Great service at a better price than competitors (we checked). Well acquainted with the area and their work.

It went ok, but they were by far the most expensive bid. I didn't even try to haggle with them, I went elsewhere.

Literally, they "phone it in". For a several thousand dollar job, they couldn't be bothered to even come out and look at the job and provide a written estimate. Not a good sign - they don't even have your money yet. I don't want to find out how responsive they are once they do.

Bill came back after getting the parts from the manufacture, he extracted existing refrigerant, replaced an expansion valve, installed a gas filter on incoming line and refilled new gas. After all this, my air conditioning unit works great. From the day we met to the day the job done, Bill always shows kindness and professional manner explaining system with easy to understanding tone and showing true concern about my need. Because of the service I received by CB Lucas, my perception about HAVC service have been changed. I used to think whenever they come, it will be constant battle between giver and taker. I now know that it is not always like that. There is still few GOOD firms out there makes your life happy. Thank you Bill and Mr. Lucas!!!^^

The furnace e works great. There was nothing wrong with it. C B Lucas charged me $95 to come over and push a reset button. That's not the way to win loyal customers.

Serviceman was professional, he checked everything and made sure all was well. Cleaned electrostatic filter in attic unit. Will continue having them service units in the future.

Technician arrived early in the time slot and was extremely polite and professional. He was very through and work on site for nearly an hour. He made several recommendations for things that I can do myself to help maintain the system and the right temperature in the house. I asked him about some thermostat options ahd he layed out several and was very knowledgable about the newest technology I had been reading about. I was completely impressed with the service and will use them again.

Initial contact was me calling them for an estimate based on past good service (2 years earlier) when the system needed recharging. The great thing about C.B Lucas for me was that a person answers the phone, and she was polite and respectful. We set up an appointment to have a service done and general check of the system as the inside "coil" thing that looks like a radiator was freezing over. The tech's showed up, looked at everything and from the 2 year earlier service we agreed that the unit had served its' useful life. The tech provided a very detailed estimated of work required and also of additional services like duct cleaning that would be available. He also explained financing options which included the option of no interest payment plan which for us and a $7000 purchase was exactly what we needed. He set everything up with the shop and we were set. Installer guys showed up with all required equipment and tools. First thing they did was an overall survey of the work to be done. Original estimate was all day, the two guys worked together and had it done it a lot less than that. They laid out drop cloth's to make sure no mess was tracked into the house (it was a wet rainy day). They cleaned as they worked and at jobs end the lead installer sat with us and explained how to operate the new touch screen control box, showed us how to replace the air filter and we were set. ALL employees were polite and respectful through out the entire process from the first call to the end of the install. I will use this company again and also highly recommend C.B. Lucas for your HVAC needs.

Dryer soffit venting works great....sufficient air pressure to operate flapper door on un-grated soffit vent fixture. Bathroom fan exhaust work just as well with grated soffit vent. Work completed in just over two hours. Have used this company for over 19 years--installed two combination HVAC systems, replaced 20+ year old water heater, retrofitted the dryer/bathroom fan exhaust system, and performed semiannual HVAC maintenance inspections for me under an annual contract. Both Mike Lucas and his father, Charles, have always been responsive to my inquiries. Would I use them again?--You bet! And no, I'm not related to them.

Installation and planning went as planned. Excellent experience with this company. FWould use them again.

We have had issues with half of the house not cooling in the summer and not heating up in the winter. Mr. Lucas had a great solution to our problem. He really took the time to look at our current unit, its placement, all the duct work as well as the rest of the house. He drew a layout and measured to make sure that he could give us the best solution. We did select another company to do the work but it had nothing to do with Mr. Lucas. Both estimates and solution were very comparable. I would definitely recommend him.

Estimate was too high. Was able to price the parts much cheaper and has someone else do the job. 4 days wait for service availability. Saved $ 200-300 by changing provider

They are reliable. I have been using them since 1994. They have put in 2 French air-conditioning units for me, a water heater, a retro fitted duct work. The last time since it was the beginning of spring they were a little busy.

