Louis was quick to make contact and set up a Saturday appointment. Derick arrived on time, was very professional and courteous. He inspected and cleaned the chimney. He also took pictures of the aging crown and recommended repair options for me to consider. Great service, great value. Will use again.

Derek arrived carrying heavy equipment, which I had never seen before. I was surprised with the creosote pile he extracted and astounded that in 19 years of inspections, prior chimney sweeps companies did not do their jobs! However, I am grateful that finally ��� I found someone that could and would do the work. More importantly, Derek pointed out a crack in the fireplace wall, which I did not notice and even if I did, would not have understood its repercussions ��� a possible fire outside the fireplace perimeter! No prior chimney inspectors noticed or perhaps were not knowledgeable about these matters. Also, he secured the dryer hose to the vent with a metal ring and tightened it ��� a piece that was lacking. Needless to say, I will call Derek at American Chimney Sweeps for my chimney and dryer needs from now on.

Appointment was scheduled for 3 pm, at 4 pm I called to question why the technician to clean the gutters and downspounts had not arrived but had to leave a voice message, which was never returned. The technician arrived at 5 pm and he explained he was delayed due to a traffic accident on I-95 and what work he would perform. The technician was very professional, polite speaking, and did excellent work. I would suggest that someone call the customer to explain the delay.
