Showed up right on time and had everything in the truck in 3 1/2 hours, slightly longer then the estimate but we had a lot of stuff to move. Followed me to the new house and unloading went very smoothly. Faster then loading as we were moving into a one level place. Very careful with everything, no damage to anything. Driver called me while loading to come upstairs as they had to take some drawers out of a cabinet and came across some wallets. I told him not to worry about it as I could tell these guys were honest. For $50 extra they took several items to the regional dump that we didn't want to keep. In conclusion if you use another moving co. u might do as well but u couldn't do better.

Excellent company! I hired Dukers Movers to help load a moving trailer. Johnny and Richard had it loaded in no time. Unfortunately, we weren?t able to fit everything in. Johnny and Richard came back out the next day and helped load everything into a truck. They are hard workers, very respectful, and took care of our belongings. I called several companies and Dukers Movers were definitely the best deal. I highly recommend Dukers Movers!

Johnie is an amazing man! He is punctual and very personable. I have used him 3 times now. All 3 moves went very smoothly including all my mother in law's antiques. His helpers are very kind and smile through all the hard work. I fed them sandwiches, chips, and fresh fruit and drinks. They were appreciative of all. The time estimate went longer than expected, but we worked it all out. I couldn't be happier with Johnie and the way he works. I would use his services again and again.

If you're current or former military and have ever had to move, you are probably very familiar with the horrors of locally-contracted moving companies. My experience was not one of those. Johnny and his crew were by far the best team of movers that I have ever dealt with. They arrived 10 minutes early, did a quick walkthrough with me, and quickly got to work. There was no slouching or slacking off during the entire move and they finished almost 45 minutes ahead of schedule. All of my furniture arrived intact, unbroken, and unscratched. From the time I called to verify available dates to the time the job was finished they were absolutely polite and professional. Are they prompt, friendly, and do your belongings get there in perfect condition? Absolutely! That's what makes a great mover. I hate moving but I'm glad I had Johnny's team behind me. I hope I never have to move again but if I do, they will be the ones I call. Thanks for the hard work, guys!

Duker's movers provided a reasonable price, great and careful work, and exercised caution in moving our belongings about 75 miles in awful road conditions. Overall the experience was pleasant, the guys were great, nothing was damaged and none of the guys were hurt on a terrible weather day. We would recommend and would use them again.

dukers movers did a fine job in all respects doing our move. There was no damage to any goods in any of the stages. Dukers people are diligent and hard working. They got the job done efficiently and quickly. They are a small personal operation managed personally by Johnny, the manager. Johnny constantly consulted us on our wants and needs. The storage costs for to days was very small. The goods were delivered on time and with no problems. Dukers movers are the ideal choice for anyone paying out of pocket for a move. They are most efficient and cost effective and really care about satisfying th customer.

These guys were the best movers I've used in a long time, including 20 years of military moves. Courteous, professional and, above all, careful. My girlfriend had a small house worth of furniture in storage that need to be moved from the facility in Stafford to the house I'd just found in Lorton. Both she and I had horror stories from the last moves we made with smaller, local companies and were wary. We read the reviews for Duker's and decided to give them a chance. Glad we did. They sent a 3-man crew that was smart and efficient and accomplished a big move in about 3 1/2 hours with NO damages. As far as we are concerned, they are the go-to company for any moving jobs we or friends or family need in the future. Sorry this is so late, but I just recently joined Angie's List.

I don't like moving, but Duker's Movers LLC made the overall process a lot easier. Johny was about an hour late, but it was not a big problem since we needed extra time to tie up some loose ends. When he arrived, he and Mo moved us out of our apartment and down to Stafford in approximately 5 hours. There were no surprise costs or fees and he even gave us a break because he missed an exit along the way. We waited for him to turn around and everything went smoothly from there. We had my nephews help them with some of the the mid-sized boxes/items, but Duker's 2 man team did all of the heavy-lifting, used drop cloths wherever possible and didn't damage anything. Nice job! We were very pleased with their service. Thanks.

