Description of Work: I had contracted for cleaning my home. I never was contacted by the company prior to the date of the service to confirm a date from my three choices as I was told I would be, though my credit card was charged for the service immediately. I emailed both the company and Angie's List to cancel the service a week prior to the requested service dates and never received a response from either email. The charge has not been removed from my card, so I sent a second email to Angie's List customer service. I have not received a reply from that second email. It is my first experience with Angie's List, and I am very disappointed.

+ -1 moreTried to get this scheduled and can't reach the provider. Gave three dates when we booked through Angie's list, emailed them on Monday 3/27 to try to schedule for this week and haven't heard back. We would like a refund ASAP so we can book through another company.

What's worse is, Tomas asked me to pay him in cash when he arrived and not via pay Angie's List site because they take out a $35 charge. So he wants to use this list for advertising, but 1) he doesn't want to pay to use the service, and 2) he doesn't show up for scheduled and confirmed appointments. Very frustrating because now I'm stuck with no other options this late. Angie's List should ban him from the site.
