did not have to wait for packing. I helped at the storage facility since there was an entire aparment's worth of items there. Everything was accomplished in 4 hours from start to finish.