CB Lucas was the only company that wanted to do the ductwork in solution to our air circulation problems when we were looking at HVAC units. We were referred to CB Lucas through Lowes, and this proved to be a great partnership. We were able to take advantage of Lowes great pricing and financing, and get work done by a reputable company. The company was very responsive when we were trying to figure out the best solution to getting the appropriate amount of air into our room. My only issue is I didn't realize the scope of the drywall repair before starting the job, and wish I had enlisted a drywall company prior to starting the work with CB Lucas. We were not able to get our drywall repair before a 3 week trip to Europe, and ended up having a mice infestation as a result. The patch was not sufficient to keep out mice in the hot summer months. We have eradicated the mice, but this was a long and expensive process. We had one issue with noise from the Trane unit, and quickly had CB Lucas out to get a replacement unit for the system. The system has worked perfectly this winter and we are very pleased with their work.

I had the complete Trane heatpump, heating and a/c, humidifier and air cleaner. They messed up the wiring to the humidifier. It's only supposed to come on when the furnace runs but it was running 24/7. After a couple months our water bills were very large. I even received a letter from the water company telling me that I may have a leak. When I told the company that they wired it wrong, they guy they sent out told me that we must certainly be clean, insinuating that we take a lot of showers. They also installed our backup generator. When our entire neighborhood lost power, it worked fine the first time. A few months later the control unit went out and now the generator won't work. It has been on order for eight months now and the generator is still without the control unit and will not function. When I called another company, they said they could get me a new control unit in 24 hours and did. They didn't even charge me because I have a manufacturers warranty. CB Lucas Co has never even contacted me about regular maintenance after I spent thousands of dollars on a new unit. This company has become totally incompotent since the father left the company. I'm going to wash my hands of this company. This was a great company when the father was running it, but I couldn't recommend it to anyone now.

They actually installed a brand new unit at my house last summer. This was the first repair I had them do and this is at my rental property. I guess they replaced the capacitors. They did it yesterday which was holiday and they were the first place I called. It was just a normal day for them. They sent somebody out who did a great job. The owners are happy and I am happy. They were professional and on time.

In order to start construction on a new sunroom, we needed to relocate our gas meter and rework gas connections to it inside our utility room. CB Lucas was recommended by NPL - the company that owns our gas connection and which relocated the line and meter. Tech who was going to do the work came out to do the estimate - at scheduled time, too. He was quite knowledgeable and we quickly agreed on how the work would be done - including provision for the future installation of a gas wall circulator in the sunroom when it was completed. The estimate for finishing meter relocation was $960. We scheduled the work to be done as soon as convenient. Tech and helper arrived as agreed and completed work in a timely manner and even found and repaired a leak caused by A/C work done 2 years ago by another contractor. Work was complicated by the actual location the meter was moved to by gas line techs - requiring extra pipe and fittings to be installed in a tight space. After room construction, CB Lucas returned to install a 13,000BTU wall circulator supplied by me. The technician had no trouble with the installation. He did have to borrow a hole-saw, as he came prepared to drill through a masonry wall, but all worked out well. Installation price was $1275 and included necessary permit for gas work. All work was professionally done and works well - estimate to final installation.

Excellent Work. Very Professional. Arrived on time and provided all of the extra Labor that was needed to remove the old AC Compressor from the roof of my Condo and install then new one on the Condo Roof. All refrigerant lines properly evacuated, flushed and recharged with the new Compressor and inside coils. Answered all questions, correctly hooked up my Wi-Fi Thermostat and explained everything as the installation progressed. Will use again, if needed and will get Annual Service Plan when original Warranty expires.

Good response to call during 100+ degree heat. Excellent T/S and craftsman-like repairs were done. Subsequent system issues were handled in a professional manner. Very pleased. Lucas is an excellent service that I have used for years. Always professional, always honest. Not always inexpensive. I trust them.

CB Lucas Co prices seemed reasonable. Sometimes the tech can be held up at another site and we had to wait 2 weeks for a part to be ordered and installed even though we had to pay up front. They originally installed our system.

I have been using them for the last 10 years. They are the ones who installed my furnace and air-conditioning system. They are prompt and show up on time. They're reasonably priced. They provide a nice service.

Great service. Eric, the technician, was very professional, knowledgeable, and nice. He found the problem and fixed it, didn't charge me an arm and a leg and it's been working great ever since. We have used CB Lucas before, they installed a gas line for our outdoor fireplace a couple of years ago. Nice company to work with, very fair pricing.

They were very clean, professional, and efficient. Overall, they were excellent and very cooperative.

I will absolutely use their services again in the future.