Everything was done so professionally. Johnny and his staff were so nice and wanted to make sure everything was done the way we wanted it to be. We couldn't have asked for a better mover and would definitely use them again as well as recommend them to friends and family. I can't say enough good things about Dukers Movers! They were fantastic!!! Three of the nicest and most accommodating men showed up at our house exactly on time and worked non-stop in the heat until they had everything loaded. They were very polite and we enjoyed talking with them. Although my husband had certain ideas on how he wanted the truck packed, Johnny was willing to please, but yet offered his expertise without being the least bit pushy. I was shocked at how little they charged! They were at our house around 5 hours, and wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied before they left. We are planning on using them again at the end of the month for another move. Great experience!

Everything went smooth, movers arrive at the time they said they would be there, they were professional and friendly. I must admit I was worry about the transportation of my two large wide screen TV sets but they came through the trip just fine. I don't plan on moving anytime soon but if I were to move again I would not hesitate to use their services again.

The movers came 30 minutes earlier than their scheduled arrival. They promptly started and managed to move my parents in the time alloted. Further, they assembled the furniture correctly without any scratches or breakage. I would highly recommend them for anyone's moving needs.

Absolutely wonderful service! Fair pricing and extremely respectful workers. They handled my personal belongings as if it was their own, even the junkie old furniture not worth $20 they still handled with care.

Originally we scheduled our move to start around 9am, but with the Cherry Blossom traffic heading towards Arlington, we decided to ask if we could move our move earlier to 7:30. They were able to do so without issue, and arrived on time. While packing our apartment, they ensured that everything was carried out of our second floor apartment and onto their truck, where it was wrapped and loaded very neatly. While we were all stuck in traffic heading to our new home, they kept us informed on where they were and estimated arrival time. Once they arrived, unpacking went very quickly. Throughout the move, Johnny and his team were enjoyable to talk with as well. We would highly recommend Dukers Movers for other moves in the future.

Johnny to the rescue again. This is my second time getting service from him and once again it was great. Very pleasant, profession guy. I purchased new furniture for my home so I needed to get rid of some things. So I called Johnny remembering how him and his crew helped me move before about a year ago. I called him up and sure enough, he was able to help me. He took all the old furniture I wanted removed and moved around some other things in the house in order to make room for my new things I was getting. And as always, the price was good. If you ever need anything moved, just give him a call.

He is very professional and polite. He got the job done in one day. Reasonably priced. They are a great group to work with.

Johnny and his team provided excellent service when I moved to my new house. I wanted to move during the middle of the week and didn't have help. Being on a third floor apartment with a full complement of heavy furniture and boxes is too much to ask friends and relatives. I went with three movers and Johnny provided the truck and the price really seemed reasonable to me considering I didn't move a thing. I selected Duker's Movers because of their high rating on this site so I have come back to add to that. I don't think I will every rent a UHAUL again, if I need to move again I will be giving them a call.

Called Dukers Moving and Johnny called me back in a timely manner. They gave me a quote which was cheaper than one other that I received. His estimation of how long it would take was also shorter. I only needed furniture moved and the apartment, storage, and house where all within a mile of each other. Another moving company gave me a quote of almose double, which I thought was outrageous. The crew arrived late, because they didn't have the apartment number or phone number, so they drove around the complex. My fiance was leaving and saw them out there and pointed them in the right direction. They did an excellent job, They took the time to ask us questions and when my fiance and I couldn't decide on a couple of things, Johnny was nice about it and went and did something else, so that it would not slow up the process. The whole crew was extrmely friendly and professional. I think they were some of the nicest movers I have used. There estimation of time was pretty much what they said. I would reccomend them to anyone moving. Thanks guys for a wonderful moving experience!!!

Excellent! On time, professional, Courteous. They were careful with our items. EXCELLENT JOB!

Johnny and his team showed up on time and did a great job at getting our stuff to our new place. They even put up with us not being quite ready. However, they did have to make 2 loads in their truck. I would recommend them to anyone who does not want to move themselves in a UHAUL or something similar. Prices are comparable to UHAUL type moves since you aren't paying mileage (within 30 miles of them). Furthermore, for in-town moves that do not require more than one truck load I would highly recommend these guys.

Duker's Movers showed up on time, were professional at all times, and did a fantastic job. They went above and beyond everything we asked of them. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help moving. My husband and I spent 2 weeks slowly moving items from our old home to our new home after work and kid extracurricular activities. When we got down to the really heavy stuff, we waved the white flag of surrender and called in the troops via Duker's Movers. And we are so glad we did. We wish we had called sooner and saved our backs! If you are moving, you definitely need to give them a call and have them come help you.
