We were preparing house for sale and needed to repair or replace old concrete rear patio which was damaged. We had several estimates and suggestions, many of which would have been very nice but were expensive and not what we were seeking. Arturo was doing some work around a pool for a friend and was suggested to us. I discussed our issue with him and he came to our house to see more details and take measurements. At first we were thinking of using concrete mixed on site, as had been done once before. But after taking measures he gave us the option of that approach or getting a truck of concrete mix, which he advised would allow him to lay thicker, more durable concrete surface at a very competitive price. He called back with a firm estimate and potential date (once he had contacted the concrete company) and we accepted. He and his team came at the agreed time, met the truck, and completed the job in a morning. They cleaned up well before departing. Arturo came back after a few days to remove the framing and double check the work. I felt they worked hard, quickly, and honestly. When we were dealing with the company (Arturo) it was more informal than some companies and we often left messages with Arturo's family. My knowledge of Spanish was helpful. Agreements and even receipts were less formal than with some companies (I actually took care of written documentation myself for both our signatures). But with these caveats, we were pleased with the results, especially for the price agreed upon in comparison to others. Would recommend and would use again.
