I am more than pleased with River Oakes Roofing. Did a thorough investigation of my roof issue. Explained the repairs needed. Made a reasonable repair recommendation. Quickly got us on his schedule. Performed repairs efficiently and stands behind his work. Highly recommend this company.

Matt and the crew at River Oakes Roofing were great. they were on time and did a great job replacing the flat roof on my townhouse. When they were done they removed all the debris and did a great job of cleaning up. I would highly recommend them.

NONE of the others used their name on the numbers that came in on my phone. ...Attic inspection done first ...a concern other than those discussed prior was also addressed ...Inspection was orderly, systematic, organized and thorough ...my requests were addressed completely and with photos ...rooftop and outside was addressed and inspected ...photos and suggested solutions for inside and outside were explained ...options for worktimes and completion were discussed ...Matthew Oakes was able to complete all the minor repairs and resealing at that time both in the attic, and along the chimney and skylights ...the roof was cleared of all debris and inspected again ...everything was completed well within 2 + hours. Mr. Oaks explained additional weather related events that effect various parts of the roofing during seasonal changes and estimated remaing shingles lifetime. I will absolutely have him back to clean skylights

Matt called me as soon. as he saw the Angi referral. He asked pertinent questions and gave me a quote over the phone, saying he could be here the following day at 0800. About 0755 the next morning, he texted me that he had arrived a bit early. I showed him the part of the roof requiring repair and he confirmed his over-the-phone estimate. He had the job done in under an hour, including putting a metal patch over some damaged wood on the roof. I'm likely looking a a replacement roof in the next few years. He'll be the first one I call.

I had a leak in my roof and Matt came out the next day after i got in touch with him. He was very experienced and professional. He sealed up all the nails that were popping out, he also sealed up other minor holes and gaps he could find while he was up there. He also sealed and nailed ridgevent. He had great personality. He gave me advise on what to watch out for and took the time to educate me. I recommend him, and i will be calling him again when i redo my whole roof.

I echo Joseph N's review (10/19) 100%. Matt Oakes (owner) was on time, on point, and professional in every sense of the word. He quickly identified the source of multiple leaks (failed vent pipe boots/seal/flashing), backed up the diagnosis with pics and a clear explanation, had the parts to repair it on-hand, and completed needed repairs at a fair price. Honesty, integrity, and high quality work at a fair price with no up-sell pressure...what more could anyone ask for??? I will call on Matt again without hesitation for any similar needs going fwd.

Matt was professional all the way. He was prompt and performed only the work asked of him without trying to up sell or discover other problems. He was help and made suggestions without pressuring. He did suggest another minor repair while he was on site with his equipment and provided a very reasonable estimate with supporting photos on his phone. I valued his work and his honesty and agreed to the extra work at a very reasonable cost. I would certainly have him complete more work for me should the need arise. I am grateful for honest work at an honest price.

Knowledge/Attention to Detail/Customer Service/Extra Mile We located this business via Home Advisor. When we found out we needed a new roof, we asked for five estimates. The estimate that this business gave was competitive, but more than that, they spent some time inspecting the frame and the plywood for damage. He gave a much more detailed review which told me that he wasn't just going to throw some shingles up there but instead make sure it was done right. We also checked out reviews on the internet and the Better Business Bureau, and we verified his license. It's a small business. One guy seems to be the owner and operator so they're probably more likely to give importance to small jobs like mine. Also, the owner is very responsive. Every time I called him he got in touch with me within minutes. When they came to do the work, the boss himself was up there inspecting the damaged areas and making sure everything that need to be repaired was repaired. He had a team of 8 to 10 guys up there doing the work. The boss inspected everything. He said that this team of workers had been working with him for years, one guy for well over a decade. The boss himself has 35 years experience. They took about two full days to git 'er done, and I don't have a very big house. It's just that they made sure that everything was done right. I sincerely appreciate all the hard work and attention that these people did.
